Meet “Hübsch (beautiful in German) Julie”, she is not my girl but belongs to another family in our picturesque alpine village. Overwhelmed!! Won my first FILMFARE last night at the FILMFARE ( Middle East) Star Achievers awards in Dubai. “BEST PERFORMANCE IN A SHORT FILM” goes to CELINA JAITLY HAAG for SEASONS GREETINGS- by Ramkamal Mukherjee. It took 18 years as an actor, an 8 year break from Cinema, two twin pregnancies and overcoming the loss of my parents and son to win this award as an actor. Thank you FILMFARE (ME), for giving this award to genuine hard work. I couldn’t make it for the awards to Dubai but this award certainly made it to my heart. Thank you dear Mr @rizwan.sajan , @manjuramanan @filmfareme from the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful for this honour. I do not know where to begin but @ramkamalmukherjee you put your faith in me at a time when I had lost faith in myself, I offer immense gratitude to the universe for your and our winning energy. Please pray for my husband @haag.peter as yesterday the 23rd of September marked his 11th year as Prisoner of war lol 😂 😂😂 We got married at a 2000 year old Monastery in Austria 11 years ago. The monks who presided over our wedding said it was the first time in two thousand years that two people from two extremely different cultures are coming together in that monastery. They were elated to preside at such a historical moment… Ours was a strictly “only family” wedding and I am so glad of the simplicity for every moment truly mattered to everyone involved.
