The bg3 brainworm is back... rutro. Have my new design for my Durge Ranger Rhyse, and my tav/companion whos a Paladin of Myrkul Leoroth. They know each other too pre Tadpole and they did *not* like each other. Leoroth keeps an eye on Rhyse though as he infiltrates the group, and he sees the group as a good way to get Kethrics job, though does have a good path too. Also when Rhyse is revived by Withers he loses all the red and becomes an ash gray (which makes him look REALLY cool as a psychopomp post-game)

I mean judging by Kit prolly Kian 💀💀 I think in hard canon Kara drinks/does drugs before Kian tho but her metabolism barely let's substances even work so I think Karas out either way lmfao

Fun fact abt Kara her name used to be Kat (Kians was Kit) but once I started seriously writing for them I couldn't get over them being KitKat so I changed it 💀💀 They're *losely* based off Abyssinian cats cause I found a cute picture of a red cat with gold eyes, but they're probably not or at least mixed cause of the white, Anyways art

I have rp blogs!!! Just finishing up a bit of Kians info rn but I have both Kara and Kian up FINALLY even though Ive had them in progress for MONTHS istg. I don't really know how they work Ive RPed for a really long time, but only ever in google docs and chatrooms with my friends, only recently even started rping in discord servers with the channels split by like, areas and stuff. Im really excited to learn though but Id love like, pointers and stuff.

Headphones or Earbuds: Headphones all the way, I lose earbuds so fast, and they feel better to me and I feel like have better sound for cheaper, but mb thats not true anymore idk

Best Time of Day: I like Sundown, lots of pretty colors, and its light enough to go out without getting burned to a crisp in the summer

Comfort Show: I watch marvel shows and movies when Im sick, so mb falcon and the winter soldier? Lowkey getting rlly sick (I had to take immunosupressants for a bad poison ivy rash and literally every disease KICKED MY ASS for two weeks) is what brought on my most recent obsession once I added ocs into the mix. If youtube series count probably hermitcraft too

Thank you!! I don't have a scanner but Ive been thinking about it since one of my friends does and they scanned one of my drawings in their sketchbook and it turned out surprisingly really pretty, moreso than taking pictures tends to turn out at least. I also appreciate the editing tips I'll keep those in mind if I get one!

Back before I had markers I used to digitally color on sketches (using color/multiply/overlay layers) and I can totally see how useful scanning could be for that especially since Im trying to be more experimental with colors including trying that sort of mixed media again

Anyways Anyways tysm I like super appreciate it and again like your art is gorgeous Id really love to be able to really capture forms and people like you one day your style is basically what I was trying to work towards for a long time so uh yea .///.

Hii!! SO I adore your art but like you mention a couple times it's hand drawn? How do you turn them into the really clean pics you post is it just scanning or something else? Just asking cause I draw a lot on paper and Id love to learn how you make all your art look so neat and pretty

hi! thank you so much!! yes, all the art you see is traditional!

i use a portable flatbed scanner (my canon lide 110 is about 15 years old but still works great!) that has scan settings for "magazine" and "photo." i use the magazine scan settings, which you can see in the first scan below, then retouch digitally to get something like the one on the right.

because this scan setting washes out my linework and shading so much, i have to decrease brightness and increase gamma. and that's usually it unless i need to do some other retouching or resizing!

for reference, the below left is the "photo" scan setting and the right is a phone camera photo of the same drawing. so there's still quite a bit of detail and pencil texture that gets lost in translation, but at least i don't have to deal with the paper texture coming through on the scan.

Added new Oc tags for Kara and Kian, and whined on my alt as I occasionally do. Omg Ive been playing YTTD recently with one of my friends, its basically a point and click/visual novel Danganropa esque free browser game and it's SUPER FUN Im on chapter 3 pt 1 B so Im nearing the end of what's currently out and it's SUPER FUN I like Keiji and Gin :33 Saras like, I feel like my favorite character though, with games like these I feel like the main character is never my favorite but in YTTD shes really fun and compelling, oh man Joe is rlly good too he was my favorite for a while, and he really makes Sara the fantastic character she is. Yeah anyways that's been the vibe, also starting to look at early applications for college's so Im not scrambling last minute so that's been me lol
