TS4: Mixing Bowls Override

ABOUT THIS ITEM:

This will override the following base game mixing bowls:

NOTE: 3 mixing bowls were not replaced, because overriding them makes the game crash. If I ever find a solution for that, I'll post them for you.

NOT REPLACED: Fruit salad mixing bowl (Dine Out), Ceviche mixing bowl (Luxury Party), Super food salad mixing bowl (Spa Day).

INSTALL/ IMPORTANT:

1- Please choose and download JUST ONE VERSION.  You can only use one override for an item at a time.

2- Download it, extract it and place it on your Mods folder. Do not put it more than 1 folder deep, or it may not work.

Example 1: Mods/Replacements/(your file here) - OK 👍

Example 2: Mods/Replacements/Food/(your file here) - Won't work 👎

3- If you later want to use another bowl, first delete the one you're currently using and then replace for you one you want.

Note: If you're using another override for these bowls, you need to delete them in order to use this one.

"MIXING" THE MIXING BOWLS (OPTIONAL):

You can mix and match different colors for the bowls.

HOW TO DO IT?

Each zip file comes with 8 package files of bowls in the same color:

-channel4sims - food replacements - mix bowl chocolate - NAME OF COLOR/VERSION

-channel4sims - food replacements - mix bowl dough - NAME OF COLOR/VERSION

-channel4sims - food replacements - mix bowl eggs - NAME OF COLOR/VERSION

-channel4sims - food replacements - mix bowl meat - NAME OF COLOR/VERSION

-channel4sims - food replacements - mix bowl pasta - NAME OF COLOR/VERSION

-channel4sims - food replacements - mix bowl salad - NAME OF COLOR/VERSION

-channel4sims - food replacements - mix bowl spice - NAME OF COLOR/VERSION

-channel4sims - food replacements - mix bowl white casserole - NAME OF COLOR/VERSION

EXAMPLE: You can pick an override for the chocolate mixing bowl from the pink ver 1 zip, then for the dough mixing bowl from the galaxy ver zip, and so on.

This way you can have 8 different mixing bowls at a time :)

REALLY IMPORTANT: The only thing you can't do is having more than one override for the same bowl. For example: having more than one override for the chocolate bowl at a time. Make sure they are different bowls (chocolate, dough, eggs, meat, pasta, salad, spice and white casserole. Then the version name for each one of them: pink, galaxy, etc).

It's OPTIONAL though. You can have all bowls in the same color/version.

TS4: Animated Sign Override - Welcome Back, BTS 2025!

BTS will fully be discharged from their military service in June 2025.

So, for the ARMY who also play TS4, I made another override for this animated sign to celebrate their discharge and comeback with all members.

2 Pictures of the remaining members to be discharged: Namjoon, Jungkook, Jimin, Taehyung and Yoongi will be displayed, plus a picture of BTS together.

ABOUT THIS DOWNLOAD:

It's base game compatible.

This will override the green bottle the Sims use to cook, and also to make drinks.

🚨 REALLY IMPORTANT: Since our Sims use it both in kitchen and also at the bar, please, download the bar items override as well, so your Sims won't use olive oil to make drinks 😅

All the images shown in the pictures were printed from the game, so this is exactly how they look in game :)

OPTIONS AVAILABLE:

When I asked for your opinions, everyone agreed that the green bottle should be olive oil. So I made a few realistic ones, a EA inspired one, and also a Tartosa olive oil brand.

I also made an oil dispenser version in case you wanted to keep it neutral.

2- Extract it and place it in your Mods folder. There are 27 package files inside it (all override versions).

3- Please choose and keep JUST ONE VERSION.  You can only use one override for an item at a time.

Note: They're all called "channel4sims - food replacements - green culinary bottle - olive oil (NAME OF THE VERSION)".

4- KEEP just the package file of the version you want. DELETE all other 26 package files.

NOTE: Do not put it more than 1 folder deep inside Mods, or it may not work.

🌸 First of all, delete "localthumbcache". If you don't know how to do it, here's the tutorial :)

🔷 If it's your first time downloading the item:

You don't have to do anything. Just download it and place in your Mods folder. They're all updated as of now :)

🔷 If you already have them in your Mods folder:

1- Delete the old version. If you don't know how to locate it, search for "channel4sims" in your mods folder. This will probably help you. The files are called the same.

2- Download the new file and place it in your Mods folder :)

I am just starting to learn how to make and modify cc, and for my *first ever* project, I re-tuned your closed decor caboodle as a functional storage chest - that's what I use my real caboodle for, after all! Is this something that is okay to share with others? I barely know what I'm doing so I don't even know if/how I could separate it from the mesh, like for recolors? Thanks for making such cute stuff and for your time reading this! (Sorry if you get multiples; tumblr is being useless)

It's base game compatible.

There are 20 color swatches.

The vending machine lights up (auto) like a floor lamp.

The snacks will show up in the list as a full (closed) package so it'll be easier for you to choose. But it'll be already opened in your inventory, the way your Sim will eat it.

Find it on buy mode as: "channel4sims - vending machine - korean snacks".

It also comes with two decorative versions, standing and laying down, of all snacks for deco & storytelling.

 The snacks translations are available in English and Brazilian Portuguese. If anyone wants to translate it to another language, let me know and I'll make the string tables available in a file, or you can do it yourself if you know how to :)

There are three package files inside the download zip file below. Keep all of them :)

Pra fazer o alarme funcionar, um ladrão precisa entrar na sua casa.

Se você quiser usar um cheat pra forçar o ladrão aparecer, aperte a tecla "Shift" no seu teclado e segure, e clica na caixa de correio da casa. Aí é só escolher "Marcar Visita de Bandidagem (Debug)" que ele vai aparecer depois de um tempo, geralmente de madrugada.

TS4: Candy Machine Bottles OVERRIDE

We got a candy machine with the Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack.

To craft any of the candies our Sims will always use these same two bottles.

The yellow one we already had from base game, and a new pink one.

I was thinking what would be the best way to override these bottles, since the machine doesn't work in a "realistic" way. You wouldn't use the same ingredients to create jellybeans and cotton candy, right?

On the other hand, editing the recipes and creating different ingredients for all of them, could end up causing problems and crashes in a heartbeat.

So this time, instead of the real life bottles, I just created overrides for these two bottles.

At first I had just posted a version with the Simlish text. But some of you maybe would prefer real languages texts. So I added them too. A glucose syrup bottle and candy flavoring one. Pretend that makes sense for all recipes 😅

ABOUT THIS DOWNLOAD:

You need Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack.

The yellow bottle will only be replaced when using the candy machine. The actual override for the yellow culinary bottle will be posted soon.

VERSIONS AVAILABLE:

SIMLISH, ENGLISH, PORTUGUESE, SPANISH :  They come with two bottle overrides. The override for the pink bottle from Businesses & Hobbies, plus a new white bottle that will replace the yellow (base game) one while crafting candies.It will also make changes in these two files: "candyMachine_Use" & "candyMachine_Use_Child".

EA INSPIRED: It comes with a remake/override of the pink bottle from Businesses & Hobbies.It will not override the yellow bottle. I'll be posting override options for the yellow bottle soon, and if you want to use a remake of the EA bottle, you'll have this option in this other download (not posted yet as of now).NOTE: You can, if you want, use a white bottle override together with it (instead of waiting for the yellow bottle override). It would make more sense to use the Simlish one, I guess.How do you do it? Download the EA Inspired version. Then, download the Simlish version as well. Delete the "channel4sims - food replacements - candy ingredient bottle pink - simlish" package file and keep just the white one.
