i love the trope of Bruce's kids being yoinked by different parent figures in their lives, and the kids knowing full well and using it to their advantage when they've got any problems with him.
Tim, pissed at Bruce: That's it, I'm staying with Shiva for the week. Cass is now my official sister 2/3 of the way.
Cass, grinning: Baby brother.
Jason, annoyed with Bruce (more than usual): 'Kay I'm gonna go bunker up with Talia for a bit before I put a bullet through you. Cya.
Damian: Say hi to her for me.
Jason, with finger guns on the way out: Will do.
Dick, needing a break from Bruce (again): If anyone needs me I'll be in Kansas.
Tim, nodding: Understandable.
Steph: Kansas?
Dick: I need Uncle Clark therapy.
Duke: Alright I'm gonna go crash at Jeff's for a bit.
Cass: B?
Duke: ... A bit overbearing. I'll tell Anissa you said hi.
Cass, grinning: Good. Bring back Grace's cookies.
Duke, laughing: Got it.

Okay but Batman and Robin, Dick Grayson, dick was called Boy Wonder, so I give you Bruce bellowing “BOY!!!” when Dick does something wrong or right, a warning before impact, a scream of, ‘get your ass over here right now i need to protect you’ etc. And the league meeting him and b going ‘come here boy.” and superman is like ‘bro why are you so mean? Theres no need to call him boy like that’ and dick and bruce are like ‘what?’ because to dick its an endearment, its a compliment, it means he belongs and bruce loves him, and to bruce its just another nickname for his son, its not meant condescendingly, it might sound that way but for them its sweet. And even when Dick is older and Nightwing bruce still calls him Boy and Flash is like “why do you let him talk to you like that?” and nightwing is confused because bruce calling him boy makes him feel all warm inside because hes still bruces robin, bruce loves him, and the league just doesn't understand. Anyway just cute bruce and dick stuff.

Cass is so fun as a character because she fulfils the 'gruff but with a heart of gold' trope in a way that normally is exclusively used for male characters. Cass can be abrasive, and asocial, and off-putting. She is better than everyone, knows it, and she is not afraid to say it loudly to your face. She tried to help Babs feel better after seeing her cry, and decided the best way was to simply throw Nightwing out of a window (it's okay, he was fine).
But Cass is also someone who loves deeply and cares so much. About everyone. She has strong moral convictions to never kill not because she's scared it would push her over the edge but because she values people's lives so much. Because she believes everyone can choose to be better, and they deserve the chance to make that choice.
She isn't sweet and friendly and someone who always manages to get on with people, but she also isn't a cold ruthless assassin. She is a tough, broken person who finds something to protect in everyone. Someone who can frankly be a jerk (and can be difficult for some people to get along with) but who would risk her life time and time again if it meant helping someone. Cass is a hero through and through.
Anyway, I just love Cass.

When Tim hid the secret Batmobile in the batarang budget, I like to think he wrote an itemized list of every. Single. Batarang. So Bruce would skip over it and just give him the money

Damian: Father, where is Alfred? I need his counsel on an issue. Bruce: He stepped out for some errands, but I can help in his place. What's the issue? Damian: No. Even I am more knowledgeable in the ways of the heart than you. I shall wait for Alfred's return. Bruce mouthing: In the ways of the heart? Later that evening: ........ Bruce: Did Damian talk to you about his problem today, Alfred? Alfred: Yes, Master Bruce. The lad seemed to be sweet on a classmate and was seeking guidance on how to approach the young man. Bruce: Why didn't he come to me!? I could help him! Alfred: Seeing as you failed to get Jack Fenton to glance in your direction, let alone consider you a romantic partner, I fail to see how you would help Master Damian with Danny Fenton. Bruce: Jack Fenton has a son!? A son Damian fancies!? Alfred: Yes, he does. Interestingly enough, I had a similar conversation with your father back when he learned Anthony Fenton's son was Jack. Bruce: I can't believe this. It's always the Fentons. WHY CAN'T THEY EVER LOVE US BACK?! Alfred: Well, you know what they say. The third time is the charm. Perhaps Master Damian will have better luck than you or your father did. Bruce: Do you really belive that? Alfred: Oh not at all. I've seen the way Mr.Fenton looks at Master Damian. That is not the expression of a boy who fancies someone. Rather, I would say it's the one a butcher aims at a cow for slaughter. Bruce sighing: And the cycle of heart break contuines.

I know there are a lot of fanfics about Jason being caught by the Justice League and usually getting bailed out by the batfam, but imagine if it was Brucie Wayne bailing him out:
In the JL interrogation room:
Superman: Alright, Red Hood, who is your supplier helping you move drugs in Star City?
Red Hood, who was undercover investigating a drug ring and got caught in a JL bust and sesnses an opportunity to mess with Batman: Look, I know you guys aren't cops, but can I get at least get one phone call?
Justice league looking skeptical?
Red Hood: You can even monitor it.
Green Arrow: Fine one phone call, but it will be monitored.
Hands Hood a phone
Red Hood: Hey Dad, I got stopped by the Justice League. Could you come bail me out? Really, okay, see you soon. Okay, my Dad said that he would bail me, so could we go over to the teleporters?
Green Arrow: Okay, firstly, we aren't cops, you can't just post bail and get out. Secondly, how would this "Dad" get up here?
Red Hood: You'll see.
Minutes later, Brucie Wayne walks in with a trail of Heroes, trying to explain why he cannot be at the Watchtower.
Superman: Mr. Wayne what are you doing here and how did you get here?
Bruce laying the Brucie persona on thick: Well as one of the Justice League's biggest doners and tech suppliers I have access to the teleporters, as for why I'm here it's to bail out my son. Hi Jaylad!
Red Hood fully expecting Batman: What?
Green Arrow remembering his friend's grief over loosing Jason: Ummmm, Mr. Wayne this is the Red Hood. You know "Bag full of severed heads" Red Hood.
Brucie: Yes, I know he's had some issues with his big feelings, but he's still my sweet little boy.
Superman: And you think that he's your late son Jason Todd?
Brucie: Yes, Batman even confirmed it was him. It turns out that after he died, he was brought back by an organization that planned on using him as a weapon against Batman. But he left them and has been working to improve Crime Alley, I'm so proud of him.
Green Arrow: We caught him in Star City with Drug runners.
Brucie: I'm sure he has a good explanation, don’t you Jaylad?
Red Hood still reeling from Bruce showing up as Brucie and not Batman: I was undercover?
Brucie: See perfectly reasonable, now can I please have my baby boy back? Alfred will be so upset if he's not home for dinner.
Surprisingly, this works , the Justice League is to stunned by this revelation and later confirm this with Batman that yes, the notorious Red Hood is the son of Billionaire, philanthropist airhead Brucie Wayne. Jason, meanwhile, has suffered a huge blow to his cred in the Hero community because of the association with Brucie instead of the Batfam. The bat siblings do not let this go anytime soon.

Love Thy Good Neighbor
Jason has risen from the dead and is catatonic... until he bumps into a familiar face from his childhood: Mr. Loony Fenton. Then, abruptly, he's awake and coherent again.
Or, the one where Danny Fenton, who was considered the Todd's deranged neighbor at one point, bumps into the revenant of Jason Todd and snaps him straight out of his catatonia only when he's close by.
If Danny ever leaves, that means Jason loses his sense of self. At least until Danny is around again.

Danny: What's this? *Holding red envelope*
Jazz: I don't know. It came in the mail today. No name or anything, so I assumed it was for you from your night job.
Danny opening envelope: Jazz. This a love letter. A letter addressed to the Elder Daughter of the house
Jazz: For me? Who's it from?
Danny: Jason Todd. This is obviously a fake-
Jazz: I'm writing back.
Danny: What!? Why!?
Jazz: This is romantic as hell. He quoted Pride and Prejudice. I can not possibly pass up a chance with a boy who looks like that and reads classics.
Three days later
Tim: Oh shit
Dick: What?
Tim: Remember that prank we pulled on Jason by pretending to send love letters to random addresses posing as him?
Dick: Yeah, that was funny. He looked so embarrassed
Tim: One of them answered. *Holds up teal envelope*
Damian: Incredible. Contact her as quickly as possible
Tim: Why?
Damian: She's obviously has the courage and curiosity that fits well with Todd. Out of the lot of potential candidates, she shows the most promise to join this family
Dick: Dami.....those were real addresses?
Damian blinking slowly: You told me to help you find suitable lovers for Todd. It was a task. I complete tasks. I found real addresses for girls that fit Todd preference in women.
Tim: Omg

Danny *sees the manor. turns to look at Batman suspiciously*: Are you a fruitloop too?
Bruce: ????
Danny: Eh, doesn't matter, I guess. What's the worst that could happen? cloning? been there, done that. You'll have to try harder.
Bruce *deeply concerned*: hn.
Danny *muttering to himself*: Oh no, this one's also giving adoption vibes. Maybe I am a magnet for these things. Oh well.
Danny: Who are you?
Batman: Your worst nightmare.
Danny: *gasp* You're me from the future?! The me from the past?! OH NO, YOU'RE ONE OF THE VOICES THAT ESCAPED MY HEAD, ARENT YOU!?
Batman:.....no.
Danny: Oh okay.
Batman: Kid, are you okay?
Danny: Yeah, why do you ask :D ?
Batman: Where are you parents? Your house? It's too dangerous to be involved with gangs like this.
Danny: My parents are dead, my house is the streets, and I'm not involved with any gangs. I'm just squatting in the warehouse they happen to meet in, sir.
Batman: ......would you like some food? I know a man who would offer you shelter too.
Danny: you want me to follow a random stranger wearing a weird costume that I just met? Sure lead the way! :D :D
Batman mentally: This is my son now. My mentally unstable son.

instead of wanting to kill Tim for replacing him, Jason just wants to piss him off a little to keep him on his toes. he does this by changing his name and getting a degree in teaching, and then becoming Tim's English teacher at Gotham prep.
Tim is losing his mind because he swears on his life that his predecessor is literally his english teacher and is literally failing him- and nobody fucking believes him.
Jason thinks it's the funniest shit he's ever managed to pull off. it gets funnier when while on patrol, Red Hood runs into the bats, and instead of helping the others fight him, Red Robin throws down his bo staff down and screeches at the top of his lungs 'STOP GIVING ME FUCKING DETENTION'

Danny *gaslights Bruce into thinking he asked him for help and doesn't remember.*
Bruce *still grieving his child and so sad he can't think clearly*: yeah that checks.
As Bruce heals and starts thinking more clearly he also starts asking more questions. Danny's story changes every time. He doesn't even try to hide it. Bruce would be more upset but, honestly? Danny's puzzle keeps him connected to the now and off of the spiral his thoughts have become. Also the kid's pure adoption bait but he bolted as soon as he so much as implied it and didn't talk to him for three days straight. It took him other 5 to get him to stop calling him fruitloop (weird insult but ok) and a promise not to ask again.
Eventually, when Danny decided he was in a good place mentally and emotionally, he told him about Tim's situation after making him promise not to make him Robin while still helping him. He also felt it when Jason came back and was there to help him out of the grave (he sent him to Jazz for the trauma part though).
Tim: I know who you are.
Danny, squinting down at him wearing Hello Kitty pjs.: What are you talking about? Who's child is this?
Tim: Batman has gotten too dangerous. He is a threat to himself and others. He needs a Robin to keep him sane. You need to come back to Gotham.
Danny: Kid-
Tim: I have proof! I'll release it all!
Danny sighing: I was just about to have some milk and Oreos. Do you want some?
Later, while Tim is eating his snack, Danny is talking on the phone: No Jazz, of course I'm not Robin! How was I supposed to know that turning off gravity so I could do a crazy hard flip would lead to a literal toddler thinking I was Robin? .....Because apparently, the quadruple somersault can only be done by four people in the world.....I don't know! What am I supposed to do with him? Tim already threatened to become Robin himself! He's so tiny, Jazz! I can't just send him out in the field like that!.........Look, Batman is spiraling. He'll never notice.....yes, I'm sure. How hard can being Robin be? I was already Phantom for a few years.

bonus points if, post-reveal, Bruce decides to switch to Brucie mode whenever the league displeases him or stops paying attention. It somehow makes him scarier because wdym Batman is aggressively flirting with the flash because he fell asleep mid-meeting?
All the while, Ollie is just having a crisis because, for the sake of his sanity, he has decided that Brucie and the bat are two different people. And while he will absolutely give his full attention to his friend, Brucie, because he cares™ and his friend deserves all the support ever, he's still lowkey scared of the bat and antagonizes him on principle. Which leads to Bruce fully taking advantage of it and switching to Brucie whenever he wants something from Oliver.
Bruce about to reveal his identity to the JL
Bruce: “I’m going to do something that may traumatize two of you. I am not sorry.”
Oliver: “oh come on Batman your identity isn’t that special.”
Bruce going full whiny play boy: “Dinah! Ollie is being mean to me!!!”
Oliver: blue screens
Dinah: “YOU BITCH!?”

Currently obsessed with the idea of Jason comes back to Gotham to do his whole red hood thing but doesn't bother fighting batman or dropping hints that he's actually Jason Todd like how long do you think it would take for Bruce to figure it out on his own or would it take damian showing up and being like why you all still crying about Todd he's right there

Jason *glaring at Brucie's back hard while following him out of the watchtower*
Bruce *innocent face, has never done anything wrong in his life*: what's wrong, Jay-lad? you told batman he wasn't your dad. Aren't you happy I was available to come get you?
Jason *sputtering*: I... uhm... but...
Bruce *smirks*
I feel like this concept would go well with the 5+1 fic format. Like 5 times batman helped red hood get out of trouble and the one time Brucie did or smth.
