@ravings1   Ravings is staring out the window and blinks with pencil in hand and paper on desk. Natsuki moves beside his desk and leans back on empty desk. N: Hey, Ravings? R: He looks over at Natsuki and smiled setting down his pencil, “Hey Natsuki, how are you doing?” N: She glances away with a small smile plastered on her face seeing his smile. Her eyes shifted back and her hands move to rest together at her lap. “I'm doing alright.. I was just thinking after school today if we can hang out a little. There's a place near both our houses kinda. R: He still stared steadily with a smile and nodded his head in affirmation, “Sure that seems alright with me.” N: “That's good. Since you don't really walk home with anyone, thought it could be safer for us to do that since you're small.” R: “Well that is sweet of you, thanks Natsuki.” N: Her cheeks darkened briefly from a chaste blush before it vanished at the sound of the class bell giving them pause from their conversation. “Then don't leave right away after school, later!” She walked off briskly as some of the other students left as well while his classmates entered through the other side of the room. As the other students got seated he picked back up his pencil and waited on the teacher. At the end of the day as student's left he headed out the front of the school and smiled spotting Natsuki easily with her pink hair as she glanced around with a look of uncertainty drawn. He walked up to her where his soft paw pads let him unintentionally move with stealth till he was directly to her side and looking up at her. He gave her a second to maybe see him before calling to her. R: “Hey!” N: Her eyes widened as her feet left the ground when she jumped nearly a foot in the air from fright and looking down at him still wide eyed and blushing in embarrassment. “Ravings! Were you trying to look up my skirt!?” R: Smirking slightly pleased with the results he pat her arm lightly for comfort, “No cutie I'm too tall for something like that naturally. But that little jump was adorable to get to see,” he drawled. N: “Cu-” She turned away and crossed her arms, “Dummy, I just thought I stepped on you!” R: “While standing still?” N: Her face darkened again briefly till she pouted, “Th-that's not the point, do you want me to help you walk home or not?” R: “I thought you wanted to hang out for a little on the way to our separate houses?” N: She ducked her head slightly still in a pout but still glanced down at him, “..That's what I meant.” R: He smiled reassuringly up at her and adjusted his backpack on, “Sounds like a plan.” She smiled a little and headed out the school gate with him as she adjusted the single strap of her backpack. Ravings moving a little faster to match her striding pace. R: Want me to carry you backpack? N: She gave an audible scoff, “Its about half the length of your body though.” R: “That's okay,” there was a brief silence “it would be repayment when you accidentally showed me your panties when you leaped.” N: Her step faltered while Ravings kept moving with his little legs, “You- I- I didn't show you my u- underwear..” her voice falling softer so others might not overhear. R: “Sure you didn't” he drawled to tease her. N: “Wait, did you see them?” R: “Mm...maybe.” N: “R-Ravings!” He had glanced back in time to see her backpack coming to him and being caught with an audible “oof”. At the park she moved ahead of him to the swing set as he followed carrying both their bckpacks. R: “So how close is this park from your place?” He sat down on the swing beside her own. N: “Oh I could be home in about 5 minutes, this place is near your home too right?” R: “Y..eah, pretty close by, you picked a good spot to hang at.” She said kinda.. this path will be taking me nearly an extra 20 minutes to get home when I backtrack..He watched her kick at the ground a little to get herself started in being airborne. She seems to hide her more childish side, but this is cute seeing her more relaxed than at school.. 

They swung quietly beside her, Ravings becoming more airborne like Natsuki was to where they could quietly enjoy the breeze. 

N: Hey Ravings. R: He glanced over to her, “Yeah?” N: “I challenge you, if I can leap further than you then you owe me a soda tomorrow for lunch.” R: He smiled, “And what do I get if I win?” N: Mmm.... You don't have to carry my backpack next time we come here. R: He chuckled, “But I didn't mind carrying your bag. Are you using me just to get your soda fix tomorrow?” N: “N-no! I'm gonna go first.” She begun swinging her legs to gain more air while Ravings watched her go. After the first swing Ravings called to her guessing she was mentally counting to 3 or 5. R: “Hey Natsuki.” N: She kept her eyes on the sand ahead of her where she wanted to land going into her second swing, “What?” R: “Problem..” N: “Problem?” She moved her arms from the chain link for the next leap to take off. R: He watched her follow through and just before getting airborne he called after her, “I'll see your panties again.” That made her freeze on her release time as she quickly became flustered and covered the front of her skirt to keep it down as she wound up going straight up then down barely close to two feet from her swaying swing as she turned on Ravings getting ready to leap. N: “Y-You saw!” R: He made his leap easily a foot ahead of her and turned in the sand to smile innocently at her, “Nope.” N: Her face still beat red and sore from losing,“Y-You, pervert!” R: He went to her and hugged her arm resting his cheek to her as he looked up at her steadily while she gazed down flustered. “I wouldn't do that to you cutie. You're my friend and would wanna treat you better than that.” N: She glanced away all of a sudden feeling a mix of guilt for the accusation yet shy for the complement as her voice lowered to a soft, more reasonable tone. “Dummy...” she gave his head a gentle pet, “but thanks..” Ravings closed his eyes in content being pet and purred softly. (End cut scene of her pausing and blushing a little as she just heard the purr and found it cute.)

The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom Chapter 9

Last time on The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom, the doctor and Anika find out that the new babies, Zero and Hanabi aren't twins, but just natural siblings by two years apart. Anika and the doctor have come so close that they had decided to seal the moment together with a sensational, but incomplete kiss.

The servant had informed the doctor of King Aireth's request to bring him the baby. The doctor only brings him Anika's son and introduces King Aireth to him. Though, with an intention of his own, King Aireth catches the doctor and Anika red handed with Hanabi. Getting into a battle of the doctor vs King Aireth, the doctor had won, only for King Aireth to decide that Hanabi and Anika will be executed and the doctor to be punished by variation.

With determination to save Anika and Hanabi, the doctor then proposes the idea of an escape plan for them. Will his plan to keep his loved ones safe prevail and be successful? Lets find out.

It is now the upcoming night, the night before the execution tomorrow, and the doctor has fully planned out an escape route for Anika and Hanabi. He' going to take Zero with him just in case, wanting to avoid all possible faults that can mess his plan up. The babies are quietly and softly cooing at each other, being as cute as usual. Anika is watching them, gently smiling, worried for Hanabi and her new eye. The doctor had made sure everything was ready and packed, but was just waiting for it to get dark and for the castle to be clear by the majority amount.

Doctor:*Anika, do you think you and Hanabi are ready to leave?

Anika:*Heh, I can tell you right now..Hanabi wouldn't have a clue of what's going on... If she did, I could only hope that she'd forget later in her years. I honestly can't say I'm ready. I know it would seem weird because of the whole "my daughter and I are gonna be executed tomorrow" thing, but...I just can't...*starts tearing up* I don't want to leave... I don't want to leave you....*tears start falling down her face* I love you...

Doctor:**he goes to her, hugging her, holding her close* Anika... I understand... I honestly do... I love you too, and I honestly don't want you to leave...but I don't want to lose you and Hanabi either... Your life is more important to me than my desires of being with you. Even though it doesn't feel like it, this is for the best.

Anika:**cries more, her face buried in the doctor's chest*

Doctor:**keeps holding her, trying to calm her down* Please calm down my love.. Everything will be ok......'I promise'...

Anika:**lightly blushes from him calling her his love, slowly calming down in his hold*...Ok....

*They continue to hold each other, sharing one last moment together, after a little, they finally, but reluctantly back away, but not that far from each other, holding hands*

Doctor:*Are you feeling okay?

Anika:*I'm feeling a little better. What about you?

Doctor:*I'm hanging in there as long as you are alright.

Anika:*Alright.

Doctor:*I'm sorry to bring it up again, but we can't stay here any longer.

Anika:**looks even more upset than before again*

Doctor:*...Anika?

Anika:*...*looks at the doctor again*

Doctor:**he goes to Anika, holds her close again, but this time, he crashes his lips with her, kissing her for the first time, eyes closed, his affection for her defining itself proudly in the kiss*

Anika:**eyes widen as she's taken by surprise for a moment. She willingly gives in and kisses him back, closing her eyes, holding him close. She more recessive and lets him lead her through this moment with him*

*The doctor had deepened the kiss to enhance it, sharing this with her for some minutes. When they reluctantly breaks the kiss, their spirits had ignited a spark of spirit and hope within them. they smile at each other, nuzzle each other, and decide to speak final words before their separation*

Doctor:*Anika, when I had heard of your arrival to the king, I hadn't thought anything about it. I felt bad that you were to be for his desire, but I never realized that the maiden he took for granted was a truly beautiful young lady such as you. The moment I had seen you, I realized that King Aireth had taken a poor soul and twisted a possible future for it. I felt terrible. Hearing what he had done to you, I had felt worse. I had wanted to meet you, but was busy at the moments, imagining that I'd get to see you soon. Then you had came to me that one day, and my spirit had brightened up just from the sight of you. You are the one angel that has shown me love, dedication to the one I care for, and so much more. I thank you, and I hope one day that we cross each other's paths and get to be together.

Anika:**blushes more* Doctor Lin-quan, when I first arrived to the castle, I felt like I had made a mistake, and after my encounter with the king, I definitely felt like that. When I had met you, I didn't know what to think. After a while, I felt myself coming closer to you. You're always so sweet and kind to me. If I had a chance to leave earlier, I would've stayed for you. The light from when I had became a fallen angel had greatly dimmed until you came into my life and brightened it up again. I couldn't thank you as much as I want to, but I hope that someday that I can make it up to you on the day we possibly cross paths again. Until then, all we can do is hope for the best of a bright future for us.

Doctor:*I hope the same~ *sighs* Are you ready my love? We have to go now.

Anika:**sighs, gets her stuff and picks up Hanabi, kisses her forehead and takes a deep breath* Yes, I'm ready even though I don't want to leave.

Doctor:**picks up Zero and bounces him a little to get him to giggle* I don't want you two to leave either, but remember that 'it's for the best'.

Anika:**nods* I will.

The doctor and Anika then head out with the babies, quiet and calm. They sneak through the palace dungeon where they had been in Anika's cell. They manage to slip through the halls, past all and any of the palace workers, working together not to get caught.

Eventually after a lot of sneaking around, dodging, hiding, and communication with each other, they make it in the actual palace. Carefully working to sneak through everything. As they are going through the halls, they come across a room with the door open and the light on. They realize that the room belongs to the palace blacksmith. He and a maid are together conversing in the room.

Maid:**gives the blacksmith a cup of coffee* Here you go. How are you feeling? I saw the trouble they were putting you through, and I don't think you deserved that. I understand about tomorrow, but you're no slave, and they have no right to be so rough with you.

Blacksmith:**takes a sip and sighs* Thank you, I needed this. It's all so much work, and this is quite a lot, even for me. I know that I can have a shipment of 9 million long fresh iron bars ready in 10 minutes, and over 20 thousand swords made for more than 60 individual armies in under a day, but...to have the execution set ready for tomorrow...it hurts me to have to be the one to hand them the items to execute Lin-quan, his lover, and one of the babies... It's not that it's physically difficult, but it's emotionally and mentally hard for me. Yet the workers all come so harshly to me and order me as if it's normal. They don't understand... No one here does and it annoys me so much. I had to hold myself back from snapping at them.

Maid:*I won't say that I understand because I don't and I know it, but I'll do my best to be there for you. I mean that no matter what.

Blacksmith:*Thank you love. You're so beautiful. How has your day been?

Maid:**blushes* You're such a flatterer, and handsome as well. It's been something at least. The girls can't get the execution out of their mind. They feel that they don't deserve this.

Blacksmith:*No one does.

Maid:* Of course, but we can't say that despite how much we want to.

Blacksmith:*I know...

The doctor frowns from what he hears the blacksmith saying, wanting to go to him and hug him, but he doesn't let it get to him. They continue to sneak through the halls and rooms of the palace.

They come across the attraction room, which is completely empty, only to come across the execution items for the ceremony tomorrow.

Anika:**whispers* This isn't good...

Doctor:**whispers* This is exactly why I'm getting you two out of here.

They continue through the room quietly, through more halls, through the palace until they finally make it into the court yard where the gates are. The carefully observe the surroundings at the moment before proceeding. They see that palace soldiers are blocking the gate out of the palace.

The doctor plans a new pathway through the court yard, and they carefully proceed. As they continue on their path, King Aireth was watching in the court yard and from the corner of his eye, had caught a hint of Anika's hair and the doctor's lab coat. He smirks and lets the soldiers know.

The doctor and Anika keep sneaking, and immediately hide when they see the soldiers moving, but can't tell where they're going. The doctor takes extreme precaution, and they continue to sneak with much more caution.

The doctor and Anika finally make it to the gates, not coming across any guards. They hug each other and the babies gently coo at each other. Hanabi and Zero hold hands, softly giggling at each other. They look so cute together. Anika smiles gently at them along with the doctor.

Anika:**whispers quietly* I'll miss you so much.

Doctor:**whispers quietly as well* I'll miss you too. *They kiss again* Let's get you out of here.

Anika:**nods* Please take good care of Zero.

Doctor:**nods* I will, I promise. *he kisses Hanabi's forehead*

Anika:**kisses Zero's forehead*

Soldier:*Halt!!

Anika:**gasps. The rest of the soldiers surround them, letting King Aireth come in front of them, smirking*

King Aireth:**chuckles* What's this? Eloping?

Doctor:*Sadly, no, but good guess on something that you'll never get to do.

King Aireth:*Whatever. Doctor, it's now decided that you will be executed for this tomorrow.

Doctor:*I don't care as long as you don't harm Anika and her daughter.

King Aireth:*Oh no, she's still being executed along with her daughter as well.

Doctor:*Then you'll have to go through me first.

King Aireth:*I don't have to do such a thing when I have soldiers by my side.

Doctor:*You wouldn't dare.

King Aireth:*Oh I would. I'm over the idea of losing an old friend already. You have become nothing but disrespectful to me and I won't accept it anymore as your king.

Doctor:*How is it disrespect when you're trying to correct an unjust king who should've been overthrown a long time ago? You have such an ego and it's more than just uncanny for your actions. It's ridiculous.

King Aireth:**is very angered* Soldiers, dispose of the peasant and her daughter and lock the doctor up tightly in chains in a cell!!!

Soldiers:**immediately gets started on what they're ordered to do*

Doctor:**immediately helps Anika and Hanabi over the gate* ANIKA, RUN!!!

Anika:*But, doctor-

Doctor:**tears are streaming down his face* PLEASE!!! RUN!!! RUN AND NEVER COME BACK!!!

Anika:**tears are streaming down her face. Arrows are flying at her and Hanabi. She immediately starts running out of the kingdom*

Anika had kept running with a now crying Hanabi until she had ran past the premise line of the palace. King Aireth had then banished Anika and Hanabi from ever returning to the palace. The doctor had been defeated by the soldiers, protecting the now crying Zero no matter what. He was taken to a cell, locked up very tightly and Zero was placed in a separate cell by himself. The doctor, upset that Anika's gone, gently smiles to himself, happy that she and Hanabi are safe.

hey have i ever told y’all about my cursed apartment building

cursed how, you say???? well, here’s the thing: no-one can fuckin see it. let me explain further

i live in a tiny flat in a big red brick building with huge windows. it has a driveway with two columns on either side - not a thing you usually see in this area. it is opposite a bus stop and several corner shops. it is on a main, busy road. most significantly, it is attached to a church. a well-known church with a big pink sign on the front.

all things that would make it easy to spot, right???? like if i gave that list of distinguishing features to someone along with my address then they’d be able to find my flat easily, right??? well APPARENTLY NOT

we have never once had a delivery to our flat (outside of the usual postal service) where we haven’t been called by a lost courier 

usually, they are about thirty seconds away. “i’m by the church and i don’t know where to go from here,” they say. so we tell them, “it’s the building right next to the church!! the one you’re outside. that church. it’s the next building along. it’s opposite a bus stop and it has a driveway with two big columns.” 

without fail, they call back 5-10 minutes later, still lost.

i have answered calls from both lost delivery people and friends where i’ve been able to see them standing in front of the driveway, from my window

a friend of mine once drove past my building three times, while on the phone to me, getting increasingly panicked that she couldn’t figure out where she was going. she parked in a nearby road and i had to walk to her car and guide her to the driveway

however, my flatmate and i found this place when we were flat-hunting first time, no trouble, and we don’t know what that means other than i guess this place chose us and the rent is so cheap because the estate agents were so relieved to find the first people in a thousand years who could actually see this fuckin building

today a food delivery person called me to say he was outside the church, was told to go to the next building along, (a 20 second journey on foot) and arrived at my door 20 minutes later, saying, “sorry, i went to the back of this building by mistake. weird right???”

Autumn was not in a good mood. At all. In general. It didn’t help when that one poster on the board would stick and she was too short to reach it. While waiting outside the store, she willingly glared at the poster whose tape was defective. Autumn tried jumping, smacking her hand at the bottom of the poster. She thought bitterly that Koda wouldn’t have a problem reaching this. In fact, he was the very reason she was out her with this unholy poster in the first place, cuddling into her jacket.

Suddenly a hand was on her shoulder and she was spinning around. A concerned women was the source of this hand. “Where are your parents?”

Oh.

Oh no.

Oh hell no.

“I am twenty, twenty. Not a child.” Autumn huffed, and she lady looked like she wanted to respond but then someone called to her.

“You coming, miss?” lo and behold, her dear Koda was offering a door for the lady. The lady, with a quick thank you, nodded and slipped inside,

“Koda, look at this poster. Look at it taunt me.” Autumn motioned to the poster, it’s corner still hanging from the wall. “Please, please get that.”

Koda hummed, standing beside her. He reached up, tall enough to pat down the wayward corner. He looked down at Autumn, and grinned. He picked her up, chuckling, “Get it, get it!”

Autumn smacked her hand against the cement, successfully pinning down the loose corner. Koda set her down, and she turned around. “Satan bless that paper.” She paused, “I may have high-fived the wall a little too forcefully.” The couple erupted into giggles, outside of a store, in front of a bulletin board.

The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom Chapter 8

Last time on The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom, Anika, scared and nervous, had a dream of scary possibilities. With this, she wakes up, going into labor not even a second after! Luckily, the doctor assists her during the birth. King Aireth heard the commotion and sent a servant to see what's going on, only to be told that the Anika was in labor. After quite some time, the baby was born-oh wait? Yes, there is not just one baby there surprisingly are two! A baby boy and girl! With this beautiful moment in peace, another thing formed in between the doctor and Anika. Lets see what happens now.

Anika is currently resting in her cell, the doctor right by her side anytime he's needed. Her worries fill her head, but the doctor won't allow any such fear of Anika's to overcome what could be a precious beginning for them. The doctor had managed to make a crib for the babies, which both of them are in the same crib together to keep better watch on them. King Aireth on the other hand, has figured out what he is going to do, and he is prepared and knows the doctor won't be pleased, not even for a second, but he doesn't care.

Anika:**in a tired voice* I can't believe I made it...8 hours...this is crazy...

Doctor:*Yes, but you're remarkable. You can do amazing things. You must believe in yourself more than you do.

Anika:*I'll try, but I'm the fallen angel of doubt. It'll be hard.

Doctor:*Then I'll do my best to change that doubt to confidence, and support you any way possible.

Anika:**blushes a little* Th-thank you.

Doctor:*It's no problem. Also, when I was cleaning your son, I calculated his average growth rate. It turns out he's not your daughter's twin.

Anika:*What?! They were born 10 minutes apart though!

Doctor:*Yes, but because they are two different species, they would've had to be arriving from the womb at the same time. They are only siblings. Your son is also a rare pure full blooded demon, meaning that he is actually 2 years old, not a newborn unlike your daughter who is a newborn.

Anika:*Oh wow, ok.

Doctor:*Is there any names you have for these two little ones?

Anika:*Hmm...how about Hanabi for my daughter, and Zero for my son?

Doctor:*I like the names, but what brings you to choose such rare ones?

Anika:*I chose Hanabi, because I believe Lord Shiagara Leitrice would approve very well of it, and because it's the name of his favorite flower that is his favorite fruit.

Doctor:* Lord Shiagara Leitrice, the lord of the Angel realm, and one of the major creators of this very dimension?!

Anika:*Yes, I care for him very much, and knowing him, he would've been honored to have relation to the names of one of my children. I chose the name Zero to reflect my son's nature, a kind and mature boy who like no chaos at all.

Doctor:*Amazing!

Anika:*You really think so?

Doctor:*Of course!

Anika:*I would've been scolded for flirting, but I can't help it. I'm glad you find my unique naming amazing, but that's exactly what I think you are. You're amazing.

Doctor:**blushes* Um...Ms. Anika...

Anika:*Please, just Anika is okay with me too. Still, yes?

Doctor:* Alright Anika...I-I would like to seal this peaceful moment with you.

Anika:**blushes* Y-you mean?!

Doctor:*Y-yes...I would like to..kiss you, o-only if you're okay with it. I love you Anika.

Anika:*I-I love you too...and, I-I don't mind at all...

*Anika and the doctor look straight into each other's eyes and begin to move closer, their lips getting closer to sealing this moment forever. Their lips are only a centimeter away*

Servant:*Doctor, King Aireth needs to see you immediately.

*Both the doctor and Anika are startled and immediately stop and pull away, no moment was sealed right then and there*

Doctor:*Yes, I shall see him immediately.

Servant:*He also said to bring the baby with you.

*The servant leaves*

Anika:*What?! If he knows about-

Doctor:*Don't worry, we'll keep Hanabi a secret, he only needs to know about Zero.*He gently picks up and holds Zero as he said this*

Anika:*Okay, only if you're sure.

Doctor:*I'll do my best. *Leaves with Zero*

**In the throne room**

King Aireth:*I should spite Anika...*sighs*a brat to take care of is not in my care or interest. It better be a boy at least or else-*There is a knock at the door* Come in!

Doctor:**Comes in the room with Zero* I am here Aireth.

King Aireth:**sees the baby in the doctor's arms and growls horribly* What is THAT?!

Doctor:*This BABY, is your child.

King Aireth:*That's some lie you got on your tongue, how about I get it off?

Doctor:*Then you'll be wasting your time for what is on my tongue is nothing but truth, weather you like it or not.

King Aireth:*That weak little worm is NOT my child!

Doctor:*Want a DNA test? Honestly, there's no point because you're the only one here who impregnated Ms. Anika because of your disgusting thirst for entertainment, pleasure, and chaos. Now you have a future heir and you neglect the obvious?!

King Aireth:*I never wanted a child in the first place! Besides, I sense nothing but weakness, disgrace, and pity in his future.

Doctor:*Are you sure you're not talking about yourself here?

King Aireth:*Oh shut it already! Facts, NOW!

Doctor:**sighs* The baby is a boy, he is a rare, pure, full blooded demon-

King Aireth:*WHAT?! What is the useless worm doing with my father's blood?!

Doctor:*I don't know. He is two years old right now, and the mother has named the baby Zero.

King Aireth:**grunts at the name*

Doctor:*That is all that is known right now.

King Aireth:*Fine, now take care of the little brat and keep it away from my sights so I don't ever see it again.

Doctor:*....Fine. You were nothing but a useless son to your father anyways. I should've known you wouldn't be any better as a father too. *Leaves*

**The doctor then immediately goes back to the cell and gives Zero back to Anika**

Anika:*How did it go?

Doctor:*Nothing out of what I had expected from him. The good thing is that everything will be fine as long as Aireth only knows about Zero and not Hanabi...

*Even though King Aireth knows about Zero, he feels the need to deal with Anika, so he heads to the cell chambers to settle things with her*

Anika:*I'm scared and terribly worries about Hanabi. What would happen if King Aireth found out about her?

Doctor:*I'd think of something to help you. I told you Anika, I'll do anything I can to help you, Zero, and Hanabi.

Anika:**smiles gently* Thank you...

Doctor:*It's no problem, I'll do anything for you because I love you.

Anika:*I love you too...

King Aireth:*What is going on in here?!

Doctor:*Aireth, what are you doing here unannounced?!

King Aireth:**In an angry voice* I was going to settle matters with Anika. What is going on?! Why are you here doctor, why am I hearing "I love you"s from you two, and WHY is there a SECOND CHILD here?!

Anika:*Please King Aireth, let me explain-

King Aireth:*I DON'T WANT TO HEAR NO MESS FROM YOU!

* In rage and anger, he grabs Hanabi by the neck, uses dark magic on her, and throws her to the wall. Hanabi loses a lot of blood, then falls to the floor, crying terribly from the pain. King Aireth was about to intentionally step on her head, but the doctor stops him, fighting him as best he can, punching, kicking, and throwing dangerous chemicals on him. He tried using magic on him, which held him back a few times, but King Aireth punched the doctor so hard, blood immediately bursted from his mouth and where he was hit.

King Aireth, used magic on Anika, punched and kicked her repeatedly, and threw her to the wall, but this time he pinned her to the wall, and forced himself on to her, kissing her as she kicked him. He forced himself in between her legs, ripping off her clothes and taking off his bottoms. The doctor, with a flamming rage within him, used his magic to strike King Aireth repeatedly, causing him to get off of Anika, and Anika drops to the floor, immediately running to Hanabi, seeing what she can do about her injury.*

Doctor:*LEAVE AIRETH! NOW!

King Aireth:*FINE! KNOW THIS, ANIKA AND THE LITTLE GIRL WILL BE EXECUTED IMMEDIATELY WHEN I GIVE THE WORD TOMORROW! DOCTOR, YOU WILL BE PUNISHED BY HARSH RULE, AND IF DECIDED, I WILL HAVE YOU KILLED TOMORROW!

*King Aireth angrily leaves the cell chambers, going back to the throne room*

Doctor:*Are you two okay?

Anika:**Is healing Hanabi as best as she can* I'll be fine, but I hope Hanabi will survive. King Aireth almost killed her...are you okay?

Doctor:*Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Let me see what I can do for Hanabi.

*The doctor looks at Hanabi and tries to heal her, using everything he knows to stabilize her condition. It works, but now one of Hanabi's blue eyes turn red. Anika immediately holds Hanabi close to her, cuddling her, trying to comfort her and calm her down. Eventually poor Hanabi falls asleep. Zero falls asleep in the crib, and the doctor is thinking about what is the safest for Anika and her children.*

Anika:**in a whispering voice* What are we going to do?

Doctor:**whispers back* I'm going to get you two out of here. Zero can stay with me.

Anika:*What?! Shouldn't Zero come with us too?

Doctor:*I'll raise Zero. You and Hanabi are in grave danger here, you two can't stay. King Aireth won't harm Zero. He needs an heir and he knows it, so he'll use Zero, but he won't take care of him. He doesn't want no daughter to raise, and he's already mad at you for giving birth and producing a daughter even though that wasn't your fault. I'll get you two out of here, raise Zero, and that will be all I can do, and your safest bet...

Anika:**tears are falling from her eyes, she's trembling, scared for Hanabi, and is having trouble calming down*....

Doctor:**gently hugs Anika, rubbing her back, trying to calm her down* Please don't cry Anika. It hurts and upsets me too, but I'm doing this because I want the best for you two. I also want you two to live. It'll be okay, everything will be okay....

Ever since that moment, the doctor had Anika get some rest, while he plans an escape route for her and Hanabi to safely take out of the kingdom the up coming night. Things are getting dangerous as King Aireth is also planning for execution and the doctor's punishment for tomorrow. Such tragedies and fate are to soon collide, but that is to be continued on the next chapter of The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom.

The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom Chapter 7

Last time on The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom, the doctor had attended a meeting with the king. Not very pleased to see the doctor, he doesn't listen to what has to be discussed, the conversation ending with a headache, and a settled, but slightly disappointed doctor. The doctor then goes to attend a daily check up progress with Anika and the offspring. After the check up, the result brings worry and shock to them both. Let's see what happens next.

Some days have passed, and Anika is in her cell room resting. She is very worried about when she will be due after finding out about the wild and sudden trimester transition some days back. She doesn't know what species the baby will be, its gender, or anything about it. Thinking about this slightly disturbs her sleep, but she does her best to push it aside. Anika's dreams usually scare her, though they're never real, but this time things may be different for her dreams...

Nurse: *Push Ms. Anika, you're almost there!

Anika:**screams and pushes again*

Nurse:*Breathe!

Anika:**Tries to resist the urge to sub come to letting her muscles contract, which makes her push, and does her best to breathe*

Nurse:*You're doing good Ms. Anika, keep breathing.

Anika:**Is extremely tired, and starts breathing heavily* We've been at this for hours, and I'm so tired...I don't know if I...can...

Nurse*Just keep going, this'll be over soon. Are you ready?

Anika:* I don't know...I'm so tired and I...I can't.....*starts struggling to keep going* I can't I can't I can't I can't!...It hurts too much...I'm so tired...I won't make it...

Nurse: *Keep thinking like that and you'll have more difficulty. You're doing just fine. Take a deep breath, and push. Then after a while, it'll all be over.

Anika:*...Alright.*Takes a deep breath, and pushes again, but this time, an extreme weight presses on her heart weight, making it harder for her to supress the current condition, making her scream in worse than agony**She suddenly feels week, and close to passing out* I can-*passes out, and dies*

Nurse:* Ms. Anika!

**Anika abruptly wakes up with tremendous pain. She looks down and sees that her water broke. She's alone, scared, and doesn't know what to do. The doctor didn't get this far into the plan. She tries to calm down, but screams in pain again, only this time the doctor was ironically in the cell chambers, and heard Anika. The doctor runs to her, going into her cell, and keeping her company, helping her prepare. Meanwhile, King Aireth heard Anika's screaming all the way from the throne room. He had ordered a servant to see what the ruckus was about. The servant had done exactly what she was told, and gave word that Anika was in labor. King Aireth wasn't pleased with the news and was pondering what he would do to her when the baby was born. He remembered that he needed an heir, but he doesn't want to care for the baby either. Going back to Anika and the doctor, Anika was prepared, and the doctor was assisting the birth.**

Doctor:**speaking gently* Now Ms. Anika, just breathe.

Anika:**breathes, trying to concentrate*

Doctor:* Alright, 1...2...3...push!

Anika:**pushes*

Doctor:*You're almost there, just one more push Ms. Anika!

Anika:**pushes once more, a horribly loud scream follows not even a second after*

*A cry of a baby can be heard, but Anika's muscles contract once again after 10 minutes*

Doctor:*Push Ms. Anika, don't give up on me!

Anika:**pushes once more. Her body is worn out, and she doesn't even scream despite the pain from screaming so much before then. Tears are running down her face like waterfalls that had formed before. She had lost her sanity slightly and wants to give up, but the doctor refuses to lose her. She feels as if she'll die from passing out after the second baby will be born*

*Her thoughts are interrupted when she hears crying of another baby*

Doctor:**cuts the baby's cord and does all following procedures that lead to cleaning the baby up, then comes back with the baby, giving both babies to Anika* Congratulations Ms. Anika! You have given birth to a healthy baby pure full blooded rare demon boy, and a baby girl. The only thing is that I don't know what species she is. She's a mixture of all the species in this dimension, making her a legendary rare species. I also think that you shockingly survived this birth because of your daughter. Her species correlated to you being an angel and fallen angel, which saved you.

Anika:* My daughter's species will forever now be called a spirit because in legendary myths, they called this type of happening a spirit either way.

Doctor:*Well that makes sense. Alright. Congratulations on your spirit baby girl!

Anika:**lightly giggles* Thank you.

Doctor:**chuckles* Now lets get you settled to heal from this. You are a special and rare fallen angel. You belong in history, your children too. I'm very impressed.

Anika:**blushes* It's not really that important, but thank you so much. I really enjoy your presence and company. You're a special doctor, and I wish to stay with you.

Doctor:**blushes* Th-thank you, I'm glad to know you feel this way. *gently lays his hands on hers*

From that moment, the doctor and Anika have bloomed a special bond between these two. Things couldn't have felt any better than right then and there. Now the children will grow, but more challenges face them than the current amount from before. Stay tuned, for The Spirit of the Dark Kingdom has just begun.

The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom Chapter 6

Last time we left off, Anika had announced to the king that she was carrying his offspring. He wasn't pleased, so he tried to end Anika only to be told off by his old friend, the royal doctor. The royal doctor then took Anika with him to her cell, and he made her cell a little better for her to stay in. Let's see what happens next.

Anika seems to be in her first trimester, and she is having quite a bad time. Her nausea effect is adding on to her dizziness, drowsiness, sore throat and stomach pain. On a few occasions, her eyesight blacks out, and she'll pass out. Luckily the royal doctor checks up on her daily. Ever since that encounter with the king, the royal doctor keeps an eye out for him when Anika is around. Today the royal doctor arranged a scheduled time to speak with the king before he continues his daily visit with Anika.

Doctor:*Knocks on the door*

King Aireth: Come in.

Doctor:*Walks in* Good day Aireth.

King Aireth:*Makes an unpleasant face* Grr...good day...doctor.

Doctor: Oh come on Aireth, wipe that nonsense off your face, and actually face me already. Don't make me discuss a few words with you. You know I won't hesitate to do so either. Get rid of that pouty little boy attitude/grudge you got and act like a man, a fit king for once. It's pathetic.

King Aireth: Hmph!

Doctor: Be mad at me all you want, but that won't stop me from making you try to grow up, and getting ready for the new heir's arrival. Now back to what we originally planned to do. As the father of the child your responsibilities are to-

King Aireth:*Yawns and groans* When will this boring lesson end already?!

Doctor:*On purposely clears his throat, and speaks in a tone that let's the king know that he's getting pretty annoyed* Problem?

King Aireth:*Ignores the royal doctor's tone* Yes! The problem is that I don't want to hear this and I'm bored.

Doctor:*Notices his warning was ignored and speaks in a reasoning tone* Aireth I know as a child you had always hated your studies, but this is a very important matter to be discussed and handled very thoroughly. Please, just listen to me carefully and we can settle between the options we have so things go smoothly. Let's try this again. The role of the father's responsibilities who is the king must be taken seriously. The responsibilities are-

King Aireth:*Intentionally groans and interrupts the doctor* Can you get any more boring?! I don't want to hear this. Whatever those ridiculous nonsense, ludicrous, useless roles are, I'm not doing it.

Doctor:*Uses a dangerous warning tone* Your majesty, we have been over this already-

I DON'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING! *Wears himself out, and now his head hurts* I...I...oh, my head.

Doctor:...Are you done?

King Aireth: How dare you sass me! I...oh, my head.

Doctor: Look, I'm just gonna say this much. If you refuse to do your part, I'm gonna press down to extreme measures, maybe even ones that are more harsh than you. You will place in fair amount of your part. You will learn not to raise your voice at me, and I will comply. I was going to let you know that you will get a headache, and tire yourself out if you kept on yelling, but seeing as you didn't want me interrupting you, I didn't.

King Aireth: W-why didn't y-you...

Doctor: You said not to interrupt you. You give the commands, orders, you call the shots, you're the king after all, so I did as you commanded. Now, I'm gonna get a maid to help you, and I'm gonna leave now. *Walks out of the room, and comes across a maid*

Maid: Why, good day doctor. What's wrong?

Doctor: Nothing is wrong with me, but the king needs your assistance. It seems as if the king developed a headache. Please be a dear and help our king out.

Maid: O-Oh my! I will assist him at once!

Doctor: Thank you. Now, I shall be attending Ms. Anika at once. *Walks to Anika's cell and stands in front of it* Ms. Anika. Ms. Anika? *Cautiously looks in the cell* Oh, she's asleep. Well, I know it's rude to just barge in but, for Ms. Anika's sake and her health, she needs to accompany her daily appointment. *Opens cell door and walks in**Gently taps her shoulder and whispers* Ms. Anika...Ms. Anika. Please wake up, I want to make sure you're okay.

Anika: Mmh...Doctor? What are you doing...in...here?

Doctor: I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to intrude. It's just...

Anika: Oh, it's okay. Shall we go ahead and get this over with? *Smiling playfully*

Doctor: Yes, heheh, let's. *Smiles back*

Anika: What's the result so far doctor, will I stop having nausea by the second trimester?

Doctor:.......um.

Anika: What's wrong?

Doctor: You're actually in your third trimester...

Anika: What?! When did I...

Doctor: You're carrying offspring of a different species. Timing does differ. This surprised me too actually. Well all I can tell you is that the day after your third trimester finishes, you'll be due.

Anika:...Oh geese...can you at least tell me if it's a boy or girl?

Doctor:........I can't figure out which it is. By now I should be able to tell, but...I can't.

Anika: Can you tell which species is it?!

Doctor:..........no...

The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom Chapter 5

Last time, Anika was feeling extremely ill, so she was going to see the royal doctor for help. Along the way, the maids she came across were acting strange around her saying that they sensed her aura was quite "unique". She then made it to the royal doctor's room, only to find out that she's carrying the king's child. Let's see what will happen next.

Anika was still in the doctor's room. She was distressed as ever as she was thinking of what the king was going to do to her. The royal doctor, worried for her health, and the baby's, was trying to calm her down.

Doctor: Please Ms. Anika, you must calm down. It isn't good for you, or the baby to be stressed.

Anika: How can I stay calm at a time like THIS?! The king is going to kill me!

Doctor: If it is anything I know about the king, it's that I know how to talk to him. If he does, I'll be able to help you. You're going to have to tell the king eventually. I'll come with you, you'll be okay.

Anika:...Fine. Only because I trust you. Let's go tell him.

Doctor: Good. Now, let's get you up on your feet. Are you feeling ok?

Anika: I'm doing better.

Doctor: Great! *Helps Anika up on her feet* Let's go.

The royal doctor, and Anika head to the king's throne room, where he would currently be in. Anika is extremely scared, because she knows what happened to the last couple that started a family. They told everyone that he killed the baby with his bear hands! All the citizens listened closely when they said DON'T start a family. They were forced to work in their condition with missing limbs. After a few days, they died, and the king didn't even bother to have a funeral for them. If he would do that to people who were just trying to be happy, what would he do to a citizen in the same class who is "with child"? They finally made it to the king's throne, and before they knock, they were whispering behind the door.

Doctor: Ms. Anika, you must break the ice to him, you must talk to him, understand?

Anika: Why must I have to be the one to suffer the cold until it shatters?

Doctor: This is the king's child you're carrying. He won't be very pleasant if his female he took from the outside hides things from him, and someone else must tell him. Remember, I'm only coming along to talk to him if his intentions towards you heads on bad terms, and he wants to demolish you. This is between you, and him.

Anika:*sighs* Ok. *Knocks on the door*

King Aireth: Come in.

Anika: *Walks in with the doctor* G-good evening, your majesty.

Doctor: Good evening, Aireth.

King Aireth: Ah, Doctor, Anika, what a pleasant surprise.

Anika:*Thinks: "It won't be pleasant for long."*

King Aireth: What brings you here, especially with the doctor, Anika?

Anika: Y-your majesty, I bring news to you. It is something that I must inform you of. The doctor is only assisting me.

King Aireth: Oh? What is it that you feel the need to inform me of?

Anika: I......*looks at the doctor*

Doctor: *Nods yes*

Anika:* Looks at King Aireth*...I am "with child", your child.

King Aireth:.........*Summons the family blood spear* We can fix that. I don't really NEED to have you anymore.

Anika:*Starts panicking*

Doctor: Aireth, no! You mustn't!

King Aireth: I must.

Doctor: Think about it, you reckless child!

King Aireth: !!!!!

Doctor: I've been your doctor ever since you were born. I KNOW how to talk to you. Growing up, you were nothing BUT reckless. You still are too! I'm not going to beat around the bush for you, you're a grown man, take the medicine head on! You are going to die someday. You NEED to be trying to raise a child properly, to become the next heir when it's time for you to pass down the family crown! What, are you going to let the crown never be passed down, and let the kingdom be ruled by a pile of ASHES AND REMAINS?! Are you?!

King Aireth: No, but I-

Doctor: There are NO excuses for this matter. It doesn't matter if you don't want a child to raise, you need an heir, who was brought up correctly. Not just another reckless child who doesn't know the FIRST THING TO RULING A KINGDOM! I will NOT allow you to kill this maiden! You will help with the pregnancy.

King Aireth: Why?! I don't-

Doctor: I don't care! You are the one who caused this, you are the one who will help her. I'll provide support and keep track on the baby, but that's it.

King Aireth:........I will not-

Doctor: Who in the world ever said that you had a choice?! No one-

King Aireth: YOU WILL NOT TALK TO ME IN SUCH A MANNER! YOU WILL NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO, AND-

Doctor: YOU WILL NOT INTERRUPT ME LITTLE BOY! YOU WON'T TELL ME WHAT YOU WILL AND WON'T DO! YOU ARE A RECKLESS BOY AT 22 YEARS, I AM OF 53 YEARS! YOU WILL RESPECT THAT I AM TALKING TO YOUR IDIOTIC BEHIND, AND YOU WILL DO AS I SAY! I KNOW MY JUDGEMENT IS RIGHT BECAUSE, IF YOU REALLY KNEW THAT I WASN'T CORRECT... *Raises his hands up making himself become an open target* YOU WOULD KILL ME RIGHT NOW! COME ON, DO IT, KILL ME RIGHT NOW, I DARE YOU!

King Aireth:...........

Doctor: THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT! YOU KNOW THAT I'M RIGHT! ...You WILL help raise this child, for it is you who is at fault for putting this maiden through such pain.

King Aireth: She isn't in any pai-

Doctor: She is not a demon like you. She is a fallen angel. Now, Aireth...what do you want me to do with your child's barer?

King Aireth: Doctor, please take her to her cell.

Doctor: Yes, your majesty. Let's go now Ms. Anika.

Anika:...Yes sir.

The royal doctor, and Anika left the room, and the doctor made her cell to the point where it was much better for her to be in. He also told her that she is able to come to his room whenever she needs him, and he would be more than glad to help her out. Then the royal doctor waited until Anika was asleep before he left to his room. The king was angry, shocked, and very lost. He didn't know how to feel about his old doctor calling him out, and daring him to kill him. All he knew was that he needed some time to cool down.

The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom Chapter 4

Last time we left off, the king was having a difficult time controlling his heat. When he thought he got rid of his heat, he was bored, so he sent his squire and knight on a quest to find a pure female peasant, or a "maiden" that could "entertain" him. Afterwards the poor maiden named Anika, feeling disgusted, lived with the king inside of a chamber, only to become sick to her stomach a few weeks later. Why does she feel sick all of a sudden? What will happen to this beautiful maiden? Let's find out.

Anika, who was still feeling sick as ever, was walking towards the room where the royal doctor was to see if he could help figure what was making her so ill. As she was walking there, she came across multiple maids who said some "interesting" things.

Maid 1: Why hello, Ms. Anika. How are you today?

Anika: Hello, and no, I'm not feeling really good today.

Maid 1: Oh, dear. That isn't good at all. Maybe the royal doctor can help you out.

Anika: Yes, I believe that too, that's why I'm heading there now.

Maid 1: Great! Though, if I'm not mistaking something else here, you do kind of smell like the king.

Anika: Smell like the king? I took a shower before hand though.

Maid 1: Hm...I can tell that you took a shower, you look amazing as always, but that's not the idea of "smell" I'm getting at-!!!!

Anika: What is it, what's wrong?!

Maid 1: Uh...I-I just uh, f-forgot! I n-need to um, complete the king's request, o-or he'll have my h-head. Y-yeah, that's it! See you l-later Ms. Anika.

Anika: See you later...

Maid 1: *leaves*

Anika: That was awkward...I know the maids are afraid to slip up once, but that reaction wasn't from that...it was almost as if the maid realized something I don't know about. Oh well, maybe I'll figure it out later.

Anika continued on her little journey to the royal doctor's room, she came across two more maids, who looked joyful as ever.

Maid 2 and 3: Good day, Ms. Anika!

Anika: Good day to you both.

Maid 2: How are you feeling today?

Anika: I'm not really doing so good today.

Maid 3: You poor girl, you must see the royal doctor, he'll make you much better for sure.

Anika: I believe that too, so that's why I'm headed there right now.

Maid 2: !!!!!

Maid 3 and Anika: What's wrong?

Maid 2: N-nothing! I-I must be imagining things, but y-your aura captures a bit of the king in it...

Maid 3:*looks at Anika* Y-yeah, I can sense it too...

Maid 2: Sorry Ms. Anika, but we need to uh, complete our orders.

Maid 3: Y-yes! W-we can't slip up!

Anika: O-ok, see you later then...

Maid 2 and 3: *leaves*

Anika:...Them too? Oh well...

Anika finally arrives at the royal doctor's room, a little nervous about seeing him.

Anika:*knocks on the door*

Doctor: Come in.

Anika: *walks in the room* Hello.

Doctor: Ah, Ms. Anika! What a delight. Please, tell me what's going on. How are you?

Anika: I'm not doing too well actually, so I came to see you, hoping you could help me figure this ou- HURK!!! *quickly covers her mouth*

Doctor:*makes a circular motion on her back with his fingers until her nausea passes* Ok, I'll help ya, but I can already tell you what's going on just by looking and smelling you.

Anika: W-what's going on then?

Doctor: Well, first of all, you scent from your aura is dramatic. You have a good amount of the king's aura on you. Second of all, I can look at you and be able to tell that you're not a demon, or from this kingdom originally. That mark on your neck gives away the fact you're an angel that moved kingdoms, now making you a fallen angel. That's why you're even more nauseous than sea sick, you have a mixture of your opposite race in ya. There is a chance after a while, once you carry through with uh, the time you owe, you may become weak to point where you die, or you'll become extremely sick to the point where you die from spilling out your guts. Literally. Overall, I say congrats!

Anika: Congrats? For what, losing a part of myself to the king, becoming a fallen angel, being snooped out by you?

Doctor: No, no, and no. If the king didn't realize that you're a fallen angel by now, he didn't listen to me. My approval is going to the fact that you're "with a demon child". *points to her stomach*

Anika: "With child"? I'm PREGNANT?! With the king's child?!

The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom Chapter 3

Time has passed in The Dark Kingdom, and King Aireth has become 22 years old. The rules in the kingdom haven't ever been broken ever since the two lowest class citizens tried to start a family. One day, King Aireth couldn't understand what was wrong with him, little did he know he would end up "chasing the string that would soon betray him and tie him up".

King Aireth: *growling and panting* W-why is it so hot?! I was just fine b-before then...and this feeling I have...grrrrrrRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! WHAT IS THIS FEELING?! *sighs* No, I'll just wait it out, it shouldn't be that bad.

--------------------[2 Hours Later]------------------------

King Aireth: F-finally, I think it's over...but now I'm pretty bored somehow...

Squire:*Knocks on the door*

King Aireth:*sighs* Come in.

Squire:*Walks in* S-sire, a-are you alright?

King Aireth: Why would it matter to you?

Squire: I-I was t-told that a maid heard...n-noises...coming from here. As s-soon as I took care of my order, I immediately came to see if you are okay.

King Aireth: The last two hours were nothing but a waste of time. *sighs*

Squire: What's wrong sire?

King Aireth: I'm bored, and I feel...like I was earlier, so I'm going to give you an order.

Squire: Your majesty, may I not stay to accompany-

King Aireth: NO YOU MAY NOT, I WILL GIVE YOU AN ORDER, AND YOU WILL NOT TALK BACK!!

Squire: Y-yes, your majesty.

King Aireth: Good. Now, I want you and a knight to fetch me a female peasant. Now just any female, I want a female that is quiet, respectful, WON'T talk back, and is the most beautiful in all of the kingdom, even more beautiful than the most precious water crystal in the kingdom. Now, go, and don't come back until, you have fulfilled this order.

Squire: Yes, your majesty. *leaves*

The squire went to the part of the castle where the knights were training, and picked a knight to accompany him in the quest. They had a lot of trouble searching for a fair maiden, for all of the maidens acted a certain way. Thirty minutes later, they found a maiden named Anika, who was a truly fair maiden, so they seized her, ad took her to the king.

Squire:*Knocks on the door*

King Aireth: Come in, only if you have done what I ordered you to do. Don't come in if you have not completed your instructions.

Squire: *Walks into the room with the maiden and the knight* I have completed your instructions your majesty.

King Aireth: Good, Now leave! The female stays here with me.

Squire: Your majesty, what-

King Aireth: I SAID LEAVE, NOW!

Sqiure: Y-yes, your majesty. *Leaves the room along with the knight*

King Aireth:*sighs*...What is your name?

Anika: *Deathly shaking* G-Good evening, your m-majesty. M-my name i-is Anika.

King Aireth: Anika...come here.

Anika:*Walks to the king*

King Aireth: I'm bored and you are going to "entertain" me without talking back, do you understand?

Anika:*Nods* Ye-mmh

King Aireth:*Kisses Anika*mmh

King Aireth: Heheh, I like you Anika. I might just keep you here in my castle, and you can stay with me. Tell the maids that I said to make you some clothes. Come meet me once you have cleaned up.

Anika: Y-yes your majesty. *Leaves*

Once Anika had left, she ran to the bathroom and threw up immediately, feeling extremely disgusted with herself

because she lost a part of her to the king, changing the innocent part of her forever.

The king decided to keep her with him, though he refused to marry her, he let her stay in a dungeon cell to live in as her room. Time had passed ever since and Anika has been feeling sick to her stomach. "Food poisoning?" she thought, but it wasn't that. It was something much more...

The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom Chapter 2

When we left off, we learned that young Aireth Markiaru was supposed to be crowned by his parents, until he finds out that his parents felt that he was not ready to be a king. In rage and angst, he killed his parents, took the crown, and became king. Let's see what happens next.

The new king was arranging the positions and classes for his new subjects. He had came up with this so far...

King- The king will rule all of the land. He shall also control what the citizens do, and make all orders promptly.

Knights- The knights shall do as told, only when commanded by the king. If something was to happen to a knight (gets sick or injured), they will be sent to be a servant, and never to become a knight ever again.

Servant- The servants work inside the castle. They are to follow all orders the king gave to them, and they have a privilege to push around the peasants.

Peasants- The peasants are the most unappreciated level class citizens. They are pushed around, work outside, stay outside, and can't get any health and care products, for example, medicine. They are to follow the king's, knight's, and servant's orders, if they talk back they will be killed automatically.

Pleased with these new rules, he published them. All of the citizens in their class were working immediately. Though, as time passed, his squire came up with a question that he wouldn't have seen coming.

Squire:*Knocks on the door*

King Aireth: Come in.

Squire:*Walks in* Good evening, your majesty.

King Aireth: Ugh, what is it?

Squire:*jolts a little from the king's sharpness* I-I arrive with a question-

King Aireth: From WHO?

Squire: F-From me, y-your majesty. I-

King Aireth: Well then, spit it out! What is it?!

Squire: I was wondering about...children, and-

King Aireth: CHILDREN?! HA! Do not be foolish, my worthless squire. I have no intent for such a pain in the butt little worm. Why would you ask such an idiotic question?

Squire:...........

King Aireth: Tell me, NOW.

Squire: There is a child born in...the lowest class level.

King Aireth: WHAT?! BRING ME THE CHILD, AND THIER PARENTS!

Squire: Y-yes, your majesty. Also, if you won't allow children in your kingdom...who shall be the new heir when you pass?

King Aireth:....Just go fetch me the outlaws.

Squire: Right away. *Leaves*

King Aireth: Hm...maybe, I won't need a new heir, I am a demon after all. Heh,what am I saying, OF COURSE I need a new heir! Hm...I just don't want a brat to take care of. If I did, I want a boy. Nothing more, or less. No measly girl shall rule my kingdom. Hm...

------------------[1 hour later]---------------------------

Squire:*Knocks on the door*

King Aireth: Come in.

Squire:*Walks in* Your majesty, I present to you, the outlaws.

Knight:*Walks in with the child, who is sound asleep, and the parents, who are shaking terribly**Pushes the parents, who are carrying the child, closer to the king, takes the baby from them, and gives it to the king*

King Aireth:*Gently puts his hand over the baby's face* Awwe, what do we got here, a baby. Something I won't allow in my kingdom. You two are peasants. You both are supposed to be working, not sneaking off CREATING A FAMILY! As for punishment, you two will have your arm, and toes cut off. You *points to the male* will also have something much more dire cut off in advance. That way, you can't create family ever again. Now, because neither one of you two talked back, I'm going to let you live. Though, when you go back, tell them that this will happen to their children if any one of you peasants create family ever again. *Hand grips the child's head with tremendous force, and crushes the child's had to nothing but pieces* You may be dismissed after your punishment has taken place.

Knight:*Takes the dead child's body away, along with the two citizens*

Squire: Excuse me, King Aireth-

King Aireth: I know what you're about to ask. My answer is I don't care.

From that day forward, the citizens of the peasant class never tried to create a family, or do anything else. King Aireth's heart went from grey to black in a matter of seconds as his hatred grew. He ruled the kingdom, but this time he became more harsh and strict on his methods. The Dark Kingdom has never been darker until now.

The Spirit of The Dark Kingdom Chapter 1

One day, a prince named Aireth Markiaru was being crowned king. The young prince was extremely overjoyed as he was getting dressed, and ready for the ceremony.

Prince Aireth: Finally! The day of reckoning has arrived! The day I take the crown to be king is here! I can't wait to rule over The Dark Kingdom. I have so much planned, yet there is very little time in the day to complete everything. *Starts to think* Hm...what shall I do first? Maybe I could-

Maid: *Knocks on the door*

Prince Aireth: Come in.

Maid: Excuse me Prince Aireth, but it is time for the ceremony to begin.

Prince Aireth: I shall head to the throne room at once. *maid leaves* It is time to go see father and mother.

Prince Aireth then went to the throne room to attend the ceremony. All the knights of the kingdom were standing in two rows, facing toward each other with swords raised high up in the air, clinging against the other sword in front of them. The guest were in magnificent seats facing the front, waiting for the moment the young prince would be crowned. Prince Aireth then noticed his father, King Marcane, with his mother, Queen Ariela, both looking extremely nervous. When they noticed that Prince Aireth was in the room, they walked towards him, placing fake smiles on top of their worried ones.

King Marcane: My son, thank you for arriving promptly.

Queen Ariela: My son, I am glad to have seen you grown well. I am proud of you, and I do believe when crowned king, you will have good intentions towards the kingdom, correct?

Prince Aireth: No mother, I will not bring good intentions to this land of darkness, for I believe that is not what this kingdom needs to thrive. I believe that in order to contain this land, we shall need extreme force to place upon citizens, commands and cruelty is what keeps the kingdom sane, and I plan to keep those words when I am the new king. You and father shall not stand in my way.

The king and queen looked at each other in worry when Prince Aireth left his position. The ceremony begins, and everyone is in place. Music is playing joyfully, and the royal squire provided young Aireth with his robe he shall be crowned in. Prince Aireth is walking on the red carpet pathway under the swords of the knights, reaching the end of the room where his parents were. When he stood in the middle of his parents, he closed his eyes, and his father held the crown.

King Marcane: Today we gather for Queen Ariela and my son, Prince Aireth, for today he is crowned king, and he will rule our kingdom. Prince Aireth's crowning depends on his parents, his actions, and beliefs. Thank you all for arriving at our demon son's greatest moment of heritage.

King Marcane hovers the crown over Prince Aireth's head, shakes a little bit, then moves the crown back to him again, not crowning the young prince. Poor Aireth opens his eyes, confused and a little agitated, wondering what was happening.

Prince Aireth: Father, why have not you placed my crown upon my head?

King Marcane:...............

Prince Aireth: Father!

King Marcane:...............

Prince Aireth: FATHER, ANSWER ME-

King Marcane: YOU ARE NOT READY TO BE KING, FROM WHAT I HAVE GATHERED FROM YOU, YOU WILL NEVER EARN THIS CROWN FROM US BOY!!! YOU WILL NOT SPEAK TO ME IN SUCH A MANOR, AND YOU WILL NOT CLAIM THIS CROWN!!! Your mother and I talked about it, and we fairly decided that you are not ready to contain, but crush the harmony of this kingdom. We wish not for that.

Prince Aireth: I care not for what you wish. I care not for anyone, but I do believe in order. That is all that is needed.

Prince Aireth then looks around the throne room for any chance of escape of anger, but he finds something else. He runs and grabs his father's royal demon blood spear, and he brutally kills his mother and father with the spear. Making his parents parish. He then takes the crown his father had dropped, and placed it on his head, crowning himself as the new king.

King Aireth: As I said mother and father...you will not stand in my way. *Looks at his citizens* I am now king, no one can stop that. For now on as your new king, you all are to follow my rules and my beliefs! Anyone who disobeys shall be brutally punished by death. Now, return to your homes, and I shall decide what to do with each and every one of you! *Laughs evilly, and sits down in his new throne*

Ever since that day, the kingdom has been ruled by King Aireth and his cruel ways.

11 writing problems and solutions

Writing is a craft. It takes time for anyone to learn and improve. But there are some shortcuts you can try, maybe adapt to your own needs. Here are 11 writing problems and their solutions, or hacks.

Too many ideas syndrome

Problem: You have too many equally good story ideas and can’t pick just one to write.

Solution: Select your top 3 favorite stories and write the first scene of all three. If you can’t decide, write the first chapter. The right project will be easier to work with, you’ll have fun writing it, you will be daydreaming about the story, you will love the characters. So, give away three chances instead of one.

Outline spoiling the fun

Problem: Whenever you outline a story idea, it completely spoils your will to write it. The mystery is gone.

Solution: Instead of outlining the whole story, just make a clear goal on how your characters should end. Will they succeed? Will they fail? Will they be happy? Will they find redemption? Will they be wronged? Decide how your story should end and explore the plot as you go. Remember, no one will read your first draft, so just write.

Lost midway

Problem: If you are a pantser, you might get lost in the middle of the story, especially after the first plot point.

Solution: Give your story an ending. If you know where your characters will end up, you’ll have a better understanding of which routes to take. Always keep in mind how the story will end. Use it as the beacon of a lighthouse to guide you through stormy waters.

Creative block

Problem: You don’t have story ideas. Or nothing you have so far excites you enough for a novel.

Solution: Read a book or watch a movie completely out of your genre. This works like magic, I promise. I’m not a sci-fi person, but Akira has given me more story ideas than any movie and book from my own genre.

Writing anxiety

Problem: You are scared of writing, scared of starting a new story, or just scared of not doing a good job.

Solution: Write a fanfic. No one expects a fanfic to be a masterpiece (although many are). Fanfics are done for fun and for passion. So, write your book in fanfic format. You can even use fandom characters and aus in the process. When the story is completed, change back to original characters.

Editing as you write

Problem: You keep going back to previous paragraphs and editing instead of moving forward with your writing.

Solution: Write your novel by hand. This might sound like a lot of work, but it’s quite the opposite. The white screen of the computer urges you to review, to make it perfect, academic like perfect. The paper however, brings you back to the craft, to the urge of filling lines and pages. Handwriting also gives you the opportunity of sketching and doodling. 

Procrastination

Problem: Tumblr. Youtube. Email. Netflix. Bathroom. Fridge. Bed.

Solution: Go offline. Turn off your wi-fi. Use a device without internet connection. Or, if you keep fooling yourself and turning the internet back on, write your novel by hand. Give yourself a daily hour of internet, but live offline. And if you take unnecessary trips to the fridge or the bathroom, try the pomodoro technique.

Lack of plots

Problem: Nothing relevant is happening, your story looks kind of boring. Or the main plot is too weak for a whole novel.

Solution: Take a few days off. Just relax. When you are ready to go back, read what you have written so far. Maybe you were just tired. But, if the story really sucks, go back to basics. Ask yourself two questions. What type of story am I writing? How will this story end? Follow the answer like a map. Change what needs to be changed, even if you have to delete the whole progress. If you lack plots, don’t add fillers, just go back to basics.  

Weak main character

Problem: Your character lacks personality, voice and/or visuals.

Solution: Give your main character three things. An external battle. An internal battle. And an unique feature. The external battle is their goal, what they want to achieve, what they dream about. An internal battle is their fears, traumas, doubts, mental issues, prejudices and triggers to overcome. An unique feature is what sets them apart from other characters, maybe they have piercings, or tattoos, or pink hair, or lilac eyes, maybe they wear neon boots, or a mask, or mittens, maybe they are left-handed, or blind, maybe they have a scar, or a birthmark. Every amazing main character has external battles, internal battles and unique features.  

Depression

Problem: You have no will to write. The passion is gone. You feel empty.

Solution: If you don’t have access to medical help, reading is a good way to reevaluate your career and regain your passion for the words. Read lots of books. Don’t worry about writing, just read. Lose yourself in fictional adventures. Read sci-fi, romance, horror, fantasy, crime, family saga, classics, foreigner fictions, fanfics, shorts, poetry. Immerse in literature. Literature can save lives.  

Strange dialogues

Problem: Dialogues seem too formal, or too much like the narration, or characters lack individuality.

Solution: Read your dialogues out loud while acting as your characters. You can find a quiet empty room for that. Be an actor. Go for the emotions. Record your acting sections, after all, you might improvise at some point.
