Can someone who watched my hero academy please explain why exactly the liberation army is the big bad evil? Like ok their revolution is quite violent and there’s probably a better way for it but like, we’re not supposed to root for them right? Like the viewer is supposed to be on the heroes side?? Both togas and shigarakis backstory show how they have been failed at a young age because their power is seen as evil and disgusting, like that in itself kinda proves that the liberation army has a point doesn’t it. If these kids where properly taken care of and where allowed to use their power in a safe way without harming anyone, a lot of shit wouldn’t have happened. And that’s what the liberation army want, isn’t it? For everyone to be able to use their powers freely as a “god given” human instead of being oppressed and condemned for their powers right?

I’m just imagining, twice and shigaraki would’ve been amazing in the work force as construction workers, twice could provide a lot of labor in a way shorter and less physically straining time, and shigaraki can bring down a building in seconds. Toga could be an amazing body double/ impersonator, get these kids some actual support from the adults around them and the whole problem of the show wouldn’t exist. Why is it that the only place kids can learn to use their power safely and responsibly an elite highschool?

Their power seems to manifest at age 3-5, that’s over ten years of unsupported and unguided quirk use by literal kids who can set people on fire or turn them into dust. Like what else is there to do for those kids than become evil villains? A dangerous power+ abuse+ no support+ being a literal kid is like the perfect villain starter kit.

Either this is bad world building or an incredibly flawed and dangerous system, and the people who want to change that are the bad guys?

Like who’s side am I supposed to be on, who’s side is the author on, wtf is even going on, is this supposed to be an in-depth mirroring critique of our society and the system that creates it or just a random action movie plot line?

Chat they made Minecraft into a silly goofy cringe movie even through Minecraft is actually about life and earth and the universe and tearing meaning out of the ground and molding it with your hands into something that you can be proud of. They made the pink sheep look ugly and funny for a cheap laugh when it should’ve been a beautiful moment where you, age eleven, come across this rarity, this beautiful anomaly and you hold its face in your hands and stare into its chocolate brown eyes and you realize what the whole world is about. I love your beautiful mind but that was never the concept to begin with.

Of course the movie would be better if it was agressively queer and honest and angry but they would never do that. Steve and garrets relationship was just enough to bate queer people who seek representation and farm engagemt, just little enough to make no one upset, and really only there for laughs. The movie is based and written for what a bunch of middle aged people in a marketing room thought would make good memes, and Steve and garret where one of them. And I mean, it worked didnt it, the artificially created memes are the only memorable thing about the movie.

I belive that when they introduce Alex in the second movie Steve will inevitably end up with her. Mark my words, Minecraft yaoi never had a real chance to begin with.

The minecraft movie was fun I guess but I feel it would be 1000x better if we really honed in on the queerness and female rage and really hammered in the concept of “broke business owner finds a silly husband to bring companionship back into his life while overworked teen mom beats the crap out of zombies”

Wrong! While the intersex people are a group I can’t talk speak on behalf for, they are on the flag and a lot of them identify as queer. Aromantic people can be attracted to the opposite gender sexually and still be aromantic, therefore queer. Asexual people still can be attracted to the opposite gender romantically and still be asexual, therefore queer. Also!!! Asexual people can fuck people!! Demisexual/romantic people fall under the aroace umbrella, meaning they can be attacked physically or romantically to someone under the right circumstances, and might be straight.

By denying people under the asexual and aromantic (aspec) umbrella their place in the community, you yourself end up being queerphobic.

While yes I agree that the queer community is at dangers at any time, so are trans, aspec, intersex and genderqueer people. it’s not only about same sex attraction, and those people aren’t the only one at risk of violence and discrimination. If thats what you want, open your own gay and lesbian exclusive club. The queer community is for everyone who doesn’t fit the heteronormative binary, and denying that is just stupid.

Your argument makes you sound either homo/queerphobic yourself, uneducated or like a terf, and I don’t know if that’s the internet footprint you want to have, so maybe reconsider.

Guys. Straight trans people. That’s not a concept too hard to grasp. Straight intersex people. And like OOP said, Straight aromantic/asexual people!!! There are women who want to fuck men and men who want to fuck women in the Lgbtqai community!! Get over it!!
