Episode 2: First Day of School
In our last episode, we talked about my childhood; in this episode, I'm going to tell you about my first day of school.
I always wanted to go to school as a kid since that is what I see in my elder sister. It excites me to buy and prepare school supplies; whenever they go to the shop to get school supplies for my elder sister, I always want to accompany them and buy supplies for myself, even if I still don't attend school. Back then, my favorite game was roleplaying with my cousins in which we played as students, cutting paper into pieces and labeling it with the amount of money and distributing it to us as if it were our school stipend. We use it to buy food, items, and toys. When I was going to leave for school, which was my first day, I was so excited that I prepared my clothing the night before, and I even slept with my clothes by me. I even get up early in the morning to shower and eat breakfast. Traveling to school excites me because it allows me to meet new people, make new friends, and meet my teachers. But the moment I stepped inside the classroom, I became nervous. I wanted to cry in the classroom as my mother was about to leave, despite the fact that she would only wait for me outside till I finished my class. But, unlike my other classmates, who cry a lot, I kept my cool and told myself that I had to do it since I'd been dreaming of going to school since then, so I simply had to enjoy my first day at school. We had snack time after my first three subjects, which excites me since we used to play it with my cousins, and now I get to experience it in real life, where I have real money to spend on whatever I want. I even became friends with my seatmates and went buying food with them. After class, we went to Jollibee with my mother for lunch, and it is still my favorite, go-to food to this day. My feelings are consistent from the time I get up in the morning until I go to bed at night: I am happy, thrilled, and enjoy myself. That day was the happiest day of my life because my dream came true, and it was the best and most unforgettable event of my life. I'm overjoyed because I got to experience everything as a child. Whereas children these days are obsessed with devices, we are not. We had a lot of great experiences, such as playing outside, different types of street games, roleplaying, and so on. Everything we used to fantasize about became a reality up to this point, and it was the finest.

Everything You Need To Know About Me
This series is part of our Creative Nonfiction activities, and it is intended to give you a clear view of what Charls' life is like. It is expected that by the end of this blog series, you will have an idea or will know who Charls is. Join me in telling my readers about my journey.
Episode 1: Childhood
I got up early in the morning to stay outside till 8 a.m. because my grandmother told me that if you stay outside early in the morning, you would obtain vitamins and be motivated to start your day pleasantly and positively. We normally have breakfast around 8:30 a.m., so while I'm outdoors having fun in the morning sun, they're cooking and prepping our meals. My favorite breakfast is when my mother makes hotdogs and scrambled eggs; I don't know why, but I eat it every morning without getting sick of it. It's just one of my favorite foods. It's like gaining energy and vitamins from the morning sun every time I eat it; I feel joyful and energetic, and it helps me start my day. After I finish my meal, I normally spend some time in our living room watching cartoons while waiting for my stomach to be fully digested before having a shower. I rushed outdoors after taking a shower to play with my buddies. They sometimes don't let me play outdoors because it's raining or whatever, or just because they don't want me to. But I spent the most of my time playing with my buddies early in the morning. Cards, Habol-Habolan, Hide and Seek, Chinese Garter, Teks, Computer games, Lego, and Cars were among the games we played. These were the finest games I played as a kid. I've forgotten about the other games, but I'm quite sure I've played a few of them. Those were the finest years of my life, with no devices, no social media, and no toxic friends. Only the finest for you and your bestest of best buddies. We normally play at my friend's house; our previous location was fantastic since our houses formed a circle and all of my friends lived there, making it incredibly convenient for us to play because we live right next to each other's houses. When it's 11:30 a.m., you'll start hearing my grandmother's voices from outside yelling and calling our names because it's time for lunch. But sometimes my friend's mother gives us or allows us to eat with them for lunch, so I don't have to go home to eat. Every lunchtime, I would ask my mother to prepare Tinolang Manok or Fish for us, or if it wasn't tinola, anything with soup would suffice. For lunch, I enjoy eating dishes with soup. My grandmother compels us to sleep in the afternoon after lunch, and she always told us that if we didn't sleep, they wouldn't let us play in the afternoon. But I don't want to sleep since all I want to do after lunch is play with my friends. But I can't go since they've locked all the gates and entrances, making it impossible for us to escape. But, because I'm a tough child, I constantly sneak out to play with my buddies. When I was in Bulua, our gate was tall and the same height level as our bungalow house, but there was a little section way above our gate, so I would climb up to our gate and slip out only to play with my friends. However, they occasionally closed the doors to our room or my grandmother would stay with us to see that we were asleep. I always pretended to be sleeping till my grandmother left, so I always closed my eyes so that she believed I was sleeping until I was truly asleep and woke up at 3-4 p.m. But I don't regret it because if we slept in the afternoon, when we got up, they bought snacks for us, and if they had extra money, they sometimes bought Jollibee. After we finish our snacks, we go outside to play until it gets dark or it is time for dinner. Dinner with your family is entertaining because they have something to talk about that is both interesting and enjoyable. They occasionally asked about my day or my time spent outside with my buddies. And after we completed our dinner, my mother prepared my clothing for sleep. It typically takes me an hour to take a shower since I still play in the bathroom, so my mother entered the bathroom and scolded me for wasting the water by playing around. And such was my typical day as a child: no worries, no difficulties, and I had a good time from morning till evening.
Now that we’ve finished talking about the first episode of this "Everything You Need To Know About Me" series, stay tuned for the next episode, in which I will discuss the continuation of my narrative.

As face-to-face classes approach, there is a 50% chance that all schools in the Philippines will be permitted to perform face-to-face classes. As incoming freshmen, we got to experience everything from the worst to the greatest that you would need for your academic life. We've compiled a list of the top three back-to-school things that are both required and worthwhile to purchase in order to better your academic life. Which consists of a pen, scientific calculator, and a personal organizer.
1. Pen

Fine-Tech is the brand name for this pen. Having said that, it's common enough that I occasionally come upon them laying around, towards the margins of rooms or along the walls. I generally pick them up because they still have some ink left in them—most of the time, though, they're damaged, because people keep functioning pens in their bags or on their tables. I don't recommend the latter since pen thieves enjoy it when you leave your pen in such an exposed location, and this is coming from an experienced pen thief. I've never had to purchase a pen in all my years of schooling, except at the beginning, when I generally lose all my stolen pens and have to buy new ones from the market. But I'm digressing. These pens are fantastic. They're neat and simple, and it appears to contain more than your ordinary pen ink tube, despite the fact that the entire item is simply the ink tube-thing—or whatever it's called.
It also feels excellent in the hand. Unlike some other pen brands, they don't have the rubber tube around the point, and I think it's all the better for it. I don't enjoy having those rubber tubes on my pens since they get dirty after a while and I don't like the feeling. Instead of a rubber grip, it has a geometric, crystalline shaped-head that, while it takes some getting used to, does an excellent job of keeping your fingers from slipping forward and into the line of fire—metaphorically speaking, of course. The precise price of the Fine-Tech is 30 pesos, and you can acquire it at any National Book Store location. You may buy it not just at the National Book Store, but also at any department store or school supply boutique. Fine-Tech is less expensive than G-Tech; nevertheless, when the pen (G-Tech) falls to the ground, it can no longer be used; however, if the Fine-Tech falls to the ground, it can still be utilized. The pen's overall quality is exceptional for the price. It is unquestionably worthwhile to purchase for writing purposes.
2. Scientific Calculator

Everything improves in junior high school, including Filipino courses, English topics, and even mathematics. I thought elementary school mathematics was difficult, but junior high mathematics was even more difficult. I am now in my senior year, and mathematics is constantly improving, so you really need a companion, which is what I will discuss; the Scientific Calculator. Calculator, as we all know, makes it easy for people to conduct math operations. For example, most calculators can add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Scientific Calculator, on the other hand, is capable of answering even the most challenging problems. It also helps the learner to spend more time understanding the topic because it is broken down into smaller pieces. It is an excellent calculator. It has a four-line display of all scientific equations and formats, and it can solve as derivative, depreciative, trigonometry, vector cross product, and dot product, among other things. It is extremely useful for mathematics calculations as well as physics calculations. This Scientific Calculator Casio FX-991ES Plus is available for purchase at any National BookStore, Department Store, or even a school supply boutique for a price of 1,150 Pesos, depending on where you get it. This scientific calculator has everything you need for your mathematics or physics course, as opposed to the old scientific calculator CT-82MS, which requires you to enter each number one by one in order to receive the accurate results. Because of its autonomous design, this calculator gives you smaller tasks to do. Casio is more expensive than the previous one, but it is the simplest method to do it. The overall quality of this Casio Scientific Calculator is good; you can recharge its power with sunlight, and every time you use it, it charges at the same time, resulting in a long battery life.
3. Personal Organizer

My sister told me that high school is different from elementary school since you get to start learning new things and even experience things that are unfamiliar to us. When you enter high school, things get more serious. You must begin to consider both short-term and long-term objectives. This enables you to build a growth template for the person you wish to be when you enter adulthood. You may desire to be academically smart, an all-arounder who excels in sports and studies, or a socially involved individual.
I purchased a personal organizer or tiny notepad to utilize for planning purposes. You may use it for your daily journal and to plan ahead of time, which will help you develop your time management skills, which are extremely important for being a productive person and for your future career. You can get it at any National Book Store location in the Philippines by looking for Veco Spiral Notebook, and it is quite inexpensive compared to other tiny notebook brands like Green Apple or anything. The Veco Spiral Notebook costs just 40 PHP. The notebook's overall quality is excellent for the price. It is reasonably priced and well worth purchasing.
