Been in a mood with my writing so I decide to read some books about/by great authors. It has been a good pick me up right from the beginning. From Zen in the Art of Writing By Ray Bradbury You can borrow it for free from the Internet Archives https://archive.org/details/zeninartofwritin0000brad/page/6/mode/2up

I wondered why green is so associated with hope and then I remembered being 8 and seeing a little plant sprout after a few days of waiting and. Yeah. I get it now.

Burn baby burn! Earlier this month Disco Kitchen Magazine published my short story 'Lentil Soup on an Open Flame' in their first issue.
It's the end of the world (or is it?) and a judgemental campfire gets the rare opportunity to cook for two.
It can sometimes feel like the world is ending right now, but I fully believe it is not. As Mikaela Loach writes in It's Not That Radical, "there will never come a point at which acting to transform the world for the better isn't worthwhile."
I hope some people find some hope in this story.
