Unheard and unfelt.

Pairing: Itoshi Sae x Fem! Reader
Contains: Angst with comfort, Sae is a yearner
Communication issues and your boyfriend's lack of empathy proved to be the biggest obstacle. Despite your best efforts, the two of you just couldn't seem to find common ground. Every conversation felt like a battle, each unable to truly understand the other's perspective. It was a slow and painful realisation that you both are growing further apart, not closer together.
After yet again another heated argument, Sae was going walked out on you, saying he doesn't have time arguing with, and that he's tired after practicing.
"This! This is what i'm talking about Sae. Did you even get my point?" Your boyfriend stops walking, his back facing you as if thinking of something to say.
You clenched your fists, "Are you really gonna walk out on me?"
No response.
You scoffed at your own attempts, you ran your fingers through your hair, swallowing the lump in your throat, you're tired. Tired of how frequent the arguments are with Sae, And the stress is mentally and physically getting to you. you closed your eyes for a few seconds letting out a shaky breath before opening them again. "Lets.. Lets just end this, Sae."
── .✿
Nearly two months since you left Sae, of course you had a hard time trying to move on, completely avoiding everything soccer related. But with how famous your ex is, almost everyday you see his stupid face whenever you go for a morning jog, walk or even going to your work. From billboards, advertisements, the news, basically everywhere.
Itoshi Sae is everywhere and it's driving you crazy.
Sae begins to feel the loneliness that comes with the absence of your presence in his life he was in denial at first, gaslighting himself that he never needed your presence at the first place. He starts to notice the little things that changed without you in his life, and he starts to miss the way you laughed, the way you spoke, and the comfort you brought to his otherwise empty days how you'd cheer for him at his matches.
The two of you haven't been able to shake off the feelings you still had for each other. Despite the distance and the breakup, the memories and connection between you two kept gnawing at both of you.
── .✿
You were invited to a charity event that is a high-profiled fundraiser, organized by a renowned sports company with ties to football. Their invitations are exclusive and hard to come by, but Sae's status as a famous footballer and his connections in the industry made it possible for him to receive an invite. And of course, as a person who is also high profile, you wouldn't miss an invite. As you arrive at the venue, the air is filled with people dressed in their best formalwear, laughing and chatting amongst themselves. The atmosphere is grand and elegant, and you can't help but feel a bit overwhelmed by the extravagance around you.
During the event, you spot an familiar pink hair in the crowd talking to the other guests or rather, they're talking to him. You can feel his gaze linger on you every so often. As the night progresses, you find yourself standing alone on the balcony of the venue, trying to catch a breath from the crowded room.
The night sky is clear, the stars shimmering above you. Inside the venue, the music played in the background. As you stand alone on the balcony, taking deep breaths to calm your nerves, You were lost in thought, enjoying the cool night air and the solitude of the balcony, when you suddenly notice a shadow fall over you. Startled, you look up to see Sae standing just a few feet away, his gaze fixed on you.
"Hey," Sae started, his voice low and soft. You looked over at him, your heart pounding in your chest.
"Hey," you reply, keeping your response cool and collected.
Sae takes a deep breath, as if gathering his thoughts. You could tell he wanted to say something, but was hesitant.
"I want to talk to you," he admits, his gaze focused on the city lights.
You turn to face him fully, your curiosity piqued. "Sure." Maybe it was closure, the closure you've been waiting for. The closure that you hoped will aid your aching heart, and will finally help you move on.
Sae looked away again, his expression turning pained. He ran a hand through his hair, his usual calm facade starting to crumble.
"..I miss you." His voice was barely above a whisper. "I miss having you around, I miss talking to you, I miss hearing your voice."
You could see the raw honesty in his eyes, the struggle he was going through to confess what he's been feeling.
You looked into Sae's eyes, a myriad of emotions swirling within you. A mix of hurt, anger, and heartache filled your chest as you remembered the countless times he had let his career take precedence over your relationship. You took a step back, trying to put some space between you two.
"No," you said finally, your voice firm. "I can't keep going back and forth, being hurt and then being apologized to. If that is all you're going to say, then please excuse me." You turn your heels, holding back your tears Sae's heart ached at your action, as if instinct, his hands wrapped around your torso, preventing you from walking any further. He buried his face on the crook of your shoulder
Soon as Sae's arms wrapped around you, your heart felt like it was being squeezed. The familiar feeling of his body against yours, the scent that was uniquely him, it all felt so intimate and yet so painful. You wanted to pull away, to protest, to tell him to let you go, but as much as it hurt, you couldn't bring yourself to do it.
"Don't go. Please." Sae whispered, his voice filled with desperation. He held you closer, you could sense his yearning, his chest rising and falling with each ragged breath. It was as if he was holding onto you for dear life, as if the mere touch of you was the only thing that kept him grounded.
You let out a shaky breath, feeling torn between your own anger and the intense emotions he was stirring within you. "I can't keep doing this with you, Sae. You've hurt me enough." As the words left your lips, the tears that had been gathering in your eyes finally spill over, running down your cheeks. Sae's grip on you tightened, his embrace pulling you even closer against his chest. He rested his forehead on your shoulder, his voice low and filled with regret.
"I know I've been difficult, and I haven't been understanding. I've been such an ass. I..I'll try better, I promise."
You pulled slightly away from Sae's arms, looking up at him with a mix of hurt and understanding.
"You've have been an ass." you said, your voice cracking just a bit. "After what you did to me, I'm not ready to forgive you yet."
Sae let out a sigh, his expression pained but accepting of your words. "I know I have," he replied quietly. "And I understand if you need time before giving me another chance."
You nodded, a mix of emotions still coursing through you. Despite everything that had happened, there was still a part of you that cared deeply for him, a part that was willing to give him a chance to prove himself.
"I need time to think," you said, your voice wavering. "But... I'm willing to give you a chance, if you're serious about trying to understand me better."
Each day, Sae demonstrated his commitment to changing his ways and showing you that he was serious about earning back your trust. He made a conscious effort to be more open and understanding, actively listening when you spoke and making sure to consider your feelings and perspectives. He even went out of his way to do little things that you liked, like baking you your favorite cake even if it was a total failure or bringing you your favorite drinks in the morning.
He no longer forgot important dates or events, and would always make an effort to be present and supportive when you needed him.
After months of rebuilding trust and working through their issues, you and Sae had finally found your way back to each other and even getting married a few years after. The two of you managed to overcome the challenges and misunderstandings that had previously torn you apart.
── .✿
Sae sat across the table from his PR team, who were currently lecturing him about the need to maintain discretion and privacy when it came to his personal life. However, Sae's mind was preoccupied, constantly straying back to you.
His PR manager noticed his distraction and sighed, "Sae, we've discussed this. We need to keep your personal life under wraps to avoid any potential scandals or negative press."
Sae's gaze was distant. "Not like I've ever cared about what the media thinks."
The PR team exchanged worried glances, knowing that he had a tendency to be quite stubborn when it came to things he didn't care about. However, they persisted and tried to convince him once more to be careful.
"Think about your image, Sae. If it gets out that you have a significant other, it could affect your career and reputation."
The athelete simply raised an eyebrow, a hint of defiance in his eyes.
"How does having a relationship affect my performance anyways." he replied, it was more of a statement than a question.
His PR manager sighed in frustration, but before they could continue their lecture, the interview producer peeked in the room. "We're ready for you, Mr. Itoshi."
Sae stood up from his seat. The PR team shot him a final warning look, but he ignored them as he headed towards the interview set.
As he sat down across the interviewer, the questions started, and everything was going as expected, but it was going more longer that what Sae had predicted. The interviewer shifted the topic from soccer to asking about his personal life and openly flirting with him.
Sae was getting impatient. "If you aren't going to ask anything aside from my career, this interview is finished, i want to go home to my wife." He stood up from the chair he was sitting on but not before giving the interviewer a nasty look. "Professionalism fears you with how you're doing your job." Sae turned around and walked out of the room, hearing his team's muffled voice apologizing for his actions.
In just a few hours, the person who interviewed your husband was fired.

Liquid Courage.

Pairing: Drunk! Adult! Itoshi Rin x Reader.
Contains: gn!reader, time skip! Rin, jealous Rin, fluff, drunk confession
The club was filled with the mixed scents of sweat, smoke, and spilled alcohol, creating a heavy and hazy atmosphere. The music thumped loudly, reverberating through the walls and making conversation between people difficult, and the room was dark, with only a few colored lights, Rin was sitting on the high chair at the front bar as he sips on his 5th bottle this night.
His other hand rubbed his temples, setting aside the bottle and reaching for his phone.
He bit the inside of his cheek, as his finger tip hover above your contact number. Rin has always been against the idea of giving you nicknames, he thinks its unnecessary.
He clicked his tongue and pressed the call button. A few rings in and he heard your voice. It was a bit hoarse, you probably just woke up. After all, it was almost 2:30 am.
"[Name]? c–can you pick me up?" Rin slurred his words.
"W- huh? Where even are you?"
"Clu- Hic Club."
"Send me your location." You dropped the call and hurriedly got out of your bed, slipping into some pants and a decent top. You open your phone and looked at the location Rin had sent. You grabbed your keys and drove to the club.
Upon entering the club, the loud music assaulted your senses as the heavy beat of the bass made it feel like your heart was in sync with the music. Neon and colorful lights would flash across the room, casting a strange glow on the crowd of people dancing and chatting on the dance floor. The air was thick with the smell of sweat, smoke, and alcohol, creating an almost intoxicating atmosphere as you make your way through the crowd to find Rin.
As you scan the crowded bar, your eyes fall on your friend, the dark haired man was sitting on a high chair at the front bar, looking completely intoxicated. His movements are slow and disoriented, and his speech is slurred as he open his wallet to pay the bartender. It's clear that he had one too many. You made your way to his stool and grabbed his wallet from his hands paying the bartender instead.
"Jeez, how many bottles did you have?" You sigh, looking at Rin's disheveled appearance. His once-perfect hair was now messy and tousled, and his face was flushed with redness from the alcohol.
"You know what? forget i even ask." You carefully put his other arms around your shoulder, guiding him as he stumbles, murmuring somethings you can't understand.
"Let's get you home, yeah?"
Finally, after coming across a few sweaty bodies, you got out of the club, and walked to your car but not without struggling. You do have a drunk person arms around your shoulders. You helped Rin seat at the passenger seat, careful not to hit his head at the process. After, you closed the door and sat on the drivers seat. You looked at Rin his eyes half-closed, his movements sluggish and gawky. His hand was covering his face as he leans on the seat.
"You rarely get wasted, what happened?" You placed your hand on the wheel.
The raven haired man took his hand off his face, his words were slurred and difficult to understand, but he attempted to explain why he had become so intoxicated. "I... I just needed to relax," he said, his voice sounding thick and slow. "Had a long day, just wanted to take the edge off."
You hummed.
Rin's usual aloof demeanor was replaced with a hint of possessiveness as he brought up Isagi in the conversation. His words were still sluggish and his gestures more exaggerated than usual. "Isagi..." he muttered, grabbing your attention. A frown marring his features. "Are you two...?" He paused, hiccuping slightly before continuing, "together or something?" He leaned in closer, his eyes narrowing slightly as he studied your expression.
"Huh? why did you get that idea?" You raised a brow, intrigued by his question.
He had seen the way you interacted with Isagi, the subtle smiles and intimate glances that were often exchanged between the two of you. In his drunken state, these cues were seen as evidence of a deeper connection, leading him to believe that you and Isagi were involved romantically. He couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to your relationship than he realized, and the alcohol fueled his suspicions further. "You've been spending a lot of time together lately. I couldn't help but notice. You seem...close."
You scoff, "Well, of course? we are friends after all."
You glanced at him. "What's going on with you Rin? you seemed awfully persistent to know everything about me and Isagi recently."
"Im jealous."
You eyes widened. Was that a confession or what? "What do you mean?"
"B'cause im jealous..the way you look at him, speak to him, laugh with him, you guy's haven't even known each other longer than we have.." He lets out a frustrated noise, brushing his fingers through his hair.
"Fuck, it‐ Hic it's 'cause i like you."
"What?" You turned to your body to the side to face him, unsure how to react to his drunken confession.
"Too many question.." Rin's movements were clumsy and uncoordinated as he leaned forward and pressed his lips against yours, causing you to almost hit your head on the window behind you. Still, you melted to the kiss. It was sloppy and unpracticed, as he was clearly too drunk to control his motions. However, even in his inebriated state, there was a certain tenderness to his actions, a desperate longing that hinted at deeper feelings. As the kiss continued, Rin's body grew heavier, his movements slowing until he finally slackened and passed out in your arms, his head resting heavily on your shoulder.
"What am i gonna do with you?" You gently guided him back to the passenger seat and reclinined it, but not too far back. You placed a blanket that you folded to create a make shift pillow and propped it below his head.
With Rin passed out in the passenger seat, you take control of the wheel and start driving towards his place. The city lights flash by as you navigate the empty streets, the silence in the car only occasionally broken by Rin's soft snores. You steal glances at him from time to time, a mix of concern and affection in your eyes. His head is leaned back against the blanket you folded, his lips slightly parted, and his body slumped over. It's a quiet and peaceful moment, a stark contrast to the drunken chaos from earlier.
You finally arrive at Rin's place and you cut the engine, the car falling silent as you both sit in the dark. You turn to Rin and see he's still passed out next to you. You shake him gently, trying to wake him up, but he just grumbles and slumps further down in his seat. With another sigh, you reach over and rummage through his pockets, searching for his keys. After a few moments, you finally find them, hidden deep in his jacket pocket. With the keys in hand, you exit the car and open the passenger door, bracing yourself to help Rin out.
You put one hand on his shoulder and shake him gently. "Rin," you say, your voice quiet in the silence of the night. "Wake up. We're home." Rin groans and stirs slightly, opening his eyes just a crack. He looks up at you, his gaze bleary and disoriented, but he manages to mumble something incomprehensible. You reach out and loop his arm around your shoulder, helping him to stand unsteady on his feet. He stumbles against you, his weight heavy on your frame as you begin the slow process of getting him inside.
You guide Rin through the darkened house to his bedroom, his body slumped heavily against yours. He mutters unintelligible words as you half-drag, half-walk him down the hallway until you reach his bedroom. You open the door and help Rin collapse onto the bed, his body immediately sinking into the mattress. He's barely awake, his eyes fluttering shut as he mumbles something incoherent. You can see the exhaustion written on his face, the effects of the alcohol taking a toll on his body.
You straighten up and prepare to leave the room, intending to let Rin sleep off the effects of the alcohol. However, as you start to turn away, you feel Rin's hand grab your wrist, his grip surprisingly strong despite his drunken state. "Wait..." he slurs, "Stay."
You hesitate for a moment, taken aback by Rin's sudden request. His eyes are half-lidded, the alcohol dulling his usual sharpness, but there's a pleading look in his gaze that makes it impossible to deny him. "I..." you start, your voice quiet in the darkened room, but Rin's grip on your wrist tightens. "Please." he mumbles, his voice rough and soft. "Please stay."
You look down at him, taking in the sight of the normally composed Rin, now reduced to a drunken mess, pleading for your presence. His tousled hair, his rumpled clothing, the vulnerability in his eyes - it's all so far removed from the Rin you know, and something within you softens at the sight. You sigh, giving in, and nod slowly.
"Okay," you murmur, your voice barely above a whisper. "Okay, I'll stay." Rin's grip on your wrist loosens, his hand falling back to his side as he closes his eyes, a small satisfied smile appearing on his face.
── .✦
Rin woke up to the unwelcomed sight of sunlight streaming through his window and a throbbing headache. He groaned, his hand coming up to rub his temples as he tried to recall the events of the previous night. But the memories were hazy and disjointed, fragments of conversation and blurry images that refused to come together into a cohesive whole. As his mind slowly began to clear, he found himself puzzled by the sight of you sleeping next to him in his bed.
He propped himself up on his elbows, wincing as the movement sent a wave of nausea through him. His gaze fixed on you, taking in the sight of you sleeping peacefully, your hair unkempt and features lax in sleep. A thousand questions ran through his mind as he tried to make sense of the situation. Why were you here? How had you ended up in bed with him? And more importantly, what had happened between the two of you last night?
You stir awake, the sunlight streaming through the curtains assaulting your eyes. You sit up, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes, and notice Rin lying next to you, his face twisted in pain from the after-effects of his hangover. He looks at you with a mixture of confusion and surprise, his eyes hazy from the alcohol still lingering in his system. As you stretch and reach for the bedside table, Rin speaks up. "Why...why were you in bed with me?" he croaks, his voice rough.
You pause in your movements, your hand hovering over the small bottle of asprin you prepared last night before sleeping. You look over at Rin, meeting his gaze, and notice the confusion etched on his face. "You asked me to stay," you reply softly, your voice still groggy with sleep. "You didn't want to be alone."
Rin's brow furrows as he tries to recall the events of the previous night, but the memories remain elusive. He rubs his temples, wincing as the headache persists. "I did?" he asks, a hint of disbelief in his voice.
You nod, unscrewing the lid of the aspirin bottle and shaking out two tablets onto your palm. You hold them out to Rin, and grabbed a water bottle placed on the night stand, offering them to him. "You were pretty drunk," you explain, watching as he takes the aspirin and swallows them followed by drinking the water.
Rin's eyes widen slightly as bits and pieces of the previous night slowly begin to resurface. He can vaguely recall stumbling through the house, supported by your body, and mumbling something before collapsing on the bed. "And you agreed?" he asks, his voice still hoarse.
You shrug, a small smile playing on your lips. "You were being really persistent, and you looked pretty pathetic," you tease, "I couldn't just leave you on your own like that."
"Well.." You cleared your throat, attracting Rin's attention.
"And, you did..kind've confessed."
Rin's eyes widen in surprise as your words sink in, his memory of the night before starting to come back to him in fragments and pieces. "confessed?" his cheeks reddening as he looks up at you.
You nod, a small smile playing on your lips. "Yeah, you did," you say, recalling the messy and uncoordinated kiss he had drunkenly planted on you. "And you also kissed me."
Rin's face reddens further, his eyes dropping to the bedsheet as he struggles to process this information. "I...did?" he mumbles, his voice low. "I don't even remember doing that."
You can't help but chuckle softly, finding his reaction endearing. You reached out to place a comforting hand on his arm. "I don't think you were thinking straight."
Rin nods slowly, his face still flushed with embarrassment. He fiddles with the bedsheet, avoiding your gaze, as he processes the new information. "I'm so sorry," he mutters, his voice full of remorse. "I didn't mean to...to do that. I don't know what I was thinking..."
You shake your head, dispelling his fears with a gentle smile. "Hey, it's okay," you reassure him. "You weren't yourself. I understand. It's not a big deal." You smile at Rin, seeing the vulnerability in his eyes. "I'm not mad," you affirm, your voice warm with reassurance. "And...I didn't mind the kiss. I like you, Rin. I have for a while now."
Rin's breath hitches at your words, his eyes widening in surprise. He looks at you, the disbelief and hope visible on his face. "You do?" he asks, his voice barely above a whisper. "Really?"
"Really. And who doesn't?" You chuckled.

"So, Rin, there's a rumor circulating around that you're in a serious relationship. Any comment on that?" the interviewer asks.
"That's true. I'm in a relationship. We've been together for a while now."
The audience gasps in surprise, and the shocked interviewer scrambles to find something else to say. "That's...quite a revelation. Care to share how you two met?"
"We've known each other for a long time before we even got together, its just.." A small smile graced Rin's lips, recalling the things you said that he did that night. "well, one of us had the courage to confess and here we are now."

Kill yourself.

Pairing : Pro Hero! Katsuki Bakugo x Side Kick! Reader
Warning : None.
"What were you thinking going head to head with dangerous villains like that?!"
"I wanted to—"
"Just shut up, i don't care what your reasoning is." He clicked his tongue, "Don't you get how dangerous that villain is?!" Katsuki's jaw clenched, you bit the inside of your cheek while looking down on your feet, "What the hell were you even thinking?" His hands was balled into a fist,
"I just wanted to help! I went undercover to learn more about them, It wasn't until you popped out of nowhere then, i got caught!" Frustrated, you turned your heel, and tried to walk away from him. You scoff, 'And this is what i get for trying to help.' You whispered to yourself.
"Don't you walk away from me!" Katsuki shouted, he sprinted after you, and grabbed your wrist. You tried to pull your wrist back but his hands didn't budge, so you stood there, your back to his face and your wrist in his hands. "Turn around, and look at me." He demanded, "i said, turn around, and look at me!" This time you did as he said, turning around and looking him in the eyes.
Katsuki's eyes and features softened, a very visible change from the scowl that painted his face earlier, his grip on your wrist also loosened. "I was just..i was just worried about you, you could've died you know? Just promise me you won't do that again, alright?"
You shifted your gaze, "Kats, us hero's needs to take some risks, non ever stood in any position without risking something, especially as a hero." Yes, you admit to yourself that Katsuki is right about you risking your life, you acted recklessly on your own. One slip up and you can only think of all the worst things possible that could've happen. But what you're worried about now is, that villains will probably change hideouts again, and it will take a few weeks to find it. Heck, maybe even months.
"I know that–i know that myself, just don't be reckless like that again alright? Please." He murmured softly as he gave your wrist a squeeze, your eyes shifted, looking down on your wrist that Katsuki was holding.
"Let's go home, Kats. Im tired." You rubbed your face with your other hand, as you release a deep, weary sigh.
His shoulder slumped, unsatisfied that he wasn't answered, but didn't rebut, instead his hands traveled from your wrist to your hands, intertwining both of your fingers with eachother. The blond agreed and the two of you retired for the night.
Katsuki opened your side of the door to the car, the cold air was getting to you so you quickly sat inside, your partner walked around infront of the car and sat on the drivers seat, turning on the seat heater.
The ride to your home was mostly quiet, the sound of rain hitting the car windows and the playlist you and Katsuki made was playing in the background. The last turn to your house was made and you prepared yourself to finally get your ass out the car, you were tired, very tired, and just wanted to rest.
Katsuki finished parking inside the garage and you took a double check to see if you left anything inside the car, once you completed checking, Katsuki was quick to open the door for you. You murmured a quiet "Thank you." And stepped inside your house, taking off your shoes.
A sigh of relief escapes your lips, finally being home after a long day. You climbed up the stairs and headed to your shared bedroom, there, you opened your wardrobe, searching for a comfortable clothes to wear to sleep. As you were going through your clothes, the soft click of the door echoed, it was Katsuki.
He also went through his clothes, following after you in the bathroom. This was the both of you guys' routine. The two of you changed clothes, and brushed your teeth.
Looking around you saw that your brush– the brush Katsuki bought for you was gone from the place you previously set down. You opted to ask your boyfriend. "Katsuki, have you seen my brush?"
"Yeah, it's with me," He replied. "Come here." Part of your routine was Katsuki brushing your hair. You never asked him to do it, but somehow your lover always insist on doing so.
You walked up to him, turning your back so he can brush your hair. His hands went to work, gently combing through your strands of hair. "Done." Katsuki placed the brush on the counter, "are you gonna do anything else?" He inquired. You shook your head, an indication that you weren't gonna do anything else for the night.
Both of you went to your side of bed. Katsuki was getting a bit frustrated at your lack of response to him. 'Are they still mad?' He askes himself. You settled on your side of the bed, facing away from Katsuki, while he stares at your back lost in the train of contemplating about apologizing for his actions earlier. "Hon?, are you still awake?" He awaited your respond. You didn't for a few seconds but decided to answer.
"Yeah, what is it?"
"Im sorry." He murmured.
Confused, you asked, "For what? Why are you apologizing?"
"Earlier. For yelling at you, I was looking out for you okay? I panicked, didn't know what to do and just..busted in there when i saw the tracker on you not moving at all. I thought something happened to you." he whispered the last part, but you heared it clear as day.
You turned to face him, "I know you were, love. I'm sorry too, i acted like that. Sorry for taking actions without your knowledge."
"Are..you stil mad at me?"
"No."
"Then, why were you not answering me earlier?" He asked.
"I was tired, hon. Sorry i made you think i was mad." You chuckled, smitten, your lover looked at you with heart eyes, oh how thankful he was the gods gifted him a blessing he will treasure forever.
You moved closer to him, the two of you wrapped an arm around eachother in a warm embrace as Katsuki brushed your hair with his fingers, you moved your head to meet his gaze, and leaned to his face closer, giving a lingering, gentle kiss on his lips.
"You know, Kats. You're really cute when you're all soft and caring like this." You stared at him with a grin on your lips.
"Kill yourself."
"Anddd, he's back." You laugh.

Second Chance.
Pairing : Sanemi Shinazugawa x Hashira!Reader
Warning : Slight angst, Sanemi maybe a little bit out of character, angst with a happy ending.
Part 2 of The Other Woman.
A/N : AHHHH i didn't expect people to like the first part😭😭 for the people who are asking for part 2, here it isss
Taglist : @yomama2089 @elibelly @delusional-mushroom @bright-sunshines
@senecarosemary-blog
Its been two weeks since the argument with Sanemi. It hasn't been clear to me if the relationship has really ended. Though, its more likely that it has. I've been doing a great job avoiding him those past 2 weeks. Over the course of those days i've been spending my time with everyone but him basically.
But then again, it didn't go unnoticed for the others. Not seeing us together hip to hip did made them suspicious. Cause even if we were in a room together, i avoided him even if it means staying quiet.
If i was to choose between talking to him or Tomioka i'd rather choose the second option and distract myself with having the most boring conversation in the world with Tomioka than talk to him. (no hate to him sorry, Giyuu.)
But as one would expect, the avoiding will eventually came to a stop or be forced to stop.
And here i am, in the Ubuyashiki Estate where both me and Sanemi were requested the presence of by Master himself. Being summoned like this can only mean one thing, to be situated to being partners for a mission. Of couse both of us couldn't say no.
The mission was a simple one, kill the demons that has been lurking in the village that we had been sent to. Only that it needed two pillars since the demons are reportedly strong.
We set out under the dim light of the moon. You can feel the tension that had been building for the past few days in the air, plus the uncomfortable silence that each of us didn't even dare break.
Sanemi's steps were heavy and his brow was furrowed as he led the way. I followed behind, my breath coming in short gasps as we made our way towards the village.
As we walked, we encountered a few demons along the way. But, Sanemi was quick and efficient as he struck them down, while i did the same.
Once in the village, the plan was to split up and so we did split up to search for the reported demons. Sanemi's search was quick, and i could hear the sound of his sword striking against a demon's flesh. On the other hand, my hunt was slower, i found myself wandering through the winding empty streets, trying to find the elusive demon.
Wandering around more, i finally found the demon, but it wasn't alone. There were multiple demons in the area, and they were clearly ready for a fight. I drew my sword and prepared to face them off, my heart pounding in my chest.
[ 3rd person view. ]
As the fight began, both Hashiras found themselves separated, each fighting off multiple demons alone.
[ (name)'s POV. ]
I've been fighting these demons for what felt like a few hours now, after i slayed one of them another appears and i struggled against the demon's fiery attacks.
The reports were right, these demons are strong, almost as strong as a Lower Moon, my breath coming in gasps as my strength and stamina started to weaken.
Wiping the blood off of the side of my forehead, My appearance was disheveled, my hair messed up, blood streaming down my face, my uniform has rips on it including one of the claw attack on my legs creating a masive slash on my pants. a hiss escapes my lips as i touch my bleeding forehead. 'Hurry, Sanemi. My stamina's not gonna last longer..' i bit my bottom lip. I didn't wanna die with out making up with him.
As i stumbled, i was caught off guard with a stabbed on the lower back by one of the demons i was fighting. I let out a blood curdling scream. Its a good thing that it wasn't a vital point, now, i hadn't been attacking, only defending. My moves are a bit sluggish now that the tiredness was getting to me.
An hour into the fight, It was no use, my stamina was long gone and i couldn't even gather up the strength to get up. 'Ah..im passing out..i think?' I layed there on the ground, vision starting to spin and blur, everything around sounded so muffled like i was underwater.
Through my blurry and spinning vision, i saw his familiar figure. I took one last breath and finally closed my eyes, it was enough for me to know he was alive, but there we're two demons left. I heard them whispering to each other before I saw Sanemi arrive, it was along the lines of hiding and wanting to ambush him while his defenses were down.
[ 3rd person POV. ]
Sanemi was in the middle of battle when he heard a scream– their scream.
"[Name].." Sanemi breathe out, turning his head to the direction where he heard you scream. He turned his head again to focus on what's infront of him, Sanemi stood against three demons, his sword gleaming in the moonlight. as three demons approached him. The creatures were covered in scales and had razor-sharp claws, their eyes glowing with demonic energy. The Hashira didn't hesitate, charging forward to engage them.
The first demon was the largest, and Sanemi knew that it was the most dangerous. It raised its claws, ready to strike, but Sanemi was faster. His sword flashed in the moonlight as he struck, cutting through the demon's scales severing its arm. The demon let out a roar of pain, but Sanemi didn't let up and went of the demons neck.
Sanemi was known for his speed and precision, but even he struggled against the demons' raw power. He lunged at the first demon, his sword slashing through the air, but the demon blocked the attack easily with its massive arm. The second demon lunged at Sanemi from the side, its claws striking at his chest, but he dodged out of the way, his sword striking at the demon's neck.
The third demon was the most formidable of the group. It stood tall and powerful, towering over Sanemi. The demon let out a chilling roar, clearly preparing to attack. Sanemi stood his ground, his sword raised in a defensive position.
The demon charged at him, its huge claws bared and ready for battle. Sanemi waited for the right moment and dove out of the way, just in time to avoid the attack. The demon crashed into the ground, leaving itself vulnerable.
Sanemi was quick to seize the opportunity. He leaped onto the demon's back, his sword held high. With a single, decisive blow, he severed the demon's head from its body, effectively killing it.
Sanemi stood there, breathing heavily, his sword still clutched in his hand. surrounded by the lifeless bodies of three powerful demons. He was exhausted, both physically and mentally, but he knew that his work was not yet complete. He had heard the blood-curdling scream of his partner, who had been his only ally in this fight, and knew that he had to find them. As the adrenaline started to wear off, he started to feel the strain on his body, the toll of the intense battle suddenly catching up with him.
He quickly searched the area, his heart racing with anxiety and dread. Finally, he found them, lying on their own blood, passed out. Sanemi's heart sank as he looked down at their helpless form. He knew that the demons had done this to them, and he felt a burning anger rising within him.
But he knew that he couldn't dwell on anger now. He had to focus, to channel his emotions into the fight ahead. He had to save them, no matter what the cost. He stood infront of them to protect their unconscious body. ready to face the next challenge.
As he waited, he could hear the distant sounds of two demons growling and snarling. They were coming, and they were hungry. Sanemi was ready. He drew his sword, his eyes set on the enemy. He knew that he couldn't let his emotions get the best of him, that he had to be calm and collected. But he also knew that he had to fight with all his might, to protect the them and to avenge their wounds.
As the demons finally appeared before him, Sanemi let out a primal roar and charged at them with all his strength and speed. He was a blur of motion, and his swrod flashed in the air as he sliced through the demons like butter.
In moments, the two demons lay defeated at his feet, their heads severed from their bodies. But Sanemi's fight was not yet over. He quickly ran to their side, checking their pulse and breathing.
They were alive, but barely. Sanemi knew that he had to get them help as soon as possible.
A few minutes later, Multiple Kakushi arrived at the village taking them from Sanemi's arms. "I tried to stop the bleeding by putting pressure on it," he gently passed you to the Kakushi, "you better take good care of them." His voice was demanding but quiet. The Kakushi nodded.
After receiving news from Aoi that they had woken up from being unconscious for three days, Sanemi quickly made his way to the Butterfly Mansion, his heart racing with anxiety. He couldn't shake the feeling of dread that had been hanging over him since the battle, and he desperately needed to see the them.
Finally, he arrived at the Butterfly Mansion, his breath coming in harsh gasps as he ran up to the doorstep. He burst through the door panting.
Shinobu's eyes widen as she heard the door burst open revealing a panting Sanemi on the door way, he clearly rushed here as soon as he received the news.
"Their awake," Shinobu said, her voice soft and filled with emotion. "I was just filling them in about everything that's happened, and they were asking about you."
Sanemi's heart leapt in his chest, his eyes widening as the weight that had been pressing on him lifted. "Where are they?"
"I'll take you to them," Shinobu led the way to their room gently knocking then opening the door softly. " [name], Sanemi's here." They were spacing out looking at the window to their left, until they heard his name, they turned to look at the opened door, their eyes landing on the face on the man they love.
Sanemi couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. They were sitting there, looking just as beautiful as ever, albeit a bit pale and tired.
"I'll leave you two alone." Shinobu says, earning a hum from the both of you.
Sanemi walked over to their bed, they were leaning on a pillow while they were sitting.
"I'm glad you're okay, i shouldn't have made the plan to split up, im sorry." he murmured,
"The plan worked out fine, and if it wasn't for you i would've been devoured by those demons so, thank you."
Sanemi took a deep breath, knowing that this was a conversation that he couldn't delay any longer. He had to apologize to them about the argument both of them had a few weeks ago, to let them know that he understood ther concerns and that he was sorry for hurting them.
"I want to apologize again about the argument we had," he began, looking down at his hands. "When we first started dating, and even now, I compared you to Kanae, and I realize now that that was wrong. I didn't realize how much it hurt you, and for that, I'm sorry."
[Name] looked up at him, surprise written all over their face. He had rarely spoken to them like this before, had rarely been this vulnerable and open with them.
"Thank you," they said, taking his hand. "Thank you for understanding. And I'm sorry too, for not being completely honest with you about my worries. It's just that, i wanted for you and your brother to be okay."
Sanemi smiled, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. He knew that their relationship wasn't perfect, that they still had much to learn about each other. But this moment, this honest conversation, made him certain that they were headed in the right direction. And he was willing to do whatever it took to keep them happy, to be the best partner that he could be.
"I promise you that I'll be more thoughtful in the future," he said, looking into their eyes. "And I'll do my best to see things from your perspective. Because in the end, I don't want to lose you, and I want to make this work. So, I hope you'll give me a second chance."
They smiled, feeling a warm tingle in their chest. They never expected him to open up to them like this, to really listen to their concerns and apologize for his actions. And they knew that this was a turning point for their relationship, something that they could build on moving forward.
"Of course," they said, leaning in to kiss him. "I love you, Sanemi."
The two of them pulled away from the kiss, "I love you more."
"So, i guess we're okay?" He looked at them in the eyes. He was suprise to see them burst to laughter.
When your laughter dies down, there was a comforting silence that lingered in the air. "Yes," You smiled at him and lean into his face again to peck him on the tip of his nose.

The Other Woman.
Pairing : Sanemi Shinazugawa x Hashira! Reader.
Warning : Spoilers for the anime/manga, angst, second choice reader, some fighting
A/N : HIII THANKYOU FOR READINGGG IM SORRY IF ITS HORRIBLE ITS MY FIRST TIME BSNXNZKZ
From the very begining, i always knew that i was just a second choice.
It has always been her it will always be her.
Shinazugawa and me met during our final selection.
He was harsh at first but warmed up to me the next few days together in the Mount Fujikasane. Truth be told, he didn't even want me to stay, i was the one following him around because he was the only one that caught my attention i didn't know why. But something about him just makes me drawn to him.
We fought in the mountain infested with demons side by side. During those times, my then unrequited love for him developed.
Time past by and we were promoted to be Hashiras. Though, it was ashame when Kumeno; the man who helped Shinazugawa and introduced him to a proper trainer, tragically died during both of their encounter with one of the holder of Lower Rank One of the Twelve Kizuki.
There, we met her.
Kanae.
And i can't blame Sanemi for falling for her charms. Shes beautiful, kind, sweet, patient, and has an easy-going personality.
How can i ever compare to her? Im not even close.
Kanae was easy to get along with, after becoming the Ice Hashira, we've sometimes been paired up by Master Ubuyashiki for missions. Therefore, we knew each other quite well.
Seeing the way Sanemi looks at her with heart eyes shatters my heart knowing he loved her, not me. The look in his eyes says it all.
How could I hate her? She's such an angel.
She's perfect where i fail.
"Nemiii~" i whined, impatiently waiting for him to stop training and come with me to eat.
"What?" The white haired man still kept his stance not once even glancing at you.
"C'monnn, you said you'll come with me to the ramen shop near byyy"
Huffing in annoyance, he straighten his body, turning fully to you a defeated expression plastered on his face. "Fine," "Your treat." He added.
"Alright, Let's go!" I grabbed his hands dragging him out then suddenly, Kanae's crow came flying to us informing about the unfortunate event's that led to Kanae's inevitable death.
The news, of course made me upset, she was my friend after all. But Sanemi took the news harder if not, the third hardest after the other two Kocho's. Talking to him seemed impossible after Kanae's death. He avoided me, he avoided everyone. When i try to have a converstation with him, his respond is always just a short answer or a simple hum.
Master Ubuyashiki summoned us two, to inform us about a mission, where we're both paired up. The walk to the place was quiet accompanied by the occational noises of cicadas. I was tired and didn't want to waste my energy to a one sided conversation so i stayed quiet.
As we were walking i felt a presence of someone behind my back, quickly turning around, i saw that a demon was launching at me, while his clawed nails reached for me. A hand wrapped around my waist hopping backwards to get away from the demon, a groaned escaped my lips,
"You okay?" I felt Sanemi's warm breath on my ears i felt a head rushed to my cheeks as i regain my composure. 'Its so hard to focus when im working with you.' I thought.
"Y..yeah. im okay, yeah." I patted the back of my neck and looked at my hands.
Blood.
"Fuck," i tilt my head up and glanced at the demon, a smirk on his face i pulled away from Sanemi taking my sword out of its sheath and drawing it towards the enemy. I took a deep breath and released it out my mouth.
"Ice breathing, first form, Freezing Slash." I launched towards the demon rapidly and precisely strinking him and his neck. Pieces of him dropped to the ground, his detatched head rolling to the ground as it disappears into thin air.
Sanemi walked towards me. "Come here." He softly says, and i obeyed like a puppy. He patched up the wounds on the back of my neck and that day, we reconciled our friendship.
There were times where i wanted to confess to him but didn't want to take advantage of his vulnerable state. Then, that day came where i finally mustered up the courage to finally confess to him, at first he thought i was kidding but once he realize i wasn't, he became nervous. But he did gave the relationship a chance, and we began dating.
But i could never shake the feeling that i was just a replacement, a second choice for the woman he really loved.
"Sanemi! Nemi! Wait!" I yelled running after him.
"What's your place to interfere with me and my brothers problem huh?" He stopped walking and turned around to look at me, a dissapointed look on his face was visible.
"Im sorry, i though– i though it would help.."
"Help with what?!"
"I..i don't know. When you told me about that story about your mother i–" a shaky breath escapes my lips.
"I know how to handle my own brother, and you're out of it." His tone as cold as ice.
"I thought that maybe it will help you move on.."
He stepped towards me, one of his eye brows upwards with a confused look on his face. "Move on from what?"
"From every thing thats keeping you from moving on."
"Why? What do you even know about how i feel? Do you know all the things i had to go to?" His eyes shifted. "Of course not."
"So stop acting like you know my pain, and stop acting like you own it!" His voice raised on the last sentence. "And you can't just say to me when i can move on."
I stood there, in silence. My glossy orbs looking at him.
"Even Kanae who is with me in everything, who knows everything, didn't interfere with my decisions."
That was my last straw.
"Im not Kanae, so stop comparing me to her!"
"You're right, you're not Kanae, and you will never be Kanae." He pointed his finger at me. I looked at him in the eye a tear sliding down my cheeks.
"Kanae is dead. She's not coming back Nemi, but until now you're still acting as if she is here."
"Because she is! She's here!" He pointed at his chest where his heart is.
"If she's there then where am i?.. " my voice quiet but shaky. "Forget it." I walked passed him heading to the door that leads out of his estate. My hand made its way to my mouth to stop myself from crying even louder, the other slid the door open.
I wanted him to chase after me, to tell me we will be okay. But he never did.
How foolish of me to even think that you will. I wonder, if i were to be her will you chase after me?
