“What are you drawing there?” He asks, leaning over a little to try and see for himself.

Leopold continues to draw as they reply “How I feel when the sun shines on me.”

As usual Leo’s art piece is very abstract. A symphony of mostly yellows and oranges, with some red, purple, and even green littered in. It’s beautiful as always.

“It’s lovely.”

A hand rests on his shoulder. “You should eat dear, you don’t want to be hungry at work,” Érzsébet turns to Leo next, “and you should be going up to brush your teeth young man.”

Leopold gets up and rushes down the hall.

Austria goes to nibble at his food, but his gut is constructing. For as long as Kugelmugel had been alive in his world, they��d known they were nonbinary. In this world though it seemed Leo either wasn’t aware yet or was hiding themself.

Having eaten half his plate he disposed of the rest behind Érzsébet’s back, unable to eat anymore and got ready for work. Whatever work was.

//Austria is starting to realize he’s probably been transported to another universe where everyone is human. So everyone but him is human, or at least he remembers his world where he is a nation and currently stuck in a human body (aka he hasn’t figured that out yet).

His bad direction steers him wrong only once thankfully. Landing him in the living room before he finds the kitchen where Érzsébet and Leopold are. The smell of breakfast makes him realize for the first time this morning how hungry he truly is.

He sits next to his child at the dinning table, noting how their plate is only half eaten while they draw. They didn’t even notice him.

Érzsébet’s voice travels through the door. “Is everything alright? Your breakfast is getting cold.”

He stumbles over his words a bit but hopefully doesn’t sound too suspicious. “I- Yes, I’m awake. Was just- just a moment and I’ll be there dear.”

There’s a pause. “You alright? Should I come in?”

“N-no! Just slept a bit rough is all. I’m fine.” He reassures.

“Okay.” Érzsébet says, believing him. Her footsteps leading away from the door and down the hall a few seconds later.

He sighs to himself. He’ll need to get dressed.

Glancing through the wardrobe he’s not too sure how to dress for the day. He can’t see most of his favourite outfits from centuries past. How should he dress if he’s not even sure what he’ll be doing today?

Austria: “No, she seems to simply be inquiring about whether I’m awake or not. Nothing hostile in her tone. And she would never intentionally hurt me.”

He adjusts his glasses and opens the journal. Reading the first few sentences.

This is a diary, not a journal, he shouldn’t be snooping in someone’s private-

“Roderich? Are you awake?”

Austria slams the diary closed and puts it back on the nightstand. The voice is coming from right outside the door.

He looks at the bedside table right beside him, on top is a book by an author from his place. He flips through the pages, but nothing stands out. He’s not too sure why it’s here, but it doesn’t give him anything. Looking to the other bedside table he sees…

Austria’s eyes fluttered open as the sunlight hit them through the curtains. Groaning, he sits up and runs his fingers through his messy hair. Finally opening his eyes and seeing he’s in a strange place. Confused, he grabs his glasses and puts them on, then stands and looks around the room. Where is he?
