Week 2 post op

I am 2 weeks out and I’ve been having trouble getting protein in which is a HUGE problem given the fact I DONT want my hair to fall out. (If you have any ways that you hit your protein goal please help a girl out) but I’ve been doing well I can sleep on my side again with occasional back sleeping lol but that’s been great! I have not felt hungry but I’ve be wanting soft serve and slushy 🙃🙃🙃 it’s so annoying but I am almost is the 200s and I super excited, because I honestly don’t remember the last time I was in the 200s (sad I know🙄) but I’m excited to start working out and try and lose close to 100lbs but my birthday so that I can being in this exciting time healthy and happy 😊

One week post op

After a long week i no longer hurt and can move and drive on my own🎉 I been living on juice and water and sugar free popsicles. Got the go ahead to move to purée and had  celebratory mashed potatoes, today was day two of my purée diet had an egg for breckey and tried to ricotta bake for lunch let’s just say I’ve been sick since 🤮 my body I’m going to guess DOES NOT like cheese but I’ve been down for the count since and I’m sad 😞 but tomorrow another day might stick to my water and 50/50 juice tomorrow 🥺 but thank you guys for the good lucks and prayers ♥️ p.s I’m 12lbs down 🎊

It’s the day of!!

It’s officially surgery day and I’m super excited now just play the waiting game and talk to everyone I need to then off I go! Wish me good luck and think of me a little extra today♥️

6 Days till surgery

I officially have 6 days until my surgery!!! I had an appointment for my labs and COVID test, and now it’s just the waiting game. I’m ready for this surgery I’m so excited I’ve just been looking at before and after pictures and watching surgery day vlogs. My 2 week diet is ehh but as long as it means I get my surgery, I’m doing it.

Month 7? 8? 8/4/20

Anyways I’m down to the last 2 weeks before surgery!! 2 weeks 14 days!! I’m so excited not a nerve in sight, I started day one of my 2 week diet today, it definitely isn’t bad personally, I never really ate much to begin with but the most challenging is definitely eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. But I’m just working like crazy before all my time off, I’m just happy working my jobs makes everything go faster!! I’ll try and remember to post the day of surgery but I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am 😬

Month 6? 7? Idk 🤦🏽‍♀️ 6/24/20

Anyway! I got the call!!! August 18 is my day I have a little less than 2 months, I couldn’t be anymore excited!! I know this journey will DEFINITELY be hard but I’m ready for the potential tears and fights. I just went threw all my vitamins and stuff and notice that shit ain’t cheap 🤭 but make my pockets hurt I guess 😫 wish me luck and mark your prayer calendars!

Month 6. 6/18/20

I got the call yesterday!! I finally finished my program for my rny surgery!! I am waiting for the call throughout the week to choose my surgery date! Carona didn’t stop me for long, they opened elective surgeries back up last month!! So hopefully within the next two months I’ll be getting prepped for the big life changing day!

Month 4. 3/13/20

I’ve been extremely busy with two jobs and trying to live a life at the same time, but I am on month 4/6 meaning I have 2 more appointments then it is time to set up a surgery date! My second to last appointment is April 6! So my last one should be in May and that’s when I talk to my surgeon about everything that I need to know about the big life changes and procedures. I really excited to meet this new me I know it’s going to take so will power and a lot of support but I’m ready. If anyone see this I’m always looking for new friends. 🥺

P.s I’m sad this corona shit is ruining everything Billie concerts got postponed until April with means the concert is possibly moved until May but idk because is festival season and she’s attending every single one and that’s if this goes away. But I can only hope for the best.

The Start. 10/14/2019

Today was my consultation, the doctor said I was a great candidate for the program. My insurance requires a 6 month program before surgery. 2nd appointment is in December I’m excited for this journey. I’ve been uncomfortably big for so long, I’m ready to be a normal living young adult. Follow me along on the long but short ride to success ♥️ lets get it!
