CHAPTER TWO OF MY BENJI FIC [BENS POV]

Hi I'm Ben! My mom doesn't know that, but my cru- I mean my best friend Kenji knows.

To sum it up, I'm transgender. My mom thinks I'm [deadname] when I'm really Ben.

I think if my mom found out that I was trans she'd say I'm just "growing up" and "this is not apart of our family name" but whatever. I like who I am.

But I should tell you the story of how I came out to Kenji.

We met at a party that was for Kenji's dad and his co-workers which one of them happened to be my mom.

We kept going to those parties and eventually that was our way of seeing each other. I was about 9 when I found out I was trans. I was going to see Kenji again when I was 10 so I was really happy.

The day of the party (flashback)

"Psst Kenji" I giggled

"Huh? What?" Kenji replied

"Let's sneak to the back!" I said whispering into Kenji's ear.

"Heheh! Ok!" Kenji replied with a evil look.

Once we got to the back, by ourselves. I prepared myself. Why? Because I was gonna tell him I was trans.

"Kenji.. I have to tell you something" I said awkwardly

"What is it? You can tell me anything!" Kenji said

"I.. you know how I'm a girl?" I said, afraid

"Uh.. yeah" Kenji replied in confusion

"Well.. I'm not. I'm not a girl anymore, I'm a boy" I let out.

Kenji looked confused for a moment. " OH MY GOSH!! REALLY? IVE ALWAYS WANTED A BOY FRIEND!" Kenji then let out.

"Wait .. I MEAN A FRIEND THATS A BOY NOT BOYFRIEND LIKE YOUR MY BOYFRIEND NONONO JUST FRIEND THATS A BOY!!" Kenji yelled realizing what he had said.

I giggled, Kenji was so silly. I blushed.

"SO WHATS YOUR BOY NAME? OR DO YOU NOT HAVE ONE! Cause I like Kenji 2.0" Kenji said.

I laughed "yes I do, it's Ben" I replied.

"BEN?!? BEN YOUR MY BEST FRIEND!!" Kenji yelled out and then hugged me very tight.

" your my best friend too." I said back hugging him tighter.

My best friend, Kenji, helped me though everything.

I’m Kenji Kon, Just a kid with a dream to be a normal kid.

Instead, I’m a rich and famous child. My dad is the president of Mantah Corp, making me the next, but that’s not what I wanna be.

“Daddy? Can I please have this toy” I ask my dad as he blankly stares at the books.

“Son, no. You have to focus work and school not some silly toys.” He replied.

I walk away with tears in my eyes.

“But all the other kids in my class have this” I whisper with a frown. I would never talk back to my dad, unless I wanted to be slapped. And, that’s not what I wanted.

One day my dad came into my room.

“Son, we are both going to a work party. all of my co-workers will be there so please, look nice” he demanded, then left the room.

I got up quickly

“A party?! Ooo I love Partys!” I yelled.

My smile quickly turned into a frown once I realized that my dad had said a “work” party, so there probably weren’t gonna be kids my age there.

I grabbed my finest clothing and put it on.

As I got into the limo I asked my dad

“Will there be kids there?” Scared for the response, he said “ yes, my co-worker, Mrs.Pincus will be bringing her daughter, [deadname]”

My eyes lit up with joy, I’ve never really had friends my age and was hoping to make one.

But a girl? Why did it have to be a girl? I thought.

We arrived and I jumped out of the car quickly. I had to contain my excitement because surely my dad wanted me to meet many people. I wouldn’t even remember them the next day so it was super boring.

I greeted many people. Many people said “aww! Your little boy is so cute!” As they pinched my cheeks. I was so ready to meet my “new friend” I wanted to just scream and get this over with already.

“And this is Mrs.Pincus !” My dad said

I woke up from my daze of boredom and was looking for a girl after I shook hands with the lady.

But all I saw was a boy with short but fluffy hair standing behind the women seeming scared.
