I spent the last two days at ArtStarts in #yvr. It was amazing! I'm so lucky to have a mother in education who could bring me to this event and see what artists are doing and feel how educational theatre can affect students. There were some incredibly powerful pieces! At one point they asked us to #craft and show using materials what curiosity is in our lives and how our creativity has shaped/changed/grown since we were young. It was kinda dark being in a room of adults who feel stifled and confined to standards but all together fascinating and I'm so so so glad I could attend!

Today I woke up happy after closing #Company. Tried on about 20 different #maclipsticks. Got a flat tire. Attempted to fix that flat tire with the not so ingenious sealant they put in cars now a days instead of spares (#tirefitkitsucks #chrysler) and waited 2 and a half hours for my roadside assistance to return my call and tow me to south Van. Thank you mother for answering my calls. Thank you to #girlguidesofcanada for teaching me to always be prepared. (I keep a sleeping bag and rain boots in my trunk for such occasions as being stranded). I do not thank #timhortons for another bunk #rolluptherim cup, the asshole who pointed out I have a flat tire as I was trying to fix it (you're not funny), or the two people who backed into and rear ended me cause they have no concept of their vehicles length as I was waiting for roadside assistance! (They're lucky I have such prominent licence plates that stick out a good 4 inches from my bumpers.) Today sucked. But I didn't cry.

What an amazing night the #ovationawards were! There is such a crazy amount of talent in #yvr and I'm so grateful to be apart of it. Thank you to #tuts and #fcp for the opportunities you gave me in 2015! I'm so lucky to have such amazing and supportive people in my life.
