Hey, I'm not in this fandom, but your art post with the text 'archives and the desire to draw with ink' (etc) just showed up on my dashboard, and I adore the style. I would love to hear more about how you achieved it - brushes, pens, something like that? It almost looks like charcoal in places. I've never really worked with ink aside from fine liners, but I wish I could draw like you!

you have to consider that those pics originally are just black ink, but i colored it in digital

I'm only exploring the ways to use ink and i really like to work with manicure stick as well

basically you can use any other stick?? it gives this tasty texture when ink a little dry on it

and also i use calligraphy pen if i need more thin and accurate lines

ink is quite hard to control but honestly that is the main feature, you never really know what you receive in the end (quite fascinating)

and it teaches you to be more adaptive in the process of drawing

materials used: pencil, digital post-processing, infinite agony of emotional isolation & self denial

thank you so much!!!! jesters pics are digital, all tma sketches are traditional so far (but i applied coloring in digital (exept for distortion pic, there are ink and watercolor pencils))

now as i think about it maybe i should just describe all materials i use for certain pics when i post them ?? hmmmmm
