Give yourself permission play games with your tarot deck.

Whether beginner or advanced, games are a great way to bond with your deck and learn your cards.

1. Tarot job interview (best with two or more people)

- choose a job to pretend to interview for. Pull 5 cards. These cards are your characteristics as an applicant. Who can sell it best?

2. Story teller (best with one or more people)

- create the most absurd story you can by randomly drawing cards. If playing with another person, split the deck. Every time you draw a card, continue the story with something ridiculous but relevant to the meaning of the card.

3. Addition and subtraction (easy to do alone)

-Addition: Pick three cards. Add the meanings together to create one new situation.

-Subtraction: Draw two cards. Draw another card and set it aside. Create a meaning of the two cards together WITHOUT the characteristics or connotations of the third.

4. New meanings (easy to do alone)

- Draw a card. You cannot move on until you create a novel meaning or situation for this card you have not come up with before

5. Intuition (easy to do alone)

-Draw a card but don’t look. Feel the energy of the card. Guess if it is a major or minor arcana card. Make a pile of all the ones you guess correctly.

6. Match maker (best with two or more people)

- Each person draws three cards. These cards are the personality of you character. Determine if your characters are a romantic match or not and why. Be silly when you can. Create elaborate and dramatic break up stories. Go wild!
