Rambling about Bleach

Ya know, it’s kinda sad to realize I remember some Bleach characters only because they are in Brave Souls ?

Like they were so bland and uninteresting that I forgot about them ?

The Arrancar War with the fight against Aizen was really great in the start and fell through when Aizen kept morphing into ridiculous forms and the terrible shift Kubo took with Ichigo becoming even more the center of the universe. The characters, were, for the most part, interesting with neat designs. Like Ulquiorra & Grimmjow ? *chef kiss*

But the fullbring arc ? Fuck. There’s dollar store Byakuya (Tsukishima ? I think that’s his name), bland girl with the boots, bland old guy with a watch, I think ? Bland guy who found Orihime hot and dumbass Ginjo who’s the current worst villain of all to me.

And then, the hot pile of garbage that was the last arc ... Gosh I can’t even with terrible that last arc was, how the fuck can you steal a bankai but the shinigami can still use their shikai, makes no sense to me. There’s the chicken guy or something, the love child of Ikkaku and Renji, Bazz-B I think is his name ? The weird as fuck dynamic between Shunsui & Nanao, like what the fuck. Ukitake. God damn. As Nodt, fuck this guy in particular. That fucking panel of Yoruichi’s private parts, like seriously. And Orihime’s new outfit ? Come the fuck on. I barely remember that last arc, like don’t ask me detailed stuff because I can’t freaking remember. I don’t really care about the ending, like the one in the future, it was .. underwhelming and I don’t like Kazui, he angers me. (Honestly, I think it’s the way Kubo’s draw children that makes me hate them) Ichika sounds annoying but I’ll give her a pass because both of her parents share one braincell, so it’s hard. (I do love Renji & Rukia tho, don’t get me wrong)

I’m so mad at all of this because I love Bleach’s universe so god damn much ! I love the shinigami ! I even like Omoeda ! I mean, he’s definitely not in my top 20 of fav Bleach characters, but I still find him hilarious and I love his dynamic with Soi Fon... The only characters that was forgettable among the most high ranked shinigami was Sasakibe, and it’s a freaking running joke in the story.

And then there’s Can’t Fear Your Own World. I don’t know much about it apart from the fact that Hikone freaks me out and Tokinada’s kinda cool, I’ll give him that. What I know about the story is alright, but of fucking course they had to mention freaking ginger boy, like yeah, just make him the soul king already.

Byakuya’s Concept Art :  Cacao Society, 5th Anniversary, Spirit Society

Already shared the 5th one but hot damn, it’s so extra, I have to share it again, this time with the two alternate universe ones. Cacao society still eludes me in game so I’m mad, but the design is gorgeous ! It’s nice to see him with his hair tied for once.

Soul Society Byakuya is my absolute favourite. The colour scheme is stunning and fits him so well !  If anyone knows a little japanese, I’d love to know what the concept art notes are saying, thank you !
