This one took so long but was so worth it ahhh!!! I’m so happy with the final illustration.

The pose reference really inspired me as it fits Scott nd Adam perfectly <3

Urban backgrounds are so different to get right, and the graffiti itself on the wall was a challenge of its own.

It is worldbuilding, after all. I wanted to suggest beef between members of the local scene, tagging over each other and insulting each other through crude spraypaint statements.

I see a lot of graffiti irl and it’s always so interesting to interpret what is going on between the different people leaving it.

I included close ups of the graffiti so you can read/look at it yourself properly.

“Last Photo”

The lighting was a challenge on this one, I really wanted to capture that classic flash photography feel. It was difficult to get my head around but I think I managed to get there!

I’m very happy with this piece, the reference poses suit these two soooo perfectly AHHH; I also wanted it to seem mildly unsettling. I mean. You are looking at murderers after all 👁️

I feel the red tint in their pupils help with that, while also being a natural occurrence.

I need to make some app Adam refs, but here he’s wearing a leather bomber jacket which he’s put studs in. I’d imagine Adam would DIY a lot of his clothes.

He’s also wearing a “vengeance” band shirt that Scott gave him. Vengeance is a fictional metal band in my AU! You can spot the same design in the background of the couch illustration I did of Adam and Scott.
