Christmas brings a brief escape from Coal Hill’s usual problems. Although it has its own challenges, like terrible year seven choirs, gift buying and burnt baking.
Merry Christmas! With our re-run schedule now complete, it's time for some new stories!
Tonight we go back to Last Christmas in Shoreditch, in a brand new side story written by @bazwillendinflames, set during the events of Class: Series One.
Available here.
Happy holidays from all of us at Class Ongoing, and we hope to have another surprise ready for you next week, for our third anniversary!

And now, for the final week of our re-run, we're resharing the last two side stories released during our unplanned hiatus:
First we have Change Your Mind, in which we return to Rhodia's past, in a unique little story touching on the events of Doctor Who: Flux. This was written by @intuitive-revelations, and is available here.
Next we have Missing Rachel, set back in Coal Hill, where some people never give up searching for those who are lost. This story was written by @bazwillendinflames and is available here.
The digital art for both covers was put together by @intuitive-revelations.
These may be the last stories of our current rerun, but we're far from done yet. We have two more surprises coming the next two Sundays, on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve - the third anniversary of our very first Class Ongoing story! We wish all our readers very happy holidays, and advise you keep an eye on this feed...

We've caught back up to Episode 4 now, but we still have a few more stories to share, before we get to number 5!
This week we're resharing a trio of tie-ins: what we've nicknamed the "Family Trilogy", primarily centred around Janeeta Kaur, as she deals with her newly-gained knowledge of the dangers her son Ram and his friends are facing. These stories are:
Heart to Heart, written by @avariciousambitions,
Home Away From Home, written by @bazwillendinflames,
and
One Step Ahead, also written by @bazwillendinflames.
The cover art for all three of these stories was created by the brilliant @liria10.
Finally, we also have the final diary entry (but not the final story installment), of our ongoing series The Lost Diary Entries of a Rhodian Prince, written as a collaboration between @intuitive-revelations (who wrote and illustrated this entry), @avariciousambitions, and @bazwillendinflames. This time, Charlie comes to some conclusions on the future, after the events of Episode Four: The Ship.
To remind readers once again, The Lost Diary Entries of a Rhodian Prince is meant to double as a spoiler-filled recap of each episode from Charlie's perspective, so take caution if you're in the middle of reading that story, or planning to do so.
A text version is available here, under the same url as previously, PDF now updated to include Part 4.

When a tear opens in the middle of the old school hall leading to the interior of a bizarre alien spaceship, the team decides to investigate. Unfortunately, they’re not the only ones interested…
And now, in week 7 of our rerun, we go back to our latest full episode (so far) with a new edition of Episode 4: The Ship!
This story was written by Matt Jordan (@intuitive-revelations) and Scout Hutchinson (@avariciousambitions), with an illustration provided by Anne-Laure Tuduri (@liria10).
Available here!

It's another in-between week, which means it's time to reshare another past tie-in, along with another lost diary entry, this time based on Episode 3: Life Cycles. If you haven't seen our updated edition of that story yet, you can find it here.
Today's side story isn't actually a story, but a trio of poems: War Itself: The Rhodian Sonnets by @intuitive-revelations. We leap back into the distant past to answer the question: just how did the Doctor become a 'figure of legend' on Rhodia anyway? Available here.
We also have another installment of The Lost Diary Entries of a Rhodian Prince, a collab between @intuitive-revelations (who also illustrated), @avariciousambitions, and @bazwillendinflames (who contributed this week's entry). This time, Charlie reflects on some new beginnings, after the events of Life Cycles.
As another casual reminder, The Lost Diary Entries of a Rhodian Prince is meant to double as a spoiler-filled recap of each episode from Charlie's perspective, so take caution if you're in the middle of reading that story, or planning to do so.
A text version is available here, under the same url as previously, PDF now updated to include Part 3.

“The past continues to haunt the group. Tanya and Ram seek out support from outsiders to cope with the death of their parents. April tries to keep Charlie together as the guilt threatens to bury him. Meanwhile Quill is not worried about her past, but her future, as her baby’s arrival draws closer, with the implications for her own fate still unclear”
We return to the third installment of our main series, as Quill's big day arrives with a brand new edition of Episode 3: Life Cycles, written by Ellie J (@bazwillendinflames)!

Hello everyone! It's week 4, and our second 'in-between' week, of our re-run through the Class Ongoing story so far! If you haven't checked it out already, you can find our last episode re-release from last week here.
Today we're resharing our third side-story, Leaving Bannerman Road, written by @intuitive-revelations, with cover art by @liria10.
After a surprise appearance from Sky Smith in Episode One: Fallen Soul, we go back to Bannerman Road, five years after the events of the Sarah Jane Adventures: Series 5, to find out what she's doing here in Coal Hill. Available here.
We also have the second installment of our new tie-in, The Lost Diary Entries of a Rhodian Prince, written as collab between @intuitive-revelations (who also illustrated), @avariciousambitions (who wrote this entry), and @bazwillendinflames. This time, Charlie writes about the events of Call of the Void, and their impact on Matteusz and himself.
As a reminder, The Lost Diary Entries of a Rhodian Prince is meant to double as a spoiler-filled recap of each episode from Charlie's perspective, so do not read if you're in the middle of reading that story, or planning to do so.
Please also be aware that Call of the Void and this entry directly discussing those events each contain mentions/depictions of attempted suicide. Please proceed with caution if these themes are at all damaging or distressing.
A text version is available here, at the same link as previously, PDF now updated to include Part 2.

"As a new normal emerges, Matteusz struggles to find his place amongst the others. He finds a budding friendship in a kind, charismatic stranger. But, as he begins to open up, he must face his deepest, darkest thoughts. Thoughts that may push him over the edge."
And now we return to another installment of our main story, with a new edition of Episode 2: Call of the Void, written by Scout Hutchinson (@avariciousambitions)!
Be aware that this work contains mentions/depictions of attempted suicide. Please proceed with caution if these themes are at all damaging or distressing.
Available here.

It's the second week of our rerun series! To give enough time to read through each episode, we won't be releasing the 2nd edition of Episode Two: Call of the Void today. Instead, however, we have a trio of tie-in stories, two old, one new for you to read.
First it's our first ever story, The New Year, a collaborative work between Class Ongoing writers @bazwillendinflames, @intuitive-revelations, and @tinybookgirl, with cover art by @liria10.
Set between Brave-ish Heart and Detained, we get to catch a small glimpse at how everyone spends their New Year’s Eve. Available here.
Next, it's our second tie-in, President Woods, written by @intuitive-revelations and with cover art again by @liria10.
With Courtney Woods being supposedly in the same year as the gang, we found it a little odd that she never shows up in Class. In this story, we take small detour into the future, to find out why. Available here.
Finally, we have the first installment of our new multipart side story, The Lost Diary Entries of a Rhodian Prince, the full length of which is written as another collaborative work, this time between @intuitive-revelations, who also illustrated it, @avariciousambitions, and @bazwillendinflames.
In this series, we expand on the entries seen in the latest Big Finish audio, Secret Diary of a Rhodian Prince, with new entries by Charlie reflecting on the latest events in Coal Hill. In this long installment, he fills in on the events since The Lost, as well as those of Fallen Soul.
The Lost Diary Entries of a Rhodian Prince is meant to double as a spoiler-filled recap of each episode, in this case Episode One, from Charlie's perspective, so do not read if you're in the middle of reading that story, or planning to do so.
If you're unable to read from the images, whether due to tech difficulties, visual impairment, or just can't discern my Charlie's handwriting, a text version is available here.

"School is back in session, but the dark events in Shoreditch are far from over. With the kids' relationships hanging by a thread and a rogue soul on the streets of Shoreditch, will they find it before it’s too late?"
Today, seven years after the premiere of the first two episodes of Class, we begin the Ongoing journey again!
Over the next few months, we will be regularly re-releasing each Class: Ongoing installment so far, as we prepare to finally continue our story.
Each main episode will release fortnightly on Sundays, with our side stories being posted in the alternating weeks, each on the anniversary of the release of episodes of the original series.
Along with providing a chance to catch up on the story so far, for readers both new and old, each main episode has also been updated as a new edition (check out that tweaked cover art, with fancy new DW logo and adjusted colour grading!), fixing some small errors we missed while editing the first time round, as well as making a few other updates.
Expect also to see some new content, with a new multipart side story arc beginning next week!
This story was written by Ally Chancellor (@tinybookgirl) and illustrated by Anne-Laure Tuduri (@liria10) and Matt Jordan (@intuitive-revelations).
Available here.

Just watched Class for the first time and wanted to see more- this blog hasn't posted since October 2022, is the project officially dead?
Hello! Matt (@intuitive-revelations) here. Welcome to the fandom!
Not officially 'dead', but admittedly in a deep coma right now. It's my fault, as it's been waiting on me completing episode 5, which has been stuck in development hell for a while as I've been busy with my PhD.
What little time I do have for writing nowadays is also currently going towards something a bit more professional/official that I'm very excited about, but hopefully that should be mostly done this month...
I have been thinking about Class: Ongoing recently though, so this ask came at a good time! Mainly thanks to renewing the classongoing.com url and internally debating whether to keep the Twitter "X" up after having deleted my own account.
While I'm not sure if I can promise episode 5 will be released in 2023 (I'm going to start my thesis in October, so who knows how much time I'll have), I think I can promise some new content of some sort this year? So watch this space I guess.
