Special Patreon Episode Poll!
We did it! Or, really, YOU did it! Our listeners and supporters have reached our first crowdfunding goal on Patreon, and so now we’re going to produce three extra Patreon episodes to release over the next few months.
And, of course, it’s our supporters who get to decide what those episodes are. We’ll hold a special poll between September 4th and September 10th and then we’ll get to work. The poll will come to your email inbox from Survey Monkeyon September 4th, so be sure to check your “Promotions” tab if you use Gmail (and we’ll send reminders to make sure that everyone who can vote gets to do so).
Not already a patron? No worries. Head over to the Claytemple Media Patreon page and join us at the Archon level or above by September 9th and we’ll make sure you get to cast your vote.
We can’t thank you enough for your generous support. Reaching this goal means that our monthly operating costs are now fully crowdfunded, putting us on the path of being able to produce even more content for our listeners and readers. We’re so glad to have you on this journey with us!
So, what’s on the ballot?
Glenn and Brandon
Mountains Like Mice by Gene Wolfe
Sweet Forest Maid by Gene Wolfe
Winter’s King by Ursula K. Le Guin
Metamorphosis – Smallville, Season 1 Episode 2
Glenn and Valerie
Star Trek: The Original Series – Journey to Babel
Star Trek: The Next Generation – Q Who?
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine – Our Man Bashir
Star Trek: Voyager – Drive
Star Trek: Enterprise – Two Days and Two Nights
Brandon and Valerie
Young Zaphod Plays it Safe by Douglas Adams

Coming Soon: The Best Sci-Fi Novel You've Never Read!
Robots, clones, and shape-shifting aliens. The Gene Wolfe Literary Podcast is now reading and discussing Gene Wolfe’s masterpiece The Fifth Head of Cerberus for the next several months. This is the classic novel that prompted Ursula K. LeGuin to dub Wolfe the Melville of science-fiction.
So grab a copy and come with us to the distant twin planets of Sainte Croix and Sainte Anne to learn about identity and personhood, the philosophies of time and matter, Lamarckian evolution, and especially the craft of writing. Subscribe to the show or find us on our website, and join the conversation on our forum.
We look forward to having you with us on this journey!

New Episode of The Gene Wolfe Literary Podcast: Snuffles by R.A. Lafferty - Live from LaffCon!
Live from LaffCon, Glenn and Brandon discuss "Snuffles" by R.A. Lafferty with Gregorio Montejo. Demiurges, gnosticism, and carnivalistic violence, oh my. Also, there's a bear.
We couldn't have done this live show without purchasing more recording equipment. And we couldn't have done that without the financial support of our patrons. We're so grateful that you were able to help us participate in such an exciting event, and we look forward to more convention appearances in the future. Thank you!
Up next: Finally, finally, finally -- The Fifth Head of Cerberus. Tell a friend. Seriously, tell a friend -- this is one of the best works for introducing Wolfe to new readers.
