~paintings~

here are my lastest works in painting. mostly gouache, but I added two works with acrylics too. I lost most of the pics I took of my work, so I'll repost another thread showing more.

~portraits~

all of them were done by pencil. the first four pictures were for our live model class, we had to submit ten portraits in our sketchbook (we never submitted them though because the teacher forgot). three of these pictures are self-portraits, and the other one is my grandfather :)

~charadesign~

here are most of my works in charadesign this year :) the first ones are done with ink and a plume, the two others with colored pencils, the next one are liner ink pens, and the last ones are colored pencils as well. I included two sketches, the last one being the examination I had to pass this year for my current school.

inktober - day 9 to 12

I'm currently running late on inktober, but I still wanted to draw something for each theme, even though it is not on the right day. so here are the next ones !

• day 9 - bounce

• day 10 - fortune

inktober - day 5 to 8

here are the next inktober drawings !

day 5 was complicated to make, I didn't have a lot of inspiration for this one, but I thought twisting a bit the meaning of the theme could be fun. I like how Day 6 turned out, too, but my favorite out of all these is definitely the one for day 7! I wanted to show how the character was melting, showing his internal state. I was late for day 8, so I rushed and used a pencil for the last drawing. I think it turned out well !

charadesign - 3 school works

1. expression & emotion study : joy, sadness, rage, surprise, bliss, reflection.

2. face study : front view, 3/4, and profile at different ages : baby, 10 year-old, 35 year-old, 75 year-old.

3. body & face study : the assignment consisted on drawing a man and a woman full-length, and a close-up on their faces.

inktober has started! for those who don't know, inktober (literally ink + october) is a challenge requiring to draw every day of october, following a specifing list, and more traditionally in black and white with ink, hence the name.

I decided to follow the official list released by the official inktober account, but only use color pencils. I don't know if I'll keep only using those, maybe I'll try something else, but nonetheless, here are the four first drawings :)

i volunteered to design my school's sweatshirts and each 'major' is represented by a different animal (+ teachers & staff). i don't really know if I'll be able to finish this by the end of the week considering the ton of work I have, but I'll try my best to :)
