Alright people time to ramble about my VLD x Transformers AU

How transformers work will me a mash of different things from different versions cause going with just one continuity is cool and all but getting creative is fun so that's how that will go. So a few notes on that is going off of Transformers one, Cybertronians will require transformation cogs to transform and have vehicle forms that way, but based on other media they can scan similar vehicles from other planets and adapt the looks of their vehicle form to achieve a better form of camouflage. (Same goes even for those with alternate modes that are more like animals so they can also do so to blend in Like the dino bots and such.)

But Back to the AU, So in this it's post the fall of sentinel prime, everyone has cogs now and all that, Orion(now Optimus Prime) is in charge. But the time line is during the mid part of the Autobot/Decepticon civil War. Cybertron is till around, but things aren't going the best. And on the Auto bot side we have 4 bots (Which will be Lance, Hunk, Pidge, and Keith) who are autobots that were all made/born/whatever during this war. They've never seen outside it. Lance, Hunk, and Pidge are learning ro be scouts and to learn better fighting skills all that. But they aren't being thrown right out there right away. Keith was, but has been considered Missing/AWOL cause no one has seen him in years. Shiro in this AU was an Autobot that was tasked with Helping 2 scientist (Matt and Samuel Holt) To go to a near by planet and research it hoping to find more materials that can be of use. They all dissappear. A year later a ship crash lands on the surface of Cybertron, pidge had intercepted the ships signal and convinced Hunk and Lance to join them in traveling to the surface of the planet and check it out. They find Shiro wit an arm thar definitely doesn't match his Frame and definitely differs from the usual Cybertronian anatomy.

Like in the shoe Keith shows up, busts him out from the Autobots that were holding him there to do a check over. The other three intervene and it more or less goes down like it does in VLD. Keith takes them to the cave where he's picked up an odd energy signature on the radar. They investigate, and find a odd Transformation cog sealed in small barrier, and it glows a brilliant blue color. Like in the show Lance jokes you just have to knock, it opens up. And Lance picks it up. And basically gets the feeling he's supposed to replace his own cog with this. And despite everyone telling him don't, he does so anyways trusting his own instincts. And he gets quite a upgrade, definitely stronger. But upon transforming he's lost his orginal vehicle mode and becomes, you guessed it, the Blue Lion.

I'll make a follow up post about how Altean's and Galra will work along with interactions with the Canon TF cast and how that will work. Also would LOVE some Transformers style name suggestions for the Paladins, cause I don't have many.

Haven't been active but currently stuck in the voltron hyperfixation once more.

The irony being last time when it ended it was the only abruptly ending fixation I've had that I couldn't even look at anything with it for months like a bad ex situation idek. (I went back and finished the series later when I could watch it) and I'm shocked to see it come back with such a vengeance years later.

That and I've been watching transformers prime so just a fixations on robots in general. But transformers isn't a new fixation that's been there since 2007

I think the funniest thing I've ever been told is my uncle telling me how he met Dan Aykroyd.

Literally was down town in my home state and he and his friends all had movie accurate cosplays (he still has it now) and apparently he was going by, saw them hopped out his car, tripped while getting to them and all that.

He actually has a pictured signed by him too along with Ernie Hudson's signature and that story was a favorite he loved to tell me.
