Melody observes. She’ll never forget Phoebe’s voice. She envelopes Phoebe’s existence, being part of the fabric of the universe and all!

The trees dance , the birds sing Melody’s tunes to Pheobe in the mornings, Melody tries to brighten Pheobe up because it aches to watch her beloved go through this. She wishes she didn’t pass on, because then Pheobe wouldn’t hurt so bad.

Melody wishes she could do something other than just be a pained observer to Phoebe’s grief.

She’ll make it rain for Pheobe, gentle droplets kissing her skin. She’ll do what she can until Pheobe passes on and they can reunite once more.

i think there comes a peace, obviously, as they arent tethered to the bounds of human existence or ghostly existence. she watches and that's all she can do. there is a warmth in this. and it's bittersweet nonetheless, but there is a warmth in this.

I think about Melody a lot. It feels like she's absolutely everywhere; in the book I'm reading about the stars, in the music a street pianist is playing, in every possible mention of chess or fire or ghosts. I just... It's been difficult. If I'm telling the truth, I miss her a lot. I've even dreamt about her a few times now.

Of course the first time I've felt this way about someone, we're in completely different planes of existence. Or nonexistence. Obviously it's just my luck.

That feeling when you temporarily turn into a ghost so you can be on the same temporal plain as your Ghost Girl Friend but then your Ghost GF is actually working for the Big Bad Guy because she thinks its the only way she can get to the otherside to be with her family (they all died, she accidentally burnt down their house) and she tricked you into becoming a ghost (temporarily) so the Big Bad Guy could control you and make you release him from his trap. He then sets out to end the world and almost kills your entire family but then Ghost GF has a change of heart and actually helps save you and your family (using the same thing that killed her family, this is her unfinished business and so she can now move on) and like you didn't even get to have your first kiss.
