My favorite quotes from the Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller:
"We reached for each other and I thought of how many nights I had lain awake in this room loving him in silence."
"He knew, but it was not enough. The sorrow was so large it threatened to tear through my skin. When he died, all things swift and beautiful and bright would be buried with him."
"Because you're the reason. Swear it."
"I could recognize him by touch alone, by smell; I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world."
"He is half of my soul, as the poets say."
"I am made of memories"
"In the darkness, two shadows, reaching through the hopeless, heavy dusk. Their hands meet, and light spills in a flood like a hundred golden urns pouring out of the sun."

Nolan once said that there are some moments where they let the music take over almost everything and there are truly some moments in my life where I let time by hans zimmer took over everything inside and around me. It has become one of those OSTs that has transcended the world of cinema and began to recognise just for being an incredibly powerful and beautiful piece of music. I no longer think of inception while listening time. I no longer think how cobb didn't care if the top is spinning or not after meeting his children. I think about this world, ever-changing world that it is, and appreciate it's ordered chaos where the halls of mirrors folds in on itself every now and then. How everyone is one in a million and one among a million. Apart from making an empty bus ride, cycling at night, staring at a "no signal" tv screen in dark at midnight, a sunset through a construction site, sunrise on farm, the twilight hour, or just a casual walk more dramatic, time evokes emotions beyond description. Something similar to an epilogue in a story where the protoganist tries to find a conclusion to their journey so far through fragments of their memories and scars before or after major life events.

What the 6 most famous classical composers’ music is reminiscent of
Vivaldi’s music is like a sun rising in the early spring morning whose light caresses vast fields of fresh green grass and blooming flowers that open under its touch.
Bach is like the smell of incense in an old church that spreads over the lustre of freshly lacquered mahagony benches.
Beethoven is like the light of a full moon hanging on the firmament full of stars that shivers on the waves of the sea deep into the night.
Chopin is like the deep, dark waters of the uncharted parts of the ocean where all the darkest but wonderful and unimaginable that exists merely in our fairy tales lives in quietude.
Liszt is like a drop of morning dew hanging on a blade of grass in which the dancing sunlight breaks into the spectrum of the rainbow.
Mozart is like a sweet laughter of a small child that has just recovered from tasting the saltiness of its first tears.

Vivaldi's four seasons are famous because they all are actually poems that go along with the compositions. And if you read it while listening to their respective pieces, you'll really get the full picture of what's happening in the music.
In the four seasons: winter, the sudden calmness of the piece signifies the "Protagonist" warming himself by a fire, and the fast violin stroke reperesent a snow storm.
I highly recommend TED-Eds "why should you listen vivaldi's four seasons" video to everyone who started listening to Vivaldi (probably after watching "portrait of a lady on fire") it covers every major aspect about his compositions, the poetry behind those rhythms.

falling into abyss
I really wanna convey the emotion that the climax of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons: Winter makes me feel, but typing “du dududududududu dudu dudu dudu dudu du” doesn’t really convey that feeling very well

In my dark inspired spotify playlist, I've dedicated the recent joji song 'glimpse of us' for the relationship between jonas and martha.
Glimpse of us makes me feel things I've never experienced. The longing for someone I never had, someone or someplace. The internet is going mad about this song for fair reasons. It's just beautiful.
“you and I are perfect for eachother, never believe anything else”
Their love interest makes me believe that Dark is nothing less than a beautiful opera. The part of a series finale episode that begins with Martha following Jonas into the mouth of the cave, standing there and realizing that her decision will result in the erasure of her existence, and ends with this scene, is perhaps the most beautiful sequence in all of television history. It just takes your breath away and leaves you emotionally spent. This is a very heartbreaking story. A postmodern greek tragedy with epic proportions.

romanticise your life, be the main character, put on some lip balm, clean your room, stop thinking about the future so much, read something you love, rewatch your comfort movies, put yourself first, grind through work, work smart not hard, fall in love, fall out of love, make things happen.

"I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art."
-Helena Bonham Carter
