Yesterday I went to go pay rent and on my way back I picked some flowers. I went to a public park across the street where I was about to pick my last one and a woman politely asked me not to. An elderly man nearby asked me what I had chosen to pick and I showed him the collection of tulips I found. He asked me if she was giving me a hard time and I told him I thought she was right. "C'est la vie" he said, "you know what that means don't you?"
