Magnus The Red Ethereal Partner

He's one of my favorite Primarchs because he's a huge (literal) ass nerd, handsome and charismatic and it's endearing and somewhat frustrating how someone so intelligent can be so fucking stupid sometimes. Something Something hubris of men and related ideas, you get it.

In my mind, I like to humanize this huge colossus of men with relationships with mere mortals but Magnus is always tricky. One of his many delicious flaws is that he's very VERY arrogant about his knowledge, to the point of being a little condescending. Oh he knows he doesn't know everything, just very much knows more than most people around him.

So, in this case, his SO wouldn't be a human, no no no. Something more, no mortal or aeldari. A paramour crafted specifically for him, a designed Achilles heel to his mind and ego. A warp entity.

Created by Tzeench? Maybe, maybe not. All of the demons and creations of the great ocean are made through the thoughts and actions of countless beings in the galaxy, psychic residues made sentient and feeling. And what man,aside from the Emperor,has spent as much time in the Warp? Such tampering must leave a mark.

A creature, made to stimulate his mind, obscure knowledge whispered between coy smiles and flirty looks. Always hearing his call but answering just the minimum to keep him guessing, keep him attentive. A vision of silk, kohl, and smoke. Close enough to grasp but never to hold. Not a demon in the formal sense, a creation of the warp and a creation of his mind's desire. Just made for him.
