So, I have been hovering around during my Hiatus because I get notifications on my phone, and I saw this. All I can say is Hot Damn! Dude, I love this, would it ever become a Townie Pool?

Meanwhile...

The neighborhood conversion project didn't feel...complete yet... I was running my game saying "I'm finally be able to play" and... NPCs started to appear and... the charm has broke...

So I'm making an extend neighborhood with Sims 1 NPCs ! As always, I'm giving you the links to the SimsWiki, if you need more informations.

But I'm stuck, I would like to give them bio and memories too, like the other sims of the neighborhood, but I can't find any idea.... could you all help me ?

💄I gave Brigit the Maid a plastic surgery procedure, to make her more like the original TS1 one, and I changed Gardener Gloria's outfit with a custom recolor of @memento-sims Jumpsuit, and a recolored accessory ball cap 🧢

⭐ I also remade the iconic The Sims Superstar Marilyn Monroe !! I know it's not the perfection, but I worked a lot on the mouth and nose to make her close to the original actress. I gave her a @vulrien-sims pink dress but I keep option two open... 📽️🍿

Then, came the time of thinking of actual NPC I could make functional : I present you 🚓 Michelle the Policewoman, 📬 Carrie the Mail Carrier and 🗞️ Newspaper Nancy ! They will occupy their respectives roles. I recolored @vegan-kaktus' default newspaper delivery outfit and try to recolor her mail carrier one but it doesn't work in my game for some reason... 🎨

Then I was in need of 🚒 Freddy the Firefighter, 🧰 Repairman Bruno, 🍕 Pizza Delivery Dude Dale.

And finally, 🐕‍🦺 The Pet Trainer, which i will turn into an obedience trainer and 👨‍🌾 Gardener Bob for the Garden club. (Apothecary Todd will be the iconic lobbyist of the hidden Nature lot) 🌱

I made the old version of Gardener bob, but I hesitate to keep it.

i tried avoiding same faced-ness as much as i could while putting these together, but to be double sure i also included some sims by other creators i asked permission 500 years ago (it took me A BIT longer than expected)

the male base sim for 16/pat and female base sim for 25/maggie & 26/bree are by tvickiesims, 20/rhiannon is by platinumaspiration, 21/witches is by serabiet, 18/maxxx is by yakumtsaki and 23/lyta is by esotheria!

Slow movement

Hello, this account along with the belladonnacovemashup will be inactive for a little while. I am not sure for how long. I will be making changes on my stuff here and there so you will gradually see it happening if you come here often enough. Just not happy with how my game is going (so many ideas with no clue how to execute them) or how I have been managing my time (I have a lot of RL responsibilities that come first.), and I have to figure those things out. I will leave my stuff up so people can keep downloading the things I have posted. My YouTube channel will be going to sleep for a while too, so I am sorry. Another new expansion pack for you, EP18 Businesses & Hobbies! Stairs, doors arches and much more!

Collection files included

Shadow file included (you only ever need one in your Downloads folder)

To install the stairs (which are recolourable), make sure to put the scripts files in the modular stairs scriptorium folder!

Guitar requires Argon's mods to work (You also need to grab/select the guitar at the base of the stand/holder for recolors, action, and moving)

Tea set is functional

Fireplaces are in Appliances > Misc

Midsummer Cooler cloned from PenelopT's Picnic Basket

Cake Stand Blush Pottery cloned from MidgetheTree's Cake Stand (located in Appliances > Misc)

Patterned Rug by Local Arts requires Tvickiesims' SP31 Plushly Bold Rug (included)

Pottery Wheel is a default replacement only and the plate does not spin 🤷‍♀️

Frame-form Jazz artwork is a recolor of the The Lady on Red

Open for Business! Floor and Wall Sign are independent of each other. I'd recommend having one or the other on your business lot. I did my best to make Numeno's All-Placement mod work, but I'm just a baby.

⚡ Simple Laundry Update

- Improvements for apartments: sims won't consider neighbor's laundry objects, unless they're standing in neighbor's apartment - Maids will stay on the lot and wait for a washing machine to finish, so that they can dry or put away clean clothes - Your sims will get motive bonuses if non-family members do their laundry on livable lots (i.e. if you influenced them) - Disallowed washing clothes on Hotel lots, 'cause hotel housekeepers ARE CURSED - Laundry bag no longer slowly fades, but quickly disappears, after sims put away clean clothes from washers/dryers, 'cause slow fade was too slow - A configuration of ChangeOutfitLeaveClothingPile(100%) where sims drop clothes almost every time if there are no hampers, even neat sims; and if there are hampers, sloppy sims still sometimes leave a pile (closer to how it works in sims 3 & 4) - More expensive machines work faster - Edited prices; a dryer costs $1 more than a washer from the same set, 'cause I kept confusing them in the catalogue!

Issues with finding the buyable mailbox

PSA If anyone has downloaded this mailbox and found it impossible to find, it might be because you have Alienpod's dr 4t2 mailbox. Simply take it out of your downloads folder and load the game, so you can find the buyable mailbox and then after you have placed the mailbox you can put Alienpod's back in so you can have the pretty mailboxes. Some of Elsewhere's mailboxes were borked and did not display properly Alienpod's update so I had to change the mailbox and could not find the buyable mailbox I downloaded.
