@squareenix @squareenixusa allot of the fan base are distressed... not because of the showcase was bad, it is good! but the numbering of FFXVI doesn't match a new FF. FFXVI looks good but just TOO similar to FFXIV. in fact everyone thought 16 WAS 14 with the demo. music, art style, and direction felt the same. Final fantasy fans are a bit confused. One simple solution (and we have seen your company do this before) is to change the titles. Final fantasy XVI = Final Fantasy XIV-2 Project Athia = Final Fantasy XVI I think this simple change would have fans more mentally sane because currently 16 doesn't feel like 16, it feels like 14. And project Athia feels like something new and different we never played before, would be perfect for 16. Or if because there's no FF resemblances on Project Athia, then don't change but please change XVI to XIV-2 or something with 14 because it looks like the same universe. Do you guys feel the same?
