How to use a tablet without hurting your wrist

This is a tutorial I’ve written two years ago. I still see a lot of people having problems with hand pains while using a tablet so I thought I might post in on tumblr where it should get to more people than on my LJ. If you use tablet you might want to look at it, if your friends use tablet you might want to show it to them.

I realized, that I’ve encountered many professional artists online that have problems with wrist that are caused by using tablet. No wonder: you can find tons of tutorials on graphic software, but you won’t find any on actual USING the tablet. Well, it is simple: you install the drivers, plug the tablet in, personalize the buttons, if you have any, and start drawing the same way as you did with the pencil, right? Well… NO! That is why I decided to write this entry tutorial. Please, read if whether you’re just a beginner, or a professional that has been painting for longer than I have lived; the issue is much too grave for people living of making art to simply be ignored.

Been absolutely loving the new CritRole campaign so far, so this piece was a real blast to work on. (I’ve been wanting to draw a big fanart of the party like this since episode 1!)  (It took 18 hours altogether to finish this but I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.) \(;w;)/

All righty, this is my first multi-chapter fic! I’m totally in love with Kiribaku/Bakushima (whichever handle you prefer) because these two are adorable AF. Anyway, quick overview, Bakugou has a fever dream where he’s the fantasy version of himself and falls in love with dragon Kirishima. Break the Haughty - Update

So, long story short the story proved unworkable. I’d been a little over-ambitious with this fic, and tried to weave a story beyond my knowledge and ability. That’s not to say I’ve given up, but as the story now stands it cannot continue. I’ll be reworking it into a Kiribaku fic set in the present manga time, but with the central conceit intact. I’ll be posting it on AO3 under my name there, Ciaran_678.
