HIVE MIND

My bones have been hallowed, filled with bees that stung their new prison walls in hopes of letting their brothers escape. Giving their life for a seemingly noble cause. I now rattle as I walk, a constant reminder of everything they gave, praying that someone else will get a better life.

“Where am I?”

Welcome, dear reader, to The Creative Grave.

I’ll be your guide.

This is a page for where my art goes to rot. I will be posting poetry, possible writings, drawings, clay work, crochet, and vague ideas that I put down somewhere. Whatever I pull from my brain.

I have been told my art can be disturbing to some! Regardless of any feeling otherwise, the warning feels necessary.

“What are you?”

I am Ray. I use they/he pronouns for the most part. I enjoy drawing in pen, sculpting clay, and painting. I am constantly learning and improving what skills I have.

I am an artist wanting to document what I make. I will do my best to label all of my work with dates and such, but anything posted backlogged will most likely just have a year on it.

“What is this?”

I enjoy exploring themes of paranoia, non-realistic body horror, and intense expressions in my drawn art. My art is not realistic, I don’t tend to find joy in realism. I do both digital and physical work, though my style differs between the two.

In my writing and poetry I like rhythm and displaying inner thoughts. I try to make it understandable, and often times best read aloud.
