I made DS / 3DS Inspired iPhone Wallpaper!

I miss the nostalgia of my 3DS sometimes, and I saw someone make a Wii nostalgia inspired wallpaper for their phone. So I got the idea to design my own for all y'all also missing the nostalgia of the 3DS era, specifically of the Home Screen! And of course, I made different color versions for any of you who had different theme on your 3DS because I love nothing more than personalization and customization FOR ALL!

These include Classic, Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Pearl Pink, and Black!

(Literally, just save and download these right here, right now, I made these for free y'all. EAT, MY NOSTALGIA DEPRIVED CHILDREN!)

AND, I made some extra duo-tone wallpaper! Because extra customization IS EVEN BETTER!

These include Orange / Black, Turquoise / Black, Red / Black, Purple / Silver, Emerald / Gold, and Pastel Sparkly Rainbow Because I Couldn't Think of Another Theme and This Was the Best I Could Come Up With.

The dimensions should fit most iPhone screens. I personally tested it with my phone so, hopefully it works with yours. Feel free to tweak it if you need to, But guess what, that's not all... In addition to the original icons, I MADE CUSTOM CARTRIDGE INSPIRED ICONS FOR THE REST OF YOUR APPS, AAAYYYOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Save, Download, and use whatever Icon Customizer you have and design the 3DS Home Screen Inspired Phone Wallpaper / Apps of your NOSTALGIC DREAMS!!! SpringFest Screenshots

Don't have much to say today other than enjoy the Springfest vibes and, please, please let Team Frye win. She needs a confidence boost. I'm doing the best I can, despite my carpal tunnel making my arms cry to stop and rest, but I just can't ignore a Splatfest!

Just experimenting with certain brushes and rendering techniques. I took the Splatoon idols and Octolings as inspiration and put them in the most elegant, yet fitting, outfits I could find. (Still, I feel like I could use a little more practice. Especially with placing shadows...)

GrandFest After Shots

That's it folks, it's all over. Four-and-a-half days of partying, battling and celebrating all that's come to pass. I hope everything I've managed to gather (including the probably hundreds of other pics and vids from others who were here to witness and take place) is enough to give those who were unable to join us here any sense of the experience that we awaited in our Future, became our Present, and is now part of the Past.

(Also, is no one going to mention the, uh... the pyrotechnics above the stage set the canopy on fire? Was... was that intentional?? It couldn't have been accidental... right?)

Final Photos of the GrandFest

It's been a long, fresh, and wild ride. From Topside Inkopolis to the Deepsea Metro. To the top of Octo Canyon, to the Depths of Alterna. I've loved every minute of experiencing all these games (and DLCs) had to offer.

And I hope this doesn't end too soon, I don't want it to. Let's see how long we can keep these Fresh Vibes going!

Profreshional Photograhper Gets Amazing Shots of the Grand Festival Venue!

Every time a Splatfest pops up, I've made it my misson to take some great screenshots so anyone who's unable to attend can at least see the party in picture form! Here at the Venue, I took shots of everything and anything I could for the same reason, including some neat details you probably wouldn't be able to see up close. Even if you can't participate in the battles, I hope you at least have some time to explore the Venue for yourselves and pump those tentacles high in the air for your favorite idols!

(You guys can also feel free to use these images as references and draw or edit yourself and your friends / team to make your own Squid Cochella Grand Festival memories! I really don't mind! We're all here to celebrate after all!)

You Can "Sit" in the Inner Tube

The Inflatable Prop (that you can get during the Days of Sunlight Event) already gives you a prompt to sit on it. But I discovered that if you can stand on it and shimmy a little so your character can kinda sink into the hole, then Double-Tap the Sit Emote (also depends what Stance you use), you can make your character look like they're sitting 'inside' the Inner Tube instead of floating on top of it!

(Note: Not all Stances / Sit Emotes work, the ones shown here are the only ones I was able to get working to look right. Have fun with it though!)

While everyone is enjoying the Days of Sunlight and taking time to relax, Ruta's method of 'relaxing is, well... making anywhere and everywhere relaxing. (With the right props)

Because I shall be on vacation for a whole week! I love all three teams, there's almost no wrong way to go! I have faith in everyone (but mostly Team Rice) to battle well and have fun!
