but i had a theory for WEEKSSSS that her stepdad kidnapped pet from the circus and so he never grew up alongside copia and marika bc of it, and im??? not SURE?? if thats what they were implying with this ending but im just wracking my fucking brain trying to figure out WHO the reverend’s family all even is. WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE am i just fucking stupid because i have NEVER seen these boys in my life and they just dont even give an explanation for it when they’re all crowding around him in the last panel. like who is. is that primo . or. like what the fuck am i looking at. ironically, for as much writing and creative output i have, i don't actually read as much as i'd like to, or really have much creative input otherwise? i blame it on the adhd but really i think i just procrastinate on reading (despite how i've been itching to, especially lately) i HAVE however read a bit of The Hellbound Heart, but i never finished reading, like many such cases. clive barker's work is totally up my alley though, i adore the writing style a lot! also just went back to read the first bit again after this and giggled at the dead dove mention but anywho,

YES i know exactly what you're talking about!! copia being the one to care for and feed pet after he's transformed, watching over him as he does. but he stops soon after, suddenly fixating on the way he hungrily devours it, hearing the wet sounds that pet makes as he eats and, admittedly being a little entranced by his forked tongue as it wraps perfectly around the mush of his banana... copia may be a bit afraid of the fangs, yes, but... surely there's ways around it...
