(TW. Porn mentions, childhood trauma, political stuff (i wont talk about this much in the future), mental health decline, being VERY open about my past, my opinions on the situation)

as a child, i had been introduced to the non-kid friendly corners of the internet by someone in a similar age range. Porn to be specific, and it practically ruined my childhood.

but, once my parents found out i was looking at this, it especially traumatized me from how they handled the situation.

their child had been looking at porn, and (in my opinion,) instead of handling it responsibly, my parents took it too far.

they restricted my internet access without explaining why what i was looking at was inherently bad and harmful for my development, especially taking my mental disability into account.

not to mention they avoided talking about the subject entirely, which only made my brain crave the addiction as a want for coping with the situation, even though it would only make things worse. (i still struggle with these ‘cravings’ nowadays.

but it was my parent’s responsibility to take care of the situation reasonably, and they ultimately failed to do so.

the internet is a place for adults and people mature enough to navigate it, and they should’ve thought of that and limited it in advance.

and the internet in general should STAY a place for adults, young children should NOT be on it without parental limits in place.

kosa plans to change the internet to be ‘safe’ for children, but it’ll only ultimately hurt everyone in the process, including said children, and it’ll make it a worse place for everyone involved.

it is the parent’s responsibility to keep their child safe how they see fit, not the government to choose how they should for them.

kosa is bullshit, i hate the government and every old fuck involved, and i just want to crawl into a hole and die at this point.

(sorry for the rant, i just hate it all at this point and i want to cry, stay safe and i love you all :))

Me and my family saw the fox that’d been visiting us for a while on the side of the road. He was dead.

I was sad, i really liked him. Shy yet so bold, and cautiously took chances whenever he could to survive without knowing there weren’t any repercussions. He seemed to have mange and pretty hungry, god didn’t care enough about him enough to relieve him of this.
