I've been keeping my Gallery free of any WIPs or 'sample work' but I might be getting brave enough to start teasing some of my ugly sketch work from time to time. Can't be any worse than any of that AI garbage polluting the Art community. 🤢

I have actually made some progress with this (months old) one, but I'm kinda testing the waters to see if it's worth me carrying on with this site in particular.

I felt I had a moral obligation to draw Robyn with this look & with her hair down. 😌 Not sure if I made the right choice with the background. But then again... oh who am I kidding?! No-one's focusing on the background! 🤣

So my Winter Schnee Undressing Game didn't get very far on... let's call it the 'Bird Carcass' Site (or here for that matter). But @5by5brittana tried to keep it going in the hopes of seeing her "relaxed in her shirt & pants without all the accessories".

This was my way of saying thanks.

This is the first time I've drawn her with this look, & I'm confident it won't be the last. And I'm not just saying that because drawing her 'armour gear' scares me.

I’ve got old Artworks that I think could do with a revamp. I’ve got WIPs that I want to eventually finish. I’ve got ideas/doodles that I want to turn into fully realised Artworks.

I may be a slow, small, even expendable creative in the RWBY community but my love & passion for this franchise isn’t going anywhere!

And if you ever see me announce on any of my socials that I no longer want to produce RWBY artworks, then I have been kidnapped & I am trying to signal anyone who might be listening.

Whatever happens, there's one thing I can promise you: my love won't die. And I will keep reading, loving, and writing, even if I'm slow. That doesn't change.

I think about the writers who stopped writing because people went after them.

I think about the new reader who got scared off from commenting because they might say the wrong thing.

I think about the artist who was going to dip their toes in, but saw a blacklist posted and debated in the fandom they so recently were excited about.

I think about all the people who would be here with us, writing meta and squeeing and creating and lifting up creators. Who became ghosts, afraid that to speak up is to stick out your neck.

How many stories won't we get to read, how many pieces of art won't take our breath away, how many comments won't be put in notes or on stories that push us through our blocks... because anger and pettiness and jealousy and aggression are so common in fandoms that so many become ghosts before their time, and the ones who stick through it are still healing from their battle scars?

I mourn all the stories I will never see, all the friends I will never make, all the headcanons that will never bring stars to my eyes.

And I hope that all those who went quiet before they could speak will find a place to be safe, so that one day I may hear their voice.

I hate how fandom has become "if you haven't created anything in this very specific time frame after the release of the show/movie, everyone will have moved on"

And call me old fashioned, but that's just not me. I sometimes take ages to create and publish. And I will love a show or movie for such a long time (years, babes, years) that I just can't relate to the fast consumerism that's going on.

Because, let's be real, it can get really lonely in a fandom if most have simply moved on to the next shiny thing. Is what's created less worth, just because it was created outside the hype? Why is it such a taboo for this new fandom generation to love an old or "late" fic or art?

It's so tiring and I'm too old for the 30-seconds-hype-tiktok-shit. Just tired. So, so tired.

Not gonna lie, it hit me right in the feels & I encourage any fan of the Bees who comes across this to give it a read. Also, as a small creative, I consider it a great milestone that something I made actually inspired a Fic.
