Finally putting this new computer to work. Dedicated to learning a new software every 6 months, starting with C4D. It's been about half a year since I touched C4D, so this was just a rough test to see what I remember (plus to play with my new toys). I'm still very much a beginner, but I'll hopefully be in a completely different place 6 months from now!

If anyone here is a student, Maxon is offering 6-months free, including C4D, Redshift, and the complete Red Giant Suite for AE.

Hey CK Family, 

The dreaded day has finally come. I'm officially looking to rebrand from "Crystal K." 

I'm looking for something more professional, and if that means abandoning "Crystal K", then so be it. Sad to see it go, but I'm entering a new era, and that name I made when I was 14, even abridged from "Crystal 'Kitty' K", just doesn't hold up anymore. Looking to enter the 3D world of Motion Graphics and CG (AKA, movie graffix. My speedpaint openings will get a total buff). Art and speedpaints will still be a thing as I love to draw, but I'm debunking that more to 'side-hobby.' 

I want to keep the spirit of my slogan "Capture the Impulse," meaning embrace that spark of inspiration! I'm just looking for name ideas. If you have any suggestions, feel free to type 'em in the comments! I of course get final say, but I may turn it into a contest...we'll see.

Sorry for disappearing off the face of the earth. If anyone out there still has any faith in me, and still loves my work, thank you. Thank you SOOOO much! You have an Godlike amount of patience and I can't thank you enough!!

Unfortunately, I AM still on extended hiatus, but I promise I'm not dead. I NEVER AM. Although until I'm out of college, I can't fully commit (and due to the current situation, that may be a couple more years. UGH...trust me I want out more than you know). So art may have to wait. That doesn't mean I won't still post things, but I won't fully return full-time until I'm ready. I know I'm a broken record, but I promise...I HAVE BIG PLANS. Although If you decide to move on to better pastures cuz your out of patience, I completely understand. Good for you, but know that you'll be missed! Commissions are still open maaaaybe, but depending on the commission, I may turn it down. Currently sitting under a waterfall undergoing training mode and gathering KNOWLEDGE!

Final Design: I've already submitted it, but if chosen I'm still open to critiques. Regardless if it wins I'd like to animate this for my portfolio. Thank you very much for any future feedback! Changes: - A lot of people suggested adding gradients or textures, however I'm limited to only 3 colors. Altho I think it stands out more because of it. - Some also suggested leaving out the date, which a) is hard to see, and b) still holds a powerful message at any time. - Adding the stripes of American flag - removing the small blue dot - at one point it was initially a bullet to symbolize the current racial oppression, but it was a bit too graphic and took away from the main message - enlarging the main message: VOTE https://www.instagram.com/p/CFsatQah7At/?igshid=11whk1fki8wt2

Part 1 of 4 FINISHED! Been working on this for the last week. Took awhile, but I wanted to sketch the full body as well as the Ribcage, helps me understand the overall relationship with the entire body (Can't post the pics, so here's the next best thing). Plus extra gesture practice doesn't hurt.
