🔮 crystal balls are used to scry.

💎 crystals are filled with energy. which makes them epic for spell work.

🕯 candles contain all the basic elements of the world — air, earth, water, fire. earth in the wax. water is the melted wax. the flame is obviously fire. and the air is smoke.

📖 grimoires. it’s where you put your witchy experiences, your research. all the things you have learned about magick.

🥀 herbs have magical properties for healing and spells.

⚗️ jars. it’s pretty obvious — you can contain your crystals, herbs, etc in them.

🍯 mortar and pestles to grind and mix your ingredients.

📝 sigils is a symbol created for specific magical purposes. so, they are powerful if you know what you want out of them.

🃏 tarot cards. a simple card reading can tell you about your past, present.. and future and how you can shape it.

☕️ tea and coffee are often used in the witchcraft community. they are energy manipulating drinks.

✨ wands are used by the witch pointing the wand and directing all energy towards the subject at the other end. it is viewed as an extension of the witch’s energy. it is extremely helpful in long distance spells.

📚 your local library is bound to have some non-fiction witchcraft books. not really a tool but it’s definitely a resource.

PISCES: To uncover an illusion

You will need: A tall jar Moon water A blue taper candle Sand Aquamarine stones

1. Fill the first quarter of your jar with sand. 2. Nest the candle in the base so that it is standing freely. 3. Scatter the aquamarine stones around the base of the candle. 4. Carefully, pour water into the jar around the candle, making sure not to wet the wick or disturb the stones or base. 5. Light the candle. 6. Focus on the flame and allow your mind to wander. 7. When the candle reaches the moon water, it will be extinguished and you will have your answer.

That’s it! All twelve spells, one for each of the zodiacs! Kind of fitting that I would end on my own sign, and that it was the one I found came most naturally to me~ I stopped writing comments halfway through this because I started to really struggle with inspiration and motivation, but I feel very accomplished now that they’re all done. Tomorrow, I hope to make a start on the page layout and design! Thank you for following me on this journey~

AQUARIUS: To inspire someone

You will need: Purple candle - ambition Jar Moonwater A Taglock for the person you want to inspire (waterproof) Purple glitter Small amethysts - inspiration

1. Light the candle. 2. Fill the jar 3/4 full of moonwater. 3. Place your taglock into the jar and state clearly your desire to send inspiration to them. 4. Add the amethysts and glitter. 5. Use the wax from the candle to seal the jar shut. 6. Gift the jar to your target.

CAPRICORN: For success and discipline in the workplace

You will need: 8 black votive candles Mace - Self discipline Cinnamon - Mental focus Ginger - Success Matches/lighter Salt

1. Gather the mace, cinnamon and ginger and use them to dress one of the eight candles 2. Stand the candle up in a pile of salt 3. Light the candle, and as it burns chant:

Routine leads to great success, Bring focus from within, Through this candle and it's dress, Teach me great discipline

4. Repeat this every day at the same time, for eight consecutive days.

Alternatively, you may wish to mix the herbs into the salt for the candle to burn into.

SAGITTARIUS: To attract new opportunities

You will need: A small pouch that can fit in your pocket or bag A pen or needle and thread Smokey quartz - Drawing good fortune Sage - Wish granting Heather - Attracting positive energy Jade - Luck Pecans - Prosperity

1. Charge your smokey quartz stone in the sun. 2. Mark the symbol for Jupiter on your pouch. 3. fill the pouch with the sage, heather, pecans and smokey quartz. 4. Securely close the pouch. 5. Carry the pouch with you until you have attracted the opportunities you wanted

SCORPIO: To transform into your desired self

You will need Salt dough An obsidian stone A white ribbon

1. Take your obsidian stone and charge it under a full moon. Then using the salt dough, craft a poppet around it to represent yourself. 2. Loosely tie the white ribbon around the waist of your poppet. 3. Keep the poppet on a windowshelf that you pass by often for a month 4. At the end of your month, take your poppet to a place with flowing water and hold it below the current. 5. Slowly tighten the ribbon so that the salt dough begins to fall away until you are left only with the obsidian stone, with the ribbon tied around it. 6. Keep the stone.

LIBRA: For communication and trust in a healing relationship

You will need: Two small pieces of Rose Quartz - for love Two pieces of green ribbon - for trust Moon water

1. Each participant must charge their own rose quartz stone. 2. Tie each stone using the green ribbon 3. Bathe the stones overnight in moon water (best with water charged under a last quarter moon) 4. Remove the stones the next day, untie the ribbons and swap your ribbon for your partner's 5. Re-tie one the ribbons around the stones 6. Carry your stone with you at all times, until you no longer feel you need the spell.

VIRGO: For resillience and self care through trying times

A Jar Yellow candle - Protection Moon water A rose 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 tablespoon honey

1. Take your jar and fill it 3/4 full of moon water. 2. Mix in the lemon juice, sugar and honey. 3. Light the candle and clearly state your wish for an improvement in your situation before the rose fully wilts. 4. Place the rose in the jar and seal with the wax. 5. Keep your jar on a windowsill that you frequently pass by. 6. Once the rose has wilted, dispose of the contents of the jar safely.

LEO: To leave a lasting impresion

You will need: An orange votive candle A mirror Matches/A lighter

1. Take your materials outside 2. Burn the candle over the mirror 3. Chant or think the following

I am the focus I am central I wish to portray My whole potential

4. Repeat until the candle is burned completely.

CANCER: To help your elders to connect with you

You will need: Moonwater Tea infuser Passionflower - Harmony Lemon - Youth Sugar - Opening up

1. Shortly before bed, boil your moonwater. 2. Add a spoon of dried passionflower leaves to a tea infuser. 3. Let them brew for around five minutes. 4. Add a small amount of lemon juice and sugar. 5. Hold the cup in two hands, picture your elder in your mind and say:

See me see you, Our minds as two, We pair learn and, We understand

6. Present your elder with the drink.

GEMINI: For clear two-way communication

A small pouch or bag A purple ribbon Two peridot stones Himalayan pink salt - Friendship Valerian - Harmony Lavender - Peace Basil - Relationships

1. Charge the two peridot stones for one night under a full moon, one to represent each of you 2. Mix the himalayan pink salt, valerian, lavender and basil inside the bag. 3. Place your partner's stone into the pouch. 4. Hang up the pouch outside using the purple ribbon. 5. Gift your stone to your partner to keep with them.

TAURUS: To secure a desired outcome

Best performed under a waning crescent You will need: An apple - Banishment A strawberry - Fortune Vanilla - Happiness Sage - Wisdom Thyme - Courage An area where you can plant or bury the spell

1. Take an apple and slice it in half, hollow out the inside 2. Place a small strawberry in the centre 3. Sprinkle vanilla, sage and thyme over the strawberry and close up the apple 4. Bury the apple near to your home. With each handful of soil or dirt, state your desired outcome clearly.

Note: Fruit can be subsidised with dried version and placed in an unbleached paper towel --- Thanks again to @eclecticfawn and @stardvstprince for help and guidance, this is spell three of twelve. They’re getting easier and requiring less edits as I go along, which is encouraging!
