I have such excellent underutilized penpal skills. you don’t even understand. I had various penpals as a kid and I used to make elaborate, pretty letters/cards for them. I always included a little surprise of some kind. I’d spend HOURS on these things.

and then I’d mail it and a couple weeks later I’d get back like…a piece of torn-out notebook paper with the jagged edge from the spiral ring thing still attached. and it’s five grammatically incorrect broken sentences that were not even in reply to my letter. dude where is the whimsy!! where’s the pizazz!! I showed u my penpal skills please respond. I love you
