they’re on tiktok saying that “rhys has a crush on elain” for calling her lovely in passing once, saying “feyre is used up to rhys now that she’s had her baby, he’s bored of her already”, that rhys “obviously he wants to fuck elain” (because i guess rhys is incapable of not seeing women as sexual objects for his own use, even though rhys has had no canon past lover unlike others 👎), and act like rhys will be elain’s personal lapdog and pant around her, following her every whim.

no one is saying there won’t be affection on rhys’ end for elain, he likes her just fine right now. she’s feyre’s sister and not combative like nesta, of course he would try to get along with her because it makes FEYRE happy!

feyssian (feyre/azriel too but i do not care for gob 😵‍💫) are more of a legitimate brotp than rhyslain or even nesta and azriel, who have someone of a sense of understanding. feyre made those ties with the bat boys and all of the inner circle in individual and very deep ways, long before her sisters met them 😕

the idea that rhys and elain even know each other as well as azriel and feyre do or are as close as them as of right now …

and it’s one thing to be like “elain will remind rhys of his baby sister! the potential!” but people acting like rhys will trail after elain begging for her forgiveness in her book and she’ll “put rhys in his place”… have you guys met rhys?? why would he grovel towards someone who isn’t feyre? that’s not strange??

I feel like Feysands also contribute to Elriels misery most of the time . So many of you make false claims about how we ship Elain with Rhys and that just isn't true , we would like to see a friendship but nothing more .

Also I think it's hypocritical to be fine shipping Azriel with Feyre but to get mad and send a hate train to Elriels over a ship that we never dialed

omg, hi skshsks so, i'm very new to this fandom, and barely even follow any elriels, most of the time i don't even know what discourse is going on in your side of the fandom unless someone brings it to my attention, so i promise if any feysands are up in y'all's business, it isn't me lol

now, regarding rhyslain, nobody is making anything up, if people are complaining about it is because they have seen posts and edits. and it is not coming from rhysand's side of the fandom, it never does lol rhysand stans are all feyre stans first and foremost, so you'll never catch a rhysand stan shipping him with another female character from this series. having mlm crackships, sure, but never mlw with another acotar female that isn't feyre. so, if it's not coming from rhysand stans, it can only be coming from elain's stans, logically speaking. i have seen posts (the majority of them on twitter, but some here) where people over exaggerate their little to no interactions in order to make something out of nothing under the guise of them being the new batboy x archeron sister brotp, but it sounds an awful lot like there is shippy undertones in what is being said. and seeing that people already ship rhysta, it is only natural that feysands would get defensive at the same being done for rhyslain.

as for feyre and azriel, or feyre and cassian for that matter, i will actually disagree with you there. the boys met feyre first. cassian flirted with feyre first. fanfics, fanarts, and edits of feyre x batboys were made first, way before anything ever came up about the boys with the other sisters. the batboys are feyre's boys first and foremost because she is the main character, and she has dibs because she met them first. so it is not controversial or hypocritical for feyre stans to have these crackships because feyre is the center of the acotar universe. everything is about her, exists because of her and for her. you could ship her with the suriel and it would be fine lol

i just think it's SO weird how this author always makes her characters get sexually abused, on some level???

I mean, out of everyone (core 10), only 4 ( hugh, katie, feely and shan) haven't gone through that, and two of those don't even have their own books/backstory yet. And now Mark ( gross) was already a rapist at 12?? That's just so messed up.

Like, I get she's trying to make the characters deeper or whatever, but it's done so badly? Half the time readers even forget it happened ex: Johnny's SA case.

Even the characters seem to forget this fact!! For example, Hughie is said to be loving and protective

he tried to protect Claire from Mark as a child but encourages his younger sister to go to a guy who tried to harass her in PUBLIC and even months after this Jamie is still spreading rumors about Claire.

It feels like shock value, not actual plot. And when it should matter like with Gerard (and Lizzie too, but we don't have her book yet)

it's barely there? Gerard's book just glosses over his abuse in, what, two chapters, then switches focus to someone else.

She'll write a whole graphic child abuse scene but skip the aftermath?? Just a time jump and zero fallout. Gibsie leave Cork for weeks and we have nothing about that time!!! Did he gave a statement against to mark? Dublin PD reopening the Mark case?

EXACTLY !! the “bitchy moments” in question being defending herself maybe twice in the series, not wanting her sister to die because of her extremely unhealthy coping mechanisms, making an offhanded joke about lucien’s friend group name, and maybe standing up for herself against her abuser. when exactly should rhys and the inner circle “humble her”???

and why would rhys ever gaf about feyre hurting someone’s feelings. this is a man who was like “you can forgive lucien, but i will hate him for you because of how he treated you.” like he KNOWSS feyre is forgiving and accepting by nature (feymother theresa 🙂‍↕️).

but i guess feyre isn’t actually empathetic or kind it’s all fake, so odd that every character that is contentious with her all agree that she was the better friend or loved them no matter what 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

i also wish feyre would hold a grudge more, that way we wouldn’t be terrorized by stupid bullshit said by antis on a daily basis 💔
