My OCs in Yaelokre

(They're originally side-by-side in the same drawing, but I don't like how it looks enough to post it. They also look a lot better in person.)

These are my OCs, Virgil with the raccoon mask, and Josephine with the rabbit. They are not Yaelokre OCs.

Here is a simplified version of an explanation to some of the story, and why I spent about ten hours drawing them as Yaelokre.

But first, please note that while I enjoy Marvel, this was not inspired by the MCU, as at the time of creation (around 2019-2020), I had no idea that the MCU multiverse was a thing.

In this story I've created, the multiverse is a thing. The universe that Virgil and Josephine are from is the only universe where they exist. Virgil discovered he has the ability to travel between universes, but for now, he only can when he's asleep. In each universe, Virgil and Josephine's outfits and sometimes appearances change to fit what they would've been like had they been born there. However, Virgil's purple and black striped scarf is the only thing that never changes.

While I'm still working on the main story, I like to take my characters and picture what they would look like in other fandoms, aka, universes. It's really fun to imagine that in one universe where Harry Potter is just a series, it's a reality in another, and these two are the only ones who travel around and accidentally find these things out.

Is the Carnival the same as the Fun Fair?

(Note: Most of this info is from the Little Nightmares fandom wiki, and my own interpretations.)

The Carnival is from The Sound of Nightmares, and The Fun Fair is from Little Nightmares 3. Pretty much everyone and their mom thinks these are definitely the same places, including me. Here is what I've gathered.

I've highlighted the similarities between the descriptions of each place.

Description of The Carnival:

The carnival is said to be a massive ship located high up in the sky, as evident by the clouds seen throughout the carnival as well as the two giant wooden masts. All around the carnival, numerous lights, which Noone describes as fairy-lights, can be seen shining. In addition, various wooden caravans with big yellow wheels can be seen all around, along with colorful fabrics. Many different games and booths are spread about, along with a number of attractions, such as a giant Ferris wheel and a giant circus tent where performers can be seen performing.

Description of The Fun Fair:

As its name suggests, it is a fun fair, filled with stalls and stands alike and wagons, with the Fairgoers crowding the grounds of the establishment. Poles are constructed around the fair, decorated with hanging props and connected with bright string lights. The fair itself is littered with snacks all over the floor. The fair seems to host a ferris wheel and a big top.

Here are some things I'd like to point out:

Notice how they're walking around on a wooden floor? Correct me if I'm wrong, but carnivals/fun fairs are an outside thing, no? I don't think there's any other reason for the fun fair to be built on top of a wooden floor unless it was on the ship that Noone says it's on.

જ⁀➴ "Noone particularly took notice of the fairy lights and how they reflected from the puddles of water left by the rain, which cleared before she arrived." 

Just pointing out that it's raining in three of the five pre-launch images on the wiki. Does that really mean anything? 🤷🏻‍♀️ But...coincidence? I think NOT. (The third image is in my next point.)

જ⁀➴ "The Man in the Purple Suit was described as a being a sort-of ringmaster that wore a purple suit. When he looked at Noone, she detailed that he had no eyes, yet she felt as if he was still able to see her. On his lap sits The Dummy."

Everyone seems to have collectively agreed that The Man in The Purple Suit is the same guy as this one:

I think this is a fair assumption because:

If this guy wasn't important in any way, I don't think he would've gotten a shot in the trailer.

He's the only monster in said shot. Extra important.

That seems to be some sort of walkie-talkie device on the table, if it isn't simply some sort of radio. Who else here would need a walkie-talkie besides the ringmaster?

He isn't grotesquely huge like the fairgoers, making this guy stand out, and probably, most definitely, for a reason.

Now, I personally don't see anything on his lap that would resemble a dummy, and I think the reason they would reveal him as a silhouette (if he is the Man in the Purple Suit) is to keep the mystery and speculation going. That's also why I'm pretty sure the Carnival and the Fun Fair have different names despite obviously probably being the same places.

I really did go outta my way to analyze it and this is what I found (note, I could be entirely wrong, but this is just my personal speculation):

From top to bottom:

I'm sure that's a ruffled sleeve.

Tummy rolls, or even just the puff-up of a tucked in shirt.

I haven't really delved into the fandom of Amanda the Adventurer, but I have a thought on something that I'm not sure anyone else has said (if so, please correct me).

One main complaint I've gathered for the game is that "VHS doesn't work like that." Meaning, you can't type in an answer or use a mouse. Which yeah, that literally makes no sense. However.

Amanda the Adventurer has a similar format to Dora the Explorer, right? Dora asks questions and the audience answers them. I feel like the typing and the usage of a mouse is just the way for us as the player to "answer" her with whatever we want. But in the game, I think Riley is actually verbally responding. I mean, it's really not too far-fetched to say that Amanda can hear you. If that makes any sense at all.
