Do we think Papa Sorrengail actually died from heart problems? My guess is no, but I’m not sure if we will get the answer in OS.

We know he was doing research on feather tails and Varrish was EXTREMELY interested in his research, up to even asking Violet if she knew where it was.

We know his “heart problems” started around the time Brennan was killed and if theories are true then he’s tied to the venin in some way. Did Papa Sorrengail know?

Based on the missive from Nolon to General Sorrengail about there being no cure only control we know they were looking into the subject for some reason (my guess being Lilith was venin).

So I guess theory being what did Papa Sorrengail find that got him killed???

I’m not sure what I love more about the bonus chapters: Xaden calling Violet a pint-size morsel of straight-up arsenic, or him calling Andarna cute.

1. Sgaeyl’s previous rider was Xaden’s grandfather and was “officially recorded as a great uncle” Imogen also mentions her dragon’s precious rider was her great uncle (or aunt I don’t remember specifically)

2. Liam in Fourth Wing in the battle at Resson throws ice daggers at the venin but we know his signet is far sight.

Did the dragons who had riders in the rebellion bond their descendants knowing they would all be conscripted to the Rider’s quadrant and give the marked ones their best shot at reviving the rebellion?
