Vash misses the moment when nico grows up. Just one day he notices that nicos eyes are on the same level as his own and it's getting confusing.
Nico accepted his feelings for vash as if it was a part of himself long time ago. He doesn't confess, doesn't say it out loud, but it's obvious for both of them. They already have a good friendship, and nicos human feelings may be too complicated for vash to understand. Covering each others backs at fights, wandering at places that havent ever seen any human being, sharing rooms at small cottages on the edge of the earth was more than nico could ever ask for.
Even though nico keeps teasing vash with his flirty jokes as always, one day he notices vash staying silent and not looking at him. Their faces were close enough to see that vashs ears and cheeks turned red.
Just like many years ago vash showed nico how do humans live, now nico shows vash how do humans love.
I can't stop thinking what if wolfwood knew vash since orphanage
