Hi, I found this podcast ages ago and I really really enjoyed it; the blend of horror and mythology is so cool and I really loved hearing the story as it unfolded.

I know it's been a while since you last updated, but I wanted to ask if there was any possibility of this podcast returning? And if there was anything fans could do to support it?

It's a really great creation and I'd be sad to see it go; but if it has to for the creators wellbeing then that's more important, definitely 💗

Hello!

Unfortunately the podcast was canceled/put on hiatus due to the Covid 19 outbreak. My co-creator had to back out of the project due to his mother falling ill and I could not make the quality of the podcast up to par since I had no prior knowledge of sound editing until this project.

However, I loved building this story and if you're looking for more questions or answers to some of the podcasts mystery during my time in college I actually made a game design document based around The Daedalus Compound.

Ideally I'd love to pick this podcast back up, rewrite it and start over, but until I can find someone willing to co-create with me it will continue to be filed as canceled.

In case you have possibly been wondering about TDC hiatus and lack of new episodes.

In the beginning of making this Podcast I originally had a co-creator and producer for the podcast. My job was to write the script and help direct the scenes but the production would be left to my co-creator since I had no practice and knowledge in audio editing and soundscaping.

Due to Covid however, my co-creator had to step away and handle family matters and I foolishly believed I could do both jobs. I was writing the scripts, recording the scenes, trying my best to edit the sound with the help of YouTube tutorials. This became very exhausting quickly. I found while doing my best to produce episodes my script writing was suffering.

Eventually my co-creator fully dropped the project leaving me as the sole producer and creator. TDC was suffering from my burnout and lack of experience in editing sound. So I decided to put the Podcast on hiatus. Until I can find a new sound artist to take over the job, I cannot produce new episodes without sacrificing the plot and story within the script.

The Deadalus Compound will continue once I find people to work with the appropriate jobs. I want to give the podcast my all and not only half-ass it.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, the episodes will stay on Spotify and other streaming sites.
