i’ve been in a funk energy and motivation wise, I saw a friend last weekend I haven’t seen in a while and we had a great conversation about self improvement, our barriers and self sabotage, all the bullshit going on in our country and the struggle of not catastrophizing, he told me about how it took it 6 months to feel really comfortable with his new routine, among other things. And I realized having someone close to me to talk to about all this is so helpful, I have some motivation back

All the political bullshit going on really has a dark cloud over me, I’m struggling to stay on my routine and to not just give up. People tell me my day to day life hasn’t changed but that doesn’t mean other people’s lives aren’t affected in that way. And I have fear of whats to come.

how the hell do i manage getting burnt out i am good about forcing myself to do things for about a week or 2 then i get really adhd burnt out and go back to in bed on phone time

i REALLY want to get up early and go the gym before work but i never sleep well and wake up constantly until 2 or 3 am so once i fall asleep i need every hour i can get and i dont think its healthy to go work out sleep deprived off of 2 hours of sleep………ugh…

February Goals:
Start taking care of dad’s death certificate and legal stuff. It has been a year and a half and I keep putting this off because I don’t want to deal with it. I need to get it done so it’s done and gone!
Go on a hike
Pour a lot of energy into cooking at home
Start the habit of a consistent cleaning schedule
Continue to not drink alcohol until Feb 22nd
Practice mixing 5 days a week

January recap:
Had brunch with my 2 pregnant girl friends
Went to a all female auto shop class for the first time (this was so much fun!)
Got a mammogram/US for breast lumps
Got my iron and ferritin levels checked
Made progress in finding a dermatologist
No alcohol all month!
Increased water intake
Consistent with multivitamin for the first time all month
Got more storage to organize and declutter my living space
Got some cute decorations at thrift stores
Finished 3 crochet projects

why is eating so hard
#I swear consistently eating 3 square meals a day will be one of the hardest things i’ll ever do#NT people dont GET it#I have complained about this to friends and all they say is “haw haw i WISH i had that problem i cant STOP eating 🙄🙄🙄”#Like yes ok being malnourished for almost 10 years is such a fake problem :) ur right#Being incapable of basic ADLs is a privilege :)
