i worded it to make it sound more impressive/less creepy that i was getting love letters lmao i went to school in Mexico for 2 whole weeks in 5th grade with 3 other students from my grade school and 2 teachers on an exchange program. while there I learned:

Have you ever written or received a love letter? I received a lot of love letters when I went to school in mexico, I think because I didn't speak any spanish and we were all 9.. I'm not great at putting my emotions into written word so I haven't written any to other people.

I received several love letters in middle and high school, most notably one proclaiming that the author would have married me right then and there (I don't think we had spoken at all in the year prior? it was a dramatic time)

I have written love letters to friends and fics for specific friends which . was definitely an act of love at the time

13. Bath or shower to relax? i looooove the idea of baths but my tub is so small and the water gets cold fast and i get BORED but a soak sounds so nice. i really wanted to go swimming last month but the pool is closed because it is winter

26. If you could live anywhere with anyone you want, where would it be and who would you bring? within a short driving distance of my friends with my dog and a partner. I'm pretty fond of Northern Virginia most of the time

Tangerine: Favorite time of day? sunrise. a few years ago my friends and I went to a beach house for a week and for some reason I woke up every day 30 minutes before sunrise. no alarm, nobody else was awake. I sat out on the little boardwalk every morning in the quiet, listening to the waves, watching the stars fade and the sky turn gold. that week is the only time in my adult life i have been able to pinpoint genuine peace

9. Best childhood moment? I was pretty blessed growing up honestly but there's one memory from high school that really stands out. my friends and I were driving around a neighborhood in a golf cart on a warm summer evening, singing along to the radio, and I felt so happy and loved. I remember thinking "this is what being young is about"

14. Whats something upcoming that you’re excited for? my family is planning to take a trip this summer! we don't know where we're going yet, but we haven't traveled together in years and I'm hoping it will be a lot of fun

28. What are you proudest of? I'm really proud of myself; I've come a long way over the last ten years or so. I'm much more settled into myself as a person and I think it shows

While at the carnival, Character A and B find themselves in a part of the camp where everything is a lot more sinister looking, and a lot more real. When Character B gets roped into playing a riddle game, they don’t take it seriously when the price of loosing is advertised as being “their life” AU

After embarrassing themself at school, Character A volunteers to take a dare and steal the phony fortuneteller’s ball from the “monster carnival” that is passing through town. While in the middle of the act, Character A is almost caught, and ducks inside of a trailer to hide…only to be caught by the carnies who are strangely still in full monster makeup and costume AU
