Hello! I've been wondering for a while, but have you guys dropped all other projects and are focused on just doing Tsubaki-chou Lonely Planet? Cuz on your projects page, it says you're working on Suki ni Naranai yo, Senpai and Sekirara ni Kiss and neither have been updated in a while. I don't mean it in a bad way, but I just wanted to be clear on it...

Hello there. We recently updated our projects page but it’s still under construction (may have broken links or glitches), but for the most part it’s accurate to our current projects with the most priority; you can expect to see the rest of our projects appearing in the next few days.

We decided to drop Suki ni Naranai yo, Senpai, but luckily for everyone it’s been picked up by our friends over at Summer Rain ^^ It’s true that we are currently most focused on TCLP, but it’s because we’re trying to catch up. Hopefully once we do, we’re gonna release more chapters of the other two manga series.

Hello, i really love TCLP and i was happy with the new updates but unfortunately i had a hard time reading because of the translation and edits. The translation is really bad and hard to understand and most of the edits are destroying the background from the manga. It's kind of disturbing to see. Back when you were working on HNR there was no problem with any if these issues. So please try to fix this. Thank you

Hi anon! Charlotte here. First of all there’s a big misunderstanding I’d like to clear up. We’re aware that English scanlations of Tsubaki-chou Lonely Planet are available up to chapter 38.

Our group, Damn Feels, had no part in releasing these chapters. As of the time of writing, we’ve only released up to chapter 32.

Those other chapters were instead scanlated by @raechanme​, who kindly stopped releasing them when we requested her to stop because there are likely mistranslations and other issues in them that you noted in your message to us.

I actually took a break from cleaning chapter 33 to write this message, and guys, we’re currently in dire need of experienced translators, cleaners and redrawers. If you want speedier releases at the high quality we’ve always released, please consider joining us. Thanks!

After reading chapter 59, I'm very confused about how Mamura knew Suzume and Shishi visited the aquarium. What do you think?

I can see why it can seem confusing. At first glance, it might look like a plot hole but when you really think about it, it’s not one at all.

I’ll try my best to explain. Before Mamura took Suzume to the aquarium, he took her to Tsukiji, a fish market, to eat with his family. Mamura knows Suzume loves food, especially seafood, so even tells her he was sure she’d like it once they got there. She did and had a good time with Mamura and his folks.

Mamura understands Suzume at a very profound level and after the whole breakup saga with Shishio he takes her to the aquarium. Yes, Mamura probably didn’t have the slightest clue that she went to this very exact aquarium with Shishio but he took her to one because he wanted to show his gratitude for her coming with him to Tsukiji and probably chose the aquarium because it related to what they did.

When they arrive, Mamura notices Suzume feeling a bit distressed and she even apologizes. At that moment, Mamura connects the dots and arrives at the best conclusion he can think of. That this aquarium brings memories of something that upsets her. By now, Mamura knows this has something to do with Shishio and spends the whole chapter getting her out of her slump.

So to put it shortly, Mamura didn’t know she went to the aquarium with Shishio before but due to his ability to understand and read Suzume, he finds out pretty quickly.

Hopefully that made sense…I’m not too good in trying to explain my thoughts!

Chapter 63: Progress update

Hi, it’s Charlotte again. Chapter 63 has been translated and is currently being proofread by me and the twins over at beaux-mont. We’ll probably be done by the end of the day ^-^

As for the actual scanlation, I don’t want to make any promises since All Wink hasn’t released their scans yet. As you all know, we prefer using their version instead of Comiczip’s, which—quality-wise—is 9000 times stronger. I know I’ve repeated this a dozen different ways already but it’s true! \ (•◡•) /

They’re quite unpredictable when it comes to HnR—sometimes they release a new chapter on the day the Japanese raws are out and other times it takes almost two weeks, as it happened with the scans for chapter 62. Hopefully the wait won’t be too long this time because trust me, I want this chapter out as much as everyone \(>.<)/

Again, if you reeeaaally can’t wait, there’s a text-only translation here by shemumbledsomething.

tl;dr The best I can promise is that whenever All Wink release their version, we’ll do our best to release ours 1-3 days afterwards.
