Yes the first season was made by the creator when he was 12. Yes there are multiple seasons. Yes there will be spoilers to past seasons in future seasons. Yes the actual viewers vote. Yes the shows animation and voice acting was bad. Yes the show does get better over time. Yes there are some adult jokes. Yes this show is VERY quotable. Yes people actually ship these objects given life. Yes casual murder is part of the show. Yes there is no lore reason on why they are alive they just are don't question it. Yes you will be emotionally attached to at least one at the start of a season and will cry when they eventually get eliminated and last but not least yes it is gay as hell any other questions will be answered in the comments.

TAWOG understands comedy better than most shows for adults... and it's sad

to be honest i haven't watch gumball until recently and IDK why but it hits every joke. No joke it's one of the funniest shows I've watched in years... and then i watched Family guy. The reason why it's so sad is that shows like FG or Big mouth can do better comedy wise and gumball is THE PROOF that they can do better. don't get me wrong there are still a lot of good adult shows like South park, the boondocks and Rick and Morty but it's just that 60% of the time the jokes in modern adult comedy devolve into "funny sex joke" or "not so subtle racism". example A: An entire character only appearing in S1 being forgotten in "the void" because they were boring. example B: Gumball and Darwin's voices keep changing for an entire episode as a way to NOT ONLY explain puberty but also to explain why the VA's are changing between characters as well. WHY CAN'T MORE ADULT SHOWS BE LIKE THIS???

One pokedex entry says that a hypno kidnapped a child and ALL of your kind is suddenly framed as Kidnappers, Perverts or both. When in reality a lot of Hypno just want to live in the wild or even help people sleep with hypnotherapy.
