This line is just...heartbreaking. 💜

That little girl is full of light and happiness, and that light was completely diminished...until Yang (credit to Ruby, Weiss, Sun as well) reignited it.

It's so sad that one person can reduce someone to a shadow of their true selves, and how another can put the pieces back together with care and patience.

Some people are just bad for you, while others are so right; and sometimes you just have to endure the bad on the journey towards the good. 💛

Am I assuming correctly that you're referring to this outfit?

She looked so young & innocent, it makes my heart ache that she had to grow up so fast (another similarity with Yang).

If I recall correctly, she's 12 (!!) in the comics when she meets Adam...so it's 5 precious years during her teens that she's lost.

Don't even want to think about what she had to endure beside that bastard. 😤

"Reclaiming the childhood she lost" is a really nice sentiment, but if anything, I think she'd rather forget most of those hard years.
