I was ripped off by a craigslist ticket scam yesterday. I sat for a bit staring feel stupid after I had realized I “fell for it.” I’ve been wanting to see @depechemode since I bought my first cd, a “Policy of Truth” single when I was 10. My parents didn’t know cause anything that wasn’t “Christian” was frowned upon. I played that song on repeat probably 2000 times. @davegahan_official Was a human voice that I connected with in an indescribable way. A man, sharing his truth w/ conviction, strength and was free in his feminity. I had to go see them. So After sitting for a while, I said “#effffit this is my story and I’ll make it go like...I got ripped off, got over it, it’s just money and I bought another ticket and went solo, besides, it’s my birthday gift to me :) I think it’s a much more interesting story. Also, I learned once again to listen to my intuition that said “It doesn’t feel right, may be a scam.” What story are we making today? Let’s do us. Reach out and touch faith. 🤟🏼 (at Honda Center)

Reunited and it feels so good. This lit me up and kept me going. Real talk, I was on this epic trip w/ my fam this last week in a place I love, with people I LOVE and yet I was experiencing some heavy depression. I haven't felt that weight / looming cloud thing in a long time. Music, w/ my great friend @chasewreeves and our sons was the perfect therapy. Not because I was getting something from it but because I was giving something, to my son. We are beginning to speak a new language together. A language of vibration, of tones that talk and it's so powerful. Have you ever created moments w/ your kids or someone you love that you always wanted to do when you were a kid? Like give the thing that you wanted to have happen, to someone else and give them that experience. It felt so good, thankful. (at Portland, Oregon)
