Thought to show for the hell of it. Been a bit busy because of school, but my brain's been stuck on these ship grids I've seen on Deviantart. I.e. people can buy an adopt that's a fusion or a ship child of two of the person's own characters. In this case, I'm not comfortable making ship kids or fusion of my own characters and selling those.

However, I thought why not make a grid with themes instead? I'm not 100% certain how I wish to go about this yet, but in the very least I have a template!

Currently, the ideas are this:

These will be Mystery Adopts to start with. I.e. what people see are only the color palettes and whether the character is a Unicorn, Pegasi, Earth Pony or an Alicorn. Might even include that you can see the silhouette of the character.

To start with, these are a set price which I might make 40 USD. But since not everyone like mystery adopts, I might reveal the designs of the adopts eventually. At that point the prices might also change, and end up somewhere between 40-60 USD.

All of these adopts will be based on whatever themes they correspond with, but there'll be 6 themes total. I.e. the themes will be repeated on both rows. Meaning that there'll be a row (likely the middle diagonal one) that will only consist of 1 theme, not two.

Usually these grids tend to be that you can have a little bit of a say, such as with race and that. But I can be a tad slow, so hence why I'll probably opt for pre-made adopts. But this would if anything, be a bit of a project of mine with how many squares there is lmao

Darw more of nightlight

Decided to go all out, so have a redraw and slight redesign of Nightlight Rays! The improvement is quite fun to see over the years. But yes, thank you! Was not expecting a request about my own character lmao

For those unaware but I used to have a blog by the name of "City of Light n Magic", where Ray used to be an askable character! Currently he's not in any project, but who knows. He might pop up somewhere else someday!

I'm feeling a bit under the weather, but I really want to try to draw a bit. So I'm gonna see if I can draw some of the requests sent in to me here on Tumblr!

I might switch over to commission work or assignment work later (Need to do some 3D modelling), but for now doodles.

Been a mix of "7 Days to Die" and "Palworld" together with dad, or "Astroneer" with a friend (Hi, I know you'll see this, we have to continue that someday soon when I have energy)

And then I've been playing "My Time at Sandrock" quite obsessively the last few days. Both because I want the story, but also because I just find the character interaction soothing. Also because I want to get through the story so me and the same friend can play multiplayer together. ...Mostly because I want the story, since Multiplayer doesn't have it in the same manner.

I'm just going to ramble below the cut, but TL;DR:

I'm okay, just low on energy. Likely not eating well enough and sleeping schedule is a mess because of stress.

So this will be a bit about me just gushing, and also just my thoughts and feelings. It's more me wanting to talk to the void, even if I get no reply. It's soothing in its own right.

I won't go on too long about this specifically, but I believe I mentioned having broken up earlier this year. Specifically my previous relationship ended early December 2023.

I still don't feel okay from that, my self-esteem is... Not doing well. If anything I feel a bit scared of entering a relationship in the future because of how hurt I feel, and especially because I have such a strong sense of "I am not good enough". So some days are harder than others, but I'll be okay.

But I've kinda realised now that I have... Not really gushed over characters as much. Not really allowed myself to feel much regarding those, felt guilty almost. So Sandrock has been soothing, as I've allowed myself to bit by bit just sqee on the inside because the interactions are adorable.

...Also me having felt guilty to have to turn down a confession from one of the NPCs, like damn did that hurt- But the NPC I wanted to meet hadn't appeared yet and I didn't know who I wanted to go for. I'd say I'd have to do another playthrough and go for the other character, but at the same time........ I'm very stuck on the character I'm with. An odd sense of safety that I once used to have, it's nostalgic. Soothing, even. If I can find that again in a person irl, I'd be happy.

But currently I'm happy as is with my plan to just adopt a lot of cats when I get a better living situation. Become the crazy cat lady. Frankly- I'd probably be happy just living with cats if anything. I'm okay with that future, it's a good one.

And that's me being genuine because I can't see a better future than having a bunch of cats to cuddle with like come on

Okay I just need to vent but I have been drawing on these same art pieces for a school project for hours now

Like, literally all I've gotten done are a couple of people and it's taken me hours. And I- I hate it

What do you think of both G4.5 and G5?

So lets make this organized:

About Gen 4.5: The artstyle is cute, but I can't say I care for it. From what I've seen it's a more silly show with shenanigans and reminds me of "Teen Titans GO!" which I... I really don't like.

However, I also have a preference for shows that have more substance than just silliness to them. Hence why "Teen Titans" is more my speed. And sure, G4 was silly at times, very much so. But it still often had more to it.

About Gen 5: I had hopes for it, the movie looked good from the trailer. But it seems to have gone downhill from there. While I really wanted to see the movie, I ended up putting it off because then the show came out and from what I've heard and seen... They managed to butcher the personalities of the main cast, make them stupidly dumb. Not to mention that the style just isn't my cup of tea.

Twilight, Luna and Celestia all look uncanny to me, like I- No. What did they do?? Moreover, I hate Opaline's design and have done ever since I saw it. Those colours just clash so badly to me and I don't get how they did well on the main cast's designs, but butchered the villain's. I guess my only gripe is that Sunny's design is a bit too close to Scootaloo's.

TL:DR; Disappointment in both, I'll stick to G4 lol. Also don't ask me to draw Opaline

Hello, I'm sorry it took me so long to find this blog. Your artwork is very bright and expressive and I'm glad to find new people to follow.

Would Octavia be okay? She's my favourite. I've always liked her as kinda brooding, maybe a late night drink, maybe a late night after a performance. It's very kind of you to have asks open to anyone and I'm grateful for the opportunity.

Okay so, ended up not being a night but I liked the light so, eh why not! Got stuck with the image of her sitting by a window. I could change it but... I'm a tad lazy, can't be bothered lol

Can I request some Faerie ponies? Either canon or maybe one of your characters? (I am just in love with how you draw those wings absolutely gorgeous)

Just going to reply to this as text really quick (I did see your other ask btw, all good!). I'm not gonna lie, this didn't even register as a request at first but more as a "Are we able to request this?" lol.

Anyways: As you mentioned in your other ask; Yes, this type of request would be too vague on its own! However you can request me to draw Canon characters, or even my own characters, as Faeries if you'd like!

Just remember that if you do, do specify what character it is you'd like to see as a Faerie! (Just like how this anon did in their second ask!)

And for those that are unfamiliar with my Faeries, go check out @sweet-broken-fairytale as it's allll about the Faeries!

(Also, thank you Anon! I'm glad you like the Faerie wings I draw! They're a bit of a pain at times, but still- Very fun to do!)

Can you draw your favorite background pony?

Okay so, to clarify!

I don't want super detailed requests. Because I can't be bothered being fussed over details. A character or two + a scenario like, "On a picnic", is fine! Leaving the details of it up to me. But more detailed like "Zecora and Applebloom, running for their lives after having gathered Poison Joke, being hunted by a large swarm of zappy bees during nighttime." This is a bit of a ridiculous example, but I hope you get where I'm going with it.

Now, I don't want something too vague either! Because in the end I have these requests open because I don't want to choose! Requests like "Twilight arguing with a pony of your choice!" is fine, but anything vaguer and I just can't be bothered.

In short I want people to tell me what to do because I'm too lazy to choose myself! Also because, to be honest... I don't have very strong opinions on anybody in the MLP show. 'sides gripes with a lot of the cast. (Like how I don't like Starlight nor Celestia, I'm devastated over what they did to my boy Sombra, and I couldn't care less about the secondary Main 6.) There are a few characters that I might like a little more than others, but even then it's more of a "You're alright" kind of feel. So while I have background ponies I might like more than some others... I can't in good conscience say I have a "Favourite" one because I simply don't care enough about them, lmao.

Cuz I don't like guns. I might still draw guns in the future though because I do have a post-apocalyptic setting overrun with monsters where there's a Sniper- So he's using guns.

But generally don't like guns lol
