AlabNEU: An Outstanding and One of A Kind School

“All Hail! Fair new Era forever dear to me...” whenever I hear those words I can’t help but to sing it loudly. I am very proud to be an eranian, I studied here in New Era University when I was pre-school. Then i continued my studies when I was grade 4 to grade 6. My experience is so amazing and unforgettable, and as I continue my Senior Highschool here you would prbably be curious why I still chose New Era University.

New Era University is like a home for me, it may sound too clichē but it’s true. New Era university or NEU always makes me feel that I am safe and assured that I will learn not only in terms of academic but they also teach me the good manners. Honestly I like how they are being strict on students, the teachers are very excellent and kind. As much as possible they always do their very best to pass the students who have failing grades (only those who deserved it) they are very considerate and very kind, most especially they really love and take care the students and even help in their personal problems.

Talking about the environment, oh I remember how it feels and how I love the trees there. The fresh air in the secret garden, oh I so loved it! The nature gives me peace at the same time. I would not mind if I will spend an hour's there. One thing I also like here in NEU is that the school is very clean. Even the hallways that I always passed on it's very clean tou cannot see even a candy wrapper or ripped papers. The students are very responsible on their trash, even we have janitors/janitress to keep the school clean we don't just rely on them instead we help them to keep the school more cleaner. The securities are very antic and I like it! Sometimes when I will pass on the gate they will say "good morning ate" and even it's just a simple greeting it has a big part for me. Talking about my classmates, HAHAHAHHA can't help but laugh sorry. I just remember how happy and funny our moments, not all of my classmates are smart but I do believe that each of us has their own talent and I think that's what NEU is trying to do, to encourage the students to show off their hidden talents and for me it's a very good idea. Students can have the chance to show off their talents, they will have the guts and have a high self esteem on their own.

But most of all in terms of spirituality, we the INC (Iglesia Ni Cristo) members we always invite non- INC members to attend the on going doctrine led by the official ministers here in school. Religion matters to me a lot, I like the way how INC members invite non-INC members to listen to our doctrines. In this school they only not care for your academic about your grades or whatsoever they also care about your spiritual manners. The class won't start and won't end without a prayer, prayer is a must. I promised myself that I will never leave this school until the day that I finished my studies. One last thing, this is the only school I know that has a chapel near in the school. When you have problems the chapel is just there, you can go there anytime and have your own prayers.

Milktea is the new water! Infinitea Review!

"Milktea is the new water!" One of the trending food nowadays is milktea, we can't truly deny it. Many people young or adults, girls or boys really likes milktea. Well I must admit that I am addicted to milktea especially when it has many pearls! Wooaahh heaven 😍😂 but why did the milktea suddenly gets famous? Few years ago, people were mainly hooked on coffee, fruit shakes or not-so-moderately priced drinks, it is almost impossible not to see at least one person holding a milk tea drink in their hand. On this article I will do a short review about Infinitea in Visayas Ave branch. So first let's talk about their place, for me it's a good place because many people pass by there and there are a lot of people around their place, when you go inside you can already feel their aircon cause it's super cold and the smell when you go inside ohhhh that's so good! It smells like tea with a different flavors which I love.

The place is big enough to accommodate their customers and each table has it's socket so that you can charge freely. I like the interior design of the shop it makes me feel super comfortable and when you sit down you will feel like you just want to rest and do nothing in a whole day. The place is very clean I can't see a dirts even under the tables hehehehhe. I go there when I am stress or when my friends invite me so I went there several times already. Now let's talked about their menu they offer Milktea, Frappe, Original Tea, Fruit Tea, Hot Drinks, Lemonad Coolers, Ice Series and other snacks like nuggets. Their prices ranges from the normal amount/price of a milktea. What I always get there is their Oreo milktea because ita soooooo gooood! Plus oreo is my favorite and then their combination is so delicious! What I like about the place is that you can really relax there I mean if you are stress or you want to be alone it's a perfect place for you and it's a friendly budget to a student like me.

We do there our assignments, projects, reports and of course when we want to take a break and enjoy our time we got there. From our school New Era University it will only take you one ride of tricycle and after that you can just walk going there, did I said how nice are the employees there? Well I'm telling you, they are very nice and approachable even the guard is very nice! They have the best service 😉

If I would rate Infinitea in Visayas Avenue I would rate it 9/10, why? because they don't have wifi which is what we students and people need. But overall the place is nice and clean, I like it. Two thumbs up for them! ,👍👍👌

A day With Me

Want to know what I do in a day? Read more then hehehe just kidding. So my activities in weekday is different to weekends. In weekdays of course it's the day for school I always wake up as early in the morning to prepare myself going to school. When I woke up pray first and then star my routine, I'll heat the water so that it's not cold when I take a bath cause it's really hard taking a bath with cold water (do you feel me?hehehe). After that I'll wear my uniform and when I'm ready I will pray then leave pur house of you notice, I don't eat breakfast I don't know but I'm always not in the mood to eat breakfast. Our house is very near to school so I just walk going to school.

When our subject teacher did not attend our class I just finish my other requirements and if I'm done I'm gonna watch movies yay! But this week we are very busy because we are doing our research and we are selling our product in entrepreneurship. When we have free time we go around the campus to sell our product, it's crinkles if your curious 😂 it's not that hard to sell our product it's just that we are shy to approach students hehehehez but we should not be shy because we will not earn money if we don't sell it. That's am I busy for and of course to our research especially our defense is coming next week already.

In weekends we still have classes every Saturday but it's like a P.E. day for us, in the late afternoon of aturday i have my church duty I'm a choir member FYI. Sunday is attending my church duty on PNK, we fetch the kids in their houses and make sure that they'll attend the children worship service. And after that we'll have our weekly meeting in PNK. Sometimes we go out every sunday because it's family day! So that's what my days look likes. It's just simple and I don't go anywhere I just go home and rest mehehehehe. Well basically my daily routine is just simple but it's tiring. That's the daily life of a grade 11 Senior high student. 😉

My Golden Treasure

Meet Goldi my forever favorite pet, unfortunately he died because of over feeding. I cannot forget the first time I saw him, he was so tiny and super cuteeeee! Ugghh! That time I really wanted to touch goldi and pinch him but I can't. Our aquarium looks so cute and lively when goldi came, my mother bought that fish to relieve stress (she said hehehe) and additional decoration to our house. When he was inside the aquarium I can't help but to watch him swim around and I fell in love with him I swear he's really cuteee! I badly want to touch it so I tried to touch it, so I slowly pur my hand inside the aquy but then my mother saw me. I was the one who gave the name goldi since he's a gold fish ehhehe I always watch goldi everytime - before I go to school, when I got home from school, before I sleep, before I eat, before I take a bath and many more. I sometimes talk to him and asking him but of course I'm not crazy I'm not waiting fo him to respond. When I'm bored and down I just look at goldi and whisper "I wish my life would also be like yours goldi" because he's living in an easy way, he can just swim anywhere, he can just go anywhere and anytime.

Everyday I always fall in love with him I can't contain my feelings! Hahahaha I am the one who always feed goldi and when I'm in school my mother does the feeding. All of my siblings wants to feed goldi but I always stop them and said "akin si goldi eh ako na magpapakain" and that's how I am selfish when it comes to goldi hahahaha. When I go home from school or anywhere I always go to goldi first before anything else. Goldi's eyes are very beautiful and lovely. Goldi is a very simple fish and he's just quite compare to the other fish. But sadly goldi died, my mother said it was because he was over fed. I don't know if it my fault or not but I felt guilt on myself cause I always give goldi some of his foods but it's not too much I swear! After Goldi was removed from the aquarium I got sad, I even cry on goldi I miss him already. No more goldi when I got home, no more goldi before I sleep, no more goldi before I take a bath, he's gone. I got mad on my siblings telling them and asking if they are feeding goldi when I'm not in the house and I even asked my mother but they did nothing.

I was very sad that time our aquarium looks so boring, it will never be the same without goldi. He is my Golden Treasure. I love him even though he's gone. I promise myself that I'll have another golden fish someday and I will take really care of it. I'll make it will not be over fed promise. I miss my goldi maybe he's not for me or it's not the right time for me to have him. At least I experienced having a pet. Thank you goldi your ate miss you so much.

That is goldi when he's still alive. There are other fish I just forgot where are they hahahaha.

The Beauty of Quiapo

What comes in your mind when you hear Quiapo? Well for me the first thing that came up on my mind is "siksikan". We decided to go to Quiapo to see it's own beauty personally. The time we spent while we are traveling is just 30 - 45 minutes and we only took two ride which is jeepney. When we got there as expected there are so many people, they are very busy walking in all directions. We are like in a fast forward mode because the people are fast in walking, one of our member told us that we should put our bag in front of us so that it'll be safe cause you know Quiapo is Quiapo. We want to the fomous Quiapo Church to see it and k ow it's history. The church is the famous home for the shrine of the Black Nazarene, a dark statue of Jesus Christ that many claim to be miraculous.

It is officially known as Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene and canonically known as Saint John the Baptist Parish. Its architecture can be described as that of Baroque style with a facade made distinct through twisted columns on both levels. Its exteriors were painted cream after the original Mexican Baroque edifice was burned down in 1928. When we arrive there we saw the Quiapo Church and there are a lot of vendors outside the church. Different colors of candles, rosary, necklaces, bracelet, prayers, etc. are sold outside the church, There are so many people and one thing that I notice is when they are buying different colors of candles and pray for it , the vendors said it has different purpose. We walk around to Quiapo until we arrive in tiangge and I am so amazed! It was my first time going there, it has different products and they are solde very cheap and now slowly I understand why there are so many people go there. You can probably find there what you are looking for. There's this one part of Quiapo who sells foods and it was so good and looks delicious! Even if they sell it in sidewalk you can really see that it's clean and not dirty.

We also went to ukay ukay because we have watched some vlogs about the ukay-ukay there and the clothes are so good! So we went to different ukay-ukay store there hahahaha my friend lynette is like an expert when buying clothes there. I can't deny that some part of Quiapo is dirty well you know because of the people who throw their trash everywhere. We really enjoyed that time even it's not that very far but it's fine as long as I am with my friends. We would definitely come back there.

Mejor Persona

Every nation or group should have a leader not just a good leader but a very effective and efficient one. We truly can't deny that Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo, the executive minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo is a good and wise leader. Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo is the grandson of Bro. Felix Y. Manalo the founder of Iglesia Ni Cristo, Bro Eduardo V. Manalo became the executive minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo when his father Bro. Eraño G. Manalo died. He is the third generation of Manalo to lead the INC from 2009 up to present. We can't hide the fact that he has done many contributions insdie the church but not only in the church but also in our country Philippines. His father imparted him to have a selfless love for the church for this reason he has also been described as a "compassionate" and "good listener" although very firm and meticulous in implementing church rules and disciplines.

From 2009 to 2014 in just four years Brother Eduardo V. Manalo already established 10 ecclesiastical districts outside the Philippines, namely: United Kingdom, Eastern Canada, Western Canada, Middle East , UAE, North East Asia, China, South East Asia I & II, and Australia. Ten ecclesiastical districts in the Philippines including Palawan North, Bulacan South, Tarlac North, Laguna East, and the reorganizing Metro Manila into six districts and ordained more than 2,000 new ministers of the gospel and until now he continues to be a successful leader of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.

Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo's leadership is God-inspired. The victories and achievements of the Church of Christ are not the work of men but the work of Our Almighty God. The Chruch that came form a small and poor country and without any support of government and ohter organization is now recognized as one of the largest churches and fastest growing church in the world. The present status of the Chruch of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo) is indeed the work of God, the fulfillment of God's promise to His messenger in these last days, Bro. Felix Y. Manalo. And continued fulfilling his promise to the present Executive Minister of the Church of Christ , Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.

Living in Sight

Quarry Condo is a housing of Iglesia Ni Cristo for the workers, employees, and ministers who work inside the central. It is located in Brgy. New Era, Tandang Sora Quezon City. It consists of 4 buildings with 5 floors on each buildings. Here in quarry we don't treat each other like strangers, we are one big family here. You can really feel that you are always welcome here and the people are very kind, humble, generous and always help others in their needs. But my most favorite thing is all of us has a church duty. In Quarry Condo I feel safe and secured because you know that all of the people are inc members, no one will harm you or put you in danger the place is hramless. We always help each other when someone needs help and we don't expect that they will return the favor because we do it cause we wanted.

Our place is small so it's easy to clean, each building has an administrator that lead and run the rules in the building. We have a lot of cats here! And that's what I don't like the most sorry for the cat lovers but the cats here are (little) wild. Well because I'm scared of cats I don't like them here in our place, I want them to be out here because I have phobia of cats. I even don't get out of house because of cats funny right? I also have friends here in quarry, we are always with each other's when there's an activity to the church they are my church mates, but you know what I like the most here? It's our chapel. Our chapel is very near to our house it's just a walking distance whenever you want to go there you can especially when you have your problems.

I always do my personal prayer (panata) there. We the people here are very God- centered we always remind each other about our church duties and we got inspired beacuse of them.

Reste Forte

I have a lot of adventures in my life but this one will remain forever in my heart. Sta. Barbara, Bulacan is my mother's province. We often go there because of my father's schedule. As far as I remember getting only go there at least 4-5 times in year. We go there to visit our grandparents, my nanay (lola) and tatay (lolo). I admit that I don't like the atmosphere there because of the other people, I am not comfortable with them. We go there since I was young so little by little I am used to their environment, I remember when we always arrive there my tatay (lolo) will always greet us with his super wide smile and he even stand to greet us. He is sick, a complicated one. I am just using my phone when we go there cause you know I'm addicted to games when I was young, when my tatay would play with me sometimes I don't give attention to him for example when he will tap me then he'll hide I just laugh at him ,that's my scenarion everytime we'll go there.

Then one day while we are celebrating my sister's birthday I notice my mother, she's just sitting in one side and I can really tell that she is thinking something and then my sister told me that tatay is in the hospital. The day after the birthday of my sister my parents went there, when I got home from school our house is empty they are still there in hospital. When they got home I saw my mother's eyes it was really a red one to the point that you would think that she has sore eyes but not. She told us to come with them for us to see the condition of tatay. So we went to the hospital, I don't know but I really feel uneasy that time it's like I have a big stone in my chest and can't breath properly. When we arrived there my mother and her siblings started to cry which makes me cry too. I saw my tatay, lying in the hospital bed he is sleeping. I was too weak to see him like that so I get out of the room. Days pass and we just stay there in Bulacan and then suddenly the doctor talk to my mother and her siblings, I knew it. They started crying already, my tatay passed away.

What I hate the most is that I even didn't say "I love you" to him, I didn't express my love for him properly I hated myself that time. I regret that I don't give time to him. But then I understand, it's better for him to rest thank to suffer pains. It's been almost 4 years since he died, and we've moved on. We just remember him in our hearts and really learned a lot with what happen. I should not get shy on showing my love to others especially to my family because life is too short and you can't tell how long will the person will last.

Best of the Best

Looking back on my previous schools I suddenly remember my favorite teachers, well they are many but there's this one person who I'll never forget for the rest of my life. Her name is Ma'am Lopez my adviser when I was in grade 10, the first time we met I actually thaught that she is inclement and I have to admit that I got scared of her. She looks so serious and always had a poker face whenever I see her. But I was very wrong, she talks so sweetly which makes us feel loved. She became my most favorite teacher because she is like a mother whom you can talked comfortably and truly without hesitations because she is very understanding. She may not remember me and surely she already forgotten me but she'll always have a special heart in my heart. She is very caring to us and you can really feel in her words when you're talking to her that she really give importance and make sure to be true to ourselves. When I have my problems she's just there to guide, correct, and help me.

It's really worth talking to her especially when you are seeking for opinions or guidance. She doesn't consider us, when we do something wrong she always scold us and she will make you realize that what you did is wrong and bad. She really love her students to the point that she was willing to help others even in their presonal problems.

I remember when one of my classmate is suffering from depression, she is insisting to have a check up in the hospital and she volunteered herself to be the guardian of my classmate. I know that she has a lot to do because she also have a church duty and yet she still manages to do that , that's just one example of what I loved about her. She may not be the smartest teacher in the whole world but for me she is the best of the best.

EUPHORIA

"Think about it twice". That the only thing in my mind when I was offered to be a choir member of our church. I know that being a choir member is not easy as one two three, it's comes with a great responsibility. It was that moment that I realized that I wanted it, I want to be a choir member. While I am practicing I'm kind a shy because I'm always sitting in the front because all of the "nagsasanay" should seat in front. I continued practicing and the time has come for me to have an oath taking for being a choir member. I was really happy and excited because finally I can attend my church duty. After that we went to capitol to have my toga done, I am very exited when buying what I need like hairnet, black shoes, my own toga bag with my name! It feels so surreal that I am now a choir member. My first tupad is a live streaming in PMD. I got nervous that time because you know I'm just adjusting but it's fine and the rest is history. Being a choir member is not an easy abligation, attending the practices/sectionals, special gathering,and of course my tupad is no joke. It's very tiring especially when Thanksgiving and Sta.Cena are coming I really need to put some efforts and time for it. It's a HAPPY pagod for me, I don't count my hardships but instead bi count the blessings that God gave to me and I am very thankful for it.

As I fulfill my duty my heart is at rest, I feel peace in my heart. A feeling that I only get when I'm attending my duty, I don't regret accepting the calling for me because it benefits me so much and it brings me closer to God. I feel Euphoria when I'm singing praises for God and for me it's the best feeling I could have. Truly I am very blessed.
