Little women

New obsession and spoilers ahead!!!

I have just watched the movie called “Little women”, and I am absolutely sold!

It took me a little while to notice, but with how i kinda related to the main character - Josephine March - about not being a fine lady and not wanting to be owned by a man cause of marriage.

And then it hit me close in the ending when she wants to publish her book (that’s based on her life) without the main character being married.

Sadly she wasn’t allowed but I finally noticed something!!!

SHE IS A LESBIAN (I’m pan though so not fully relatable)

The whole thing about not wanting to marry

She says she wants to be loved, but she can’t love a man

She can’t love a man that loves her (something that genuinely happens in the movie/book)

The only reason she gets married in the end of the movie is cause the original ending wasn’t “allowed”

They literally say:

“If the main character is a woman she either marry or die in the end”

WHAT THE FUCK

I would’ve loved having the original ending but sadly the author Louisa May Alcott, wrote this story in 1868.

Our queer generations would’ve loved the original ending.

Like the first origin story is Mars (Ares) raping a princess who gets murdered for having her kids.

This god only raped her cause she had become a priestess who was not allowed to have kids by her uncle. So Mars felt like doing caos.

And her kids survive. But one of them KILLS the other cause he was annoying.
